Thanks a lot for your travel report about the Kailash *Kang Ringpoche* area. I still have very vivid memories . It was one of the highlights of my Tibet travels. When I was there in Oct. 2016 the weather was super. Temperatures were moderate, no clouds in the sky and the season for Indian pilgrims had just ended. Except for a few European and Chinese tourists there were hardly any visitors over there. In the small hotel in the village of Darshan *I think that was the name* I had a room with a beautiful view of Mt. Kailash in red color at the sunset. Unforgetable memories. The Kora was hard and since I am not a religious believer I gave it up half way. Also unforgettable were the walking along lake Manasarovar and Rakshthal. Rakashthal was more interesting because it provided a beautiul view of the 7,600 m high Mt. Naimo Nani. When I was there my trip continued further to the arid west.

As an outsider , I am British, I find this devotion totally mysterious, how can these people be so devoted to their beliefs amazes me, who started this belief , it is so hard to accomplish, even that family with the little boy and the mother with a baby on her back, seeing is believing, truly incredible. So much admiration for these people.
This is an amazing video. The gold roof temple, with the mountain in the background, seen at the 3:15 min mark is an amazing picturesque shot. I would stay there for an entire day just to shoot still photos of that scene. These pilgrims are very dedicated individuals. Their believes are paramount for their livelihoods. These difficult walks at such high altitude is extremely demanding on one's body yet they can conquer the difficulties. Thank you, Yan, for another amazing video Where else will you take us in the next video that will surpass this one?
No one will make fun of you, the driver's words prove everything, this one activity is not simple, many tourists just get out of the car to take pictures and leave, you can stick to half the distance is already very powerful!

I just cot up binge watching how wonderful it has been to watch your travels. A little bit like Rick Steves.
Young Yan, another genuine travel experience we should thank you for. Take care ! 加油!
Just love your vlogs & adventures! Don't worry about your walk. No point in totally exhausting yourself. And still, when you got to the village you found a ride to your next town! I might have called it a day & got a ride the next morning. You go, girl! Great drone footage & music, too!
One of the best Mt. Kailash explaining documentary I have seen recently. !! Amazing !! Har Har Mahadev
Hey Yan, sumit here in GOA INDIA... I love this video of Mt. Kailash .. amazing cinematography and information.. See you one day :)
Thank you, Yan, for another amazing video
Where else will you take us in the next video that will surpass this one?
Surprise :)
Thank you!
How I wish I could be like you guys travelling the vast land of China seeing some of the most beautiful places on earth.
OMG. So beautiful.
Wishing all the pilgrims safe journey.
Om namah shivaya
No one will make fun of you, the driver's words prove everything, this one activity is not simple, many tourists just get out of the car to take pictures and leave, you can stick to half the distance is already very powerful!
The view is just spectacular!
And the devotees are incredibly strong!
Last but not least, you did great too! Congrats!
The land look rough and unforgiving but very beautiful, thank you Yan for another wonderful and informative video!
You’re so fearless and friendly! Thank you for sharing your travels and all the beauty in unseen China! ❤
It took a lot of courage to start walking around the mountain. You can always finish it later, for another video. BTW we were impressed with the new drone footage and I loved your "Thrasher" beanie hat!
My dream is to do the Mt. Kailash kora. Thank you for this vlog. Very inspiring and beautiful.
I play RUclips on my tv & had to press pause at 7:01. Beautiful.
Thanq dear, felt like travelled with you.God bless you.
When I went there in 1987 only a village was at the starting point. It took me two and one half days. Dolma pass is at an altitude of 5630 meters. Thank you for showing that amazing landscape again.
I enjoy watching your vlog and sharing the culture of China. Such beautiful scenery and beautiful people. I am from North Carolina, USA
Imagine the powerful energy on the mount 🙏🏻💜 my eyes are blessed just by seeing the holy kailash.
I see the word kailash n immediately clicked ❤!
Is a big challenge at the altitude 5000 level to walk that distance without getting much rest there. Thanks for showing us the holy mountain.
