James Chia shock as in good. I subbed to you months ago when you did a review of the soundbrenner pulse. Drumeo is great man. I've been playing 16 years and it was until drumeo that I started to improve. I spent the past year and a half as a member just let my membership lapse in feb. but I def suggest it if you're trying to get better. Jared and Dave are awesome dudes always willing to help. It has great member community too, everyone is so nice and awesome.
Great video buddy!! Keep up the great work!! You're on the right track. Feel free to get with me if you need any advice!!! I teach professionally at Guitar Center.
I bought this pad when they first came out and hate it!! It’s been sitting in a box for at least a year and a half!! I have collected about 10+ over the past 25+ years and this pad is by far the worst I’ve ever had and a waste of money!! I paid $75 from Drumeo. 😉. You definitely need to get a better practice pad and use it. I’m not saying this pad is horrible for everyone, but for a beginner, this is not the pad I would recommend!! Just my opinion.
Xymox reserve, or offworld pads if you want cheap faster pads, xymox is the premium of all pads, but they are expensive and take a long time to arrive to your house. Offworld pads are fast deliver and cheap with great bounce
I'm a beginner, just got my P4 and I love it! Excellent practice pad for players of drum kits as opposed to marching band drummers. I'm enjoying practicing on it every day; and Drumeo has great videos specific to this product. Pat's lessons and demonstrations are excellent. Very versatile practice pad.
I have had the P4 for a week well made and I have been smashing it. a great pad for sure
The third rudiment your referring to is a paradiddle. RLRR LRLL
Are you a drumeo member? I own the p4 and I love it. It was a total shock seeing you review this.
Nah, I'm not a member. How are you finding it? Has it improved your drumming a lot? Shock as in good, or shock as in bad?

Ahh okay, yea I'll for sure keep it in mind. Thanks for sharing your experience! :)
Awww thank you guys so much!
Learning drums is so much fun - How are you getting on?
I stopped using it haha. Preferred to just play the real thing. But I don't play as much.
@@jcunboxing fair enough! Real thing is much better
WOW! Love it! Do they sell drum tampons as well by any chance?
Was wondering the same thing - would be great if you could cover that in your next review!
this video is a great hit!
Marianne Foo yeah but it can only be used 1 week out of 4 so not ideal.
Do felt tip drumsticks count?
They do, but I find the practice tampons tend to spray more blood in your immediate vacinity. I went back to pads.

Just curious, why not?

@@wizard_whiskey1888 Those are marching pads, not suitable for drumset use.
@@wizard_whiskey1888 not for drummers. Just for corps snáre
