The phones that cost more than a good flat screen can be tracked and locked remotely.
If you do manage to get one that the person doesn’t disable then you need to go get it unlocked half the time so you can use your own service provider also everyone has a phone.
Not everyone wants to take that risk just to have a second phone.
Anybody on the other hand would be happy to get a nice tv for the low even if they already have one and they don’t have to worry about it being tracked and anybody finding out.

Someone tried to rob Butta, Lil Jay, and another friend of theirs at gunpoint. Butta and Jay left the scene and returned with guns. In the meanwhile, their friend got into a gunfight and with the robber and shot each other. Both the friend and robber died. Butta and Lil Jay were charged for both murders. The cases against Butta and Jay did not go to trial. The charges were eventually dropped for various reasons.

No, they were trying to purchase weed and for some reason the deal wasn’t going to go through. The dealer started to feel nervous so he felt the need to pull a gun out that made them leave and go get their guns. Then they try to rob him and in the process of trying to rob him they killed him.
Both interpretations are incorrect.
The “victim” pointed a weapon at them but didn’t fire. Afterwards, they went to retrieve their weapons, and upon returning to the scene, the “victim” and their friend battle and get hit, with their friend succumbing to his injuries. The “victim” says they were attempting to rob him to avoid charges of his own, as he was not allowed to carry weapons.
