literally SO thankful that you mentioned ENFP's because thats what my test result was and i was so confused as to whether i should actually identify myself as an ENFP or an INFP because I truly show every single trait of an introvert and need to recharge and everything but i'm a loooot like an extrovert too! so good to know ENFP's are the most introverted of the extroverts. i feel like i get it now :D

The ENxPs are the most "introverted" extroverts. However, they are likely to show their extroversion through the EP, who are stereotypically "entertainers," but this may be the only giveaway.
Being so sociable and out there sounds so tiring! I just can't understand how people find it relaxing to socialise. I do love extroverts though because they understand that I just can't socialise and talk all the time! :)
Extroverts don't prefer more stimulation, they just don't get stimulated as easily as introverts. Introverts are often hypersensitive and process so much information that they need breaks. They are literally thinking too much (Some speculate that hypersensitivity goes along with high intelligence).
Also I don't agree on the idea that introverts want to be extroverts.

As an Extrovert I approve of this message. One of the few videos of an Introvert talking about Extroverts that didn't seem to follow the path of EXTROVERTS SUCK! ALL HAIL INTROVERTS. Good job.
I have a lot of introverted friends and they all complain about no one liking them. (I am an extrovert) STOP ASSUMING EVERYONE HATES YOU! Okay! All you have to do is just put yourself out there because NOT EVERYONE IS AS HATEFUL AS YOU IMMEDIATELY ASSUME! All it takes is a little bit of courage and you can make friends! I always bring this one person up when talking and all my other friends always talk about how they love her! She never talks to them because she assumes they hate her... It's so annoying. Don't jump to all these irrational conclusions. Also if you are so annoyed by an extroverts presence just tell us! Or make up an excuse like you have a headache or something! Don't sit there and waste our time! We will move on and talk to someone who wants to have a conversation.

I understand how you are frustrated. Honestly, I get frustrated with myself on how quiet and shy I get around people, but I'm just freaked out around large groups of people and I need my alone time. If I'm putting myself out of the group, it's because I want to be alone, no matter how much you pull me in.
May I suggest watching her Introverts video? It might clear some things up, but otherwise, I don't want to get into any arguments. :3

if i ignore them introvert they will get insecure no one likes them, its like i wanna tell to them i'm not a mindreader, they must just tell how we must treat them and that would be fine but introverted just keep shutting off their mouth makes them appear to be a snob and arrogant, wont even give little smile what other people deserved

I agree, and I can see it in myself how introverts can be frustrating, but honestly, for me it just depends who I'm with and I have to be comfortable with thwm. Because of bad experiences, I personally take absolutely ages to adjust to someone and become their friend, but everyone is different. I think it's really good that you're giving them time to recharge and I'm sure they appreciate it. I apologize if I'm not giving you answers, but even everyone is different and it's hard because everyone has had different friend situations. I have had trouble making friends because I'm so quiet, but I honestly try to open up as much as I can.

i'm a mix between extrovert and introvert.... sometimes i like to be alone, quiet myself, find inner peace and sometimes i'm like "let's party and do this, and that", it depends on my mood
Everything you said is so true, I especially notice the things you talked about when I´m with one of my good friends who definitely is an extrovert, whereas I am an introvert.
I am an extrovert and most of my friends are introverts. When you said that enfp are the most introvert of the extrovert groups it made sense to me. I need time to recharge myself but love being around people. So I makes sense since I am an ENFP!
The first time I met an extrovert who really didn't understand me was last summer. Everyone else seemed to already have an idea, but she was just baffled when I needed to sit back and be quiet every once in a while!

Yay! I'm an ENFP and everything makes sense now...haha I'm always up for company and I love having as many people around me as possible, but there are definitely times when I HAVE to be alone or I go crazy.
I am an ENFP. I do need time to leave and think from time to time, but generally what recharges me isn't total solitude. My favorite thing to do is hang out with just one person and get to know them on a deeper level. I find that I am quite good at helping introverts feel comfortable around me and helping them to open up. Although extroverts are easy to have small talk with, I think that if you can get past their personal bubble introverts are easier to have big talk with.
Most of my friends are also extroverts while I'm an extreme introvert, I look up to them a lot too :3 This is fun, more vids please! n_n

Introvert s enjoys getting to know people
And I think that's why introverts don't like small talk, or go clubbing, or whatever when no 'important' conversations can be had. While extroverts value the company.
The extrovert is after having a relationship with people, Introverts is after progress in their relationships. Might be that introverts use their relationship with others to also get to know them self better in the process, and that need progress and deep 4am talk not small talk. I guess you could say that extroverts value the time spent together just for its existence, while introverts value it by how much you found out about each other and what you gained.

Because I'm introverted I typically only talk to my really close friends and when I'm talking to them, I get really energetic and stuff. But yeah, I get exhausted pretty easily when I hang out with people too. :)

Generally an extrovert, but (especially depending on who I am around or my environment and mood) I am loud, bubbly and incredibly energetic and a fast paced talker. However I have A LOT of introvert friends and know when I am not being appreciated... Which does hurt and causes me to close up and walk away.... This is rare but does happen. It is ironic, if I am my happy usual self they complain, but if I am quiet and doing the listening instead they also complain abut me being a downer...
Alana Buss what you just explain describe me so accurate how I act is on how I feel if im in a room full of people I don't like im introverted if I'm in a room full with People I like im extraverted and when people don't talk to me or I can tell they annoyed I go in my shell and it's how I feel my mood switches quickly a lot which it wierd I can relate a lot I do get the feeling To talk people a lot and I'm highly emotional and sensitive

i can also relate with the fact that i'm drawn to extroverts. i'm pretty sure my best friend and boyfriend are. they're definitely people people.
There's ambiverts, but it also can depend on your personality type... (for example- like Cat said, ENTPs are the most introverted extroverts).
In the end, the very basis of introversion vs extroversion is what emotionally drains/excites you. I'm an ENFJ, but I'm frequently described as being a quiet person, and I have an INFP friend who is known for being loud. However, I LOVE to be around people, while she definitely needs a break sometimes.

I'm extraverted but I act a lot like an introveret because I spend most of my time at school with people I don't like. However, as a ESFJ, this is really unusual as we're often the most extraveryed types. So great video and the thing about not putting people in boxes is great.

Totally agree. I am introverted and some of my friends don't understand why I'd rather be alone sometimes instead of hanging out with them. I just need my time to recharge. I do like being around people.. small groups are best for me. Otherwise being around a lot of people (like big crowds) is too much for me

I'm definitely more of an introvert, but I feel like I'm also kind of an extrovert in reverse. I am super loud and happy and upbeat when I'm around a few close friends, but the more people there are, the quieter and more subdued I get - so most of the time I'm very introverted, but there are certain people around which it would definitely seem like I am an extrovert.

I was an ENFP before I realized that I'm actually an introvert, so this let me know that it probably wasn't just a sudden change, but that I was really an introvert my entire life (because when I took the first couple tests, I came up as the most introverted extrovert, but now I consistently get INFP)

In my mind I have always been an introvert, which is kind of bad when both of your parents are extremely extroverted and talkative. When ever one of their friends that I never met before came over I would always hide in my room. Now thanks to Cat I know that it's not a bad thing; I used to think that there was something wrong with me for being this way. Now i'm always trying to go out more and be more interactive. But I can't be in a space with a lot of people because I am sadly claustrophobic.
Haha it's almost like your describing me! I genuinely can't function on my own for too long I am always on FaceTime/calling my friends and I just love being around people! lol I'm ENFP. I just noticed that most of my closest friends are introverted. I think this is because I feel they mellow me out and I'm always concerned that not enough attention is given to them... I really related when you said that extroverts are more focused externally since I get sooo uncomfortable talking about myself in a conversation and am always asking about the other person.

speaking of "putting people in boxes" you should do some research into the critiques of these theories. Even though they are interesting concepts, there are soo many personality theories out there and each are critiqued in their own way. would be a good vid :D

That's actually a typical feature of introverts.
Often introverts don't understand the extrovert's need to connect with people as often as we do and get irritated and perceive us as needy. It is frustrating because a lot of introverts don't care to take the time to listen and actually understand. Introverts often see us as thoughtless and careless, while we do actually give more thought to what we say than introverts give us credit. We just want to get our opinion out there so we then can hear yours.

When im with friends IRL or Online I have plenty to say and love the enviroment. However when with people I am not so familiar with or complete strangers I am quite and observant (sometimes nervous)

I love extroverts, I've got some in my class who constantly hug me because I don't talk much, but I find it so hilarious and funny. One of them made a handshake with me and I was just like "what is happening lmao" they are such fun people to be around! One of my best friends is an extrovert and she talks to people like me who is an introvert and when I'm with her I feel like I sorta am an extrovert as well! c:
I am an extrovert, but I hate loud parties and loud music and environments with lots and lots of people. I like hanging out with my small group of friends often, and seeing friends I don't see that often, but know well. I always think before I speak in class, bu not necessarily in social situations (as my friends know!). I do need time to recharge, but often that makes me dwell on my problems more, and when I am out doing stuff like horse riding or hanging with friends, I forget all my troubles.

Introverts can actually be quite outgoing and social...but too much of social activity, especially in a short time, can be very overwhelming to them. For instance, they would rather be with one friend than in a big group. And as for parties, they are ready to leave and go home much sooner than extroverts. Extroverts "recharge" with social activities, while introverts recharge with being alone. So, you really can't tell who is an introvert by their youtube videos :3 sorry for the long comment XD
I'm happy being an introvert, but my family is full of extroverts so I'm often really overwhelmed, especially because I'm kind of forced to act like an extrovert because they always want to be everywhere without stopping-*sigh*

Alright, so I think I am extrovert at heart, but act introverted. Often times I'll find myself really happy with a simple conversation, yet bored with it at the same time. I LOVE talking to and meeting new people, it's one of my greatest joys in life, but for some reason never want to talk or do much.
However, 2 weeks ago I started meds for ADHD and that all changed. When on my medication I am an extreme extrovert, but think before I talk. When off of them I am opposite (out of characters!)
