From a narrative standpoint, Matt's sudden change in attitude make absolutely no sense. Up till now, it was personal for Matt because it was involving HIS studios and HIS employees. Now, Woods got hit in the head, probably getting a concussion, he gets emotional about it and Matti just like, "So this is what this is about. He hit you on the head." Matt should be even more infuriated about this because the guy managed to break in again and Woods got hurt because of it. I don't recall any injuries up to this point. Just violation by intrusion into the company.

God, I feel like this isn’t said enough but I love the characters you guys have created within yourselves. Towards the end when Woods was arguing about how tired he was and Matt counterattacked it by somewhat pressuring him and being extremely dishonest about the tracker? It really showed how humane the situation was by tearing the team apart from the inside. You guys have very distinct personalities with your characters that make them clash while similarly molding together. Matt has more of a bold and impulsive behavior, while Wood’s is more analytical, and Sam is a grounding mediator between the three of them. While it wasn’t more of the “epic” scenes in this series, I really enjoyed that little panicky threat of breaking apart inside of the headquarters. Matt seems very distrusting of his team and I am really enjoying the inner conflict its developing. I’d love to see more acting to further reveal more of your personalities through each other. Keep it up guys! You give me a lot of inspiration as a writer.
True when woods dropped the walkie matt literally was blaming him for ruining the plan and in this episode matt messed up by trying to corner him but failed then it was like woods was so angry at matt the characters are kinda messed up but i like it lol
It was actually pretty smart to chase him since they had set off the alarm. Now he might not look for tampering since he thinks you lost him. If you hadn't chased him, he probably would have been more suspicious, thinking there was more to the plan.
I really like how Samantha is keeping the others on the ground and helping them focus on their goal, I do feel like sometimes they get carried away and Samantha does bring them back.

This was an interesting episode. I think Woods feels like he isn't helping out as good as the others. He drops the Walkie Talkie in Season 1, Phantom finds out he's being watched and books it. Then, Woods gets knocked out and the Phantom knows where to go to get the serum. Woods is blaming himself for their unsuccessful attempts. I could also see it as him bottling up his frustrations and the thought of another unsuccessful attempt angers him to the point he breaks. Though, it's odd seeing Woods so angry. Woods is normally the calm one of the group.
It seems like he got angry cuz Matt was not happy that they were upset about his trying to cut him off and started yelling at them. Matt says he's upset because he's supposed to be keeping them safe and Woods is only upset because he got knocked out but if Matt feels it's his responsibility to keep them safe, Woods wouldn't have gotten knocked out.
Does anyone miss when they used to look at the security cameras every time someone broke into the office. And why didn't they check the upstairs cameras from smoke incident that could have help solve some answers?
That argument at the end seemed so out of character, they looked so angry at each other. I’ve never seen them argue like that, maybe I’m reading into that argument too much but could this be the first of many more to come? This entire situation is stress-inducing and could lead to more persistent problems between them. Again don’t take my word for it, this is just my thinking.
I think that you are right. Sam knows that it's personal. Matt does too, but now that woods has been "targeted" by getting hit in head AND something i almost forgot about the phantom used a copy of WOODS key fob. So i feel like now that all of them think it's super personal even though they have been through about the same amount they are going to get angry at each other and start arguments to defend themselves and start looking back at all the failed things they have done. And i like the idea of one of they bring corrupted and either joining the other side or breaking off. Also I feel like woods is being targeted the most because of the key fob and always being the one getting blamed on and hurt. So they might be trying to make woods feel uncomfortable and angry and also they might be trying to make him the one that doesn't agree with anything in the future and maybe splits up.

The moment when they failed to put the tracker, I knew there was something fishy going on. Since I watched this project 863 seasons, I knew matt would act along with the situation sometimes but in that moment I was a bit confused because of all the craziness that’s happening. In the end, my guess was right, matt did plant the tracker 😅.Overall this episode is really good 👍🏻.It really made my day 😁

I feel like Matt doesn’t trust his own friends here because this is the second time if I’m right that he has said that he has lied about a tracker. The first time he didn’t tell them about putting a tracker on the red mountaineer and now he said that he wasn’t able to put the tracker on this phantoms car but when they got back he revealed that he did, and he’s probably kept more secrets from them and then revealed them or still is hiding secrets and I just can’t remember them. I can understand not saying it on camera but going on about how we are all on the same team and then revealing that he lied to them is just a bit weird. If this continues I wouldn’t be surprised if this all comes crumbling down because no one can trust Matt the leader figure they look up to or even worse sides might be switched.

I love that the Syphus followers are now officially being called phantoms. It’s just a super cool name. And it’s just great character design. And as someone who’s passion is in character design, everting about the phantoms , like the mask and the voice and the way they move, is really very highly skilled character design. (Edit: also I just have to point out how the beginning of them preparing is just them making the murder starter kit, includes a complimentary fire hydrant apparently)

I feel like Matt doesn’t trust his own friends here because this is the second time if I’m right that he has said that he has lied about a tracker. The first time he didn’t tell them about putting a tracker on the red mountaineer and now he said that he wasn’t able to put the tracker on this phantoms car but when they got back he revealed that he did, and he’s probably kept more secrets from them and then revealed them or still is hiding secrets and I just can’t remember them. I can understand not saying it on camera but going on about how we are all on the same team and then revealing that he lied to them is just a bit weird. If this continues I wouldn’t be surprised if this all comes crumbling down because no one can trust Matt the leader figure they look up to or even worse sides might be switched.

I think it’s an interesting route to go down if Matt and Woods were to be torn away from each other. Since the episode where Matt was sus of him working for syphus theres always been tension and in all honesty I think woods would be a better leader here, Matt has lied and put them into reckless situations but woods is ready to take a more aggressive and offensive approach. Excited to see which path they take

I love that the Syphus followers are now officially being called phantoms. It’s just a super cool name. And it’s just great character design.
And as someone who’s passion is in character design, everting about the phantoms , like the mask and the voice and the way they move, is really very highly skilled character design.
