They must have updated the design because the set I have comes with the little converter boxes. The only issue I have is not being able to switch between low/high beam and actually see a difference. So people think you have high beams on all the time

This has always been my worry about switching to LEDs. Do you think adjusting the lights down some could keep them from blinding oncoming traffic?
Same issue with mine. I also aimed the headlights down, and I'm still blinding people
That's the risk you take with LED inside of a halogen housing. Don't get hit head on by blinding people. Be safe out there.
