I just got mine and i followed the instructions on the video they provided. Took me 15 min. to put it together. The hardest part was to install back support if you are doing this yourself without help of other person to hold it and fit in all 4 holes at the same time so they can "click it" .The chair is very comfortable (Heroset Office Chair ) I'm lucky they provided the instalation video. I hunted and hunted for this one piece with a bend in it that connects the base and back rest together just to find out which way it should be facing. Finally found you here and got my chair together first go. Your tips and tricks saved me a lot of heart ache. Thank you :)
I ordered this chair. It arrived with the packaging open. All the screws were gone. They refused return because lock down had been in place for two weeks by then. Finally searched, wasted money, and found the correct size and type screw. Thanks to this video it is now assembled! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos! 💕
This is by far, the most extensive and thorough tutorial on how to assemble an office chair . no other video has so many helpful hints and tricks . my chair came with one sheet of paper, with six rather generic and random images, that are for the most part, useless . thank you so much for this video.

my instructions say to put on arm rests, then back rest. I think I will follow your instructions as it seems a better way to align the holes. I have all the parts, now to put it together!
my chair isn't the same as the one in the video - no form on the back to connect to the base, so very difficult to line up the arm rests to the back as one person. takes two people to avoid stripping screws and to get. the screws into the right hole.

Trying to put together the Beautyrest Sofil chair and cannot for the life of me get the arm rests to line up with the seat and the backrest, even with those other screws left loose
Thank you very much Sir. I still could not lign up the back metal with the seat, I will try to add the arms like you did, and then go back to the backrest. My problem is I am small woman, small hands with carpal tunnel for huge backrest and seat, it's hard to push and hold both parts. I gave up, after trying several positions, angles, i will have to ask my male neighbor to assemble, because I can't push properly.
Geeez, the chairs I got for $288 in 2017 are $519 now. Ouch. Maybe I just figure out a way to recover them, cause they've held up structurally, it's just the upholstery that's shot after 4 years of heavy use.

My base was faulty and Husky Office sold me a replacement. I can't get the piston and base to separate. Any ideas?
