I did this free quiz three times with different answers, 1, all with positivity, 2, in between, 3, with total negativity, sadly, (and inacurately), the same answer came up which is "you are moderately toxic." I cannot help but wonder, how credible is this test, if you receive the same answer which I believe is simply programmed ??

I started to be an over-thinker when raised by an awful step-mother who hated me; I kept analyzing the bad situations with her to try and understand and cope. It became a lifelong habit I now realize. I KNOW God is showing me this bad habit that simply torments me, and I'm responsible for it! I know now to verbally rebuke and hold captive these bad thought and give them to Jesus. It works - especially at night-time. I know now too to replace my toxic thoughts that harm me with God's words.
Yes yes yes. I am going to resolve to take back my mind. God says by his stripes I am healed and whole of sound mind and body. Thank the lord.
Hi Kris, I praise God for this ministry here in RUclips. I always subscribe to channels that are Biblically based, and yours is one of them, so thank you. As a 60 year old woman, an empty nester and a single mother for a long time worry was always inside my thoughts. Recently, God has shown me that He doesn't want that for me. I read God's Holy Word, and He is teaching me to give it all to Him. That I am not in control of anything. To pray about everything, the small things, and the great big things. When I start to overthink, I say Lord answer that thought, Holy Spirit remind me God's word and promises. Then I start to say Psalm 91. Oh boy, all over thinking leaves. This video is a confirmation to me. God bless you and your family, and please never stop helping us with life's issues and backing it up with God's word. 😊❤
I told the enemy and to my thoughts ,enough is enough , and stand like a Warrior and literally repeating and writing those powerful Bible verses ,so that every time those thoughts come , I put the Promises of God as my Schield. I

Oh yes, over thinking, ruminating, worry, anxiety and for me it was a circle. Thank God He is helping me, it was one day I suddenly realized, I was fighting against myself. I let go and went to The Lord and we are still working on thus together. Amen! Thank you Kris, important topic as always.

Thank you God for this teaching to open my eyes to what I am doing!! This is ABSOLUTELY eye opening and hopefully life changing for me!! I started with your teaching on Narcissism and Codependency to help with one of the issues that I was over thinking about, waking at 2 am most nights and not being able to go back to sleep for hours if at all because of my overthinking!!! I have rebuked satin and all his demons over and over but I have not gotten released from these thoughts!! Now I understand why and how to handle the problem!! Please pray that I will give this all to God and release it from my mind!!!

My job with students in middle school cause me to overthink better solutions to classroom bad behaviors. I know God wants me here. Trying to stay on that path, with joy . I find seeking him in prayer talk really helps...it cleans me out. Thank you...its road i didnt even realize i was on.
I think my self control came from a place of self protection, it was having a lack of control over trauma that happened when I was younger. Thank you Again for your help

I broke a bad habit of chewing my nails.
I use it as a small example of how to break a bad habit.
I stopped because I had a vision of beautiful natural nails. I wanted it and I made a choice. I had to make this choice a few times and catch myself, but sooner than I realized, the habit was gone. I have the nails I always wanted.

When I caught myself ruminating and can't seem to stop, I think of Christ's painful way of the cross in order to redeem me. Other times I focus on the second mystery of the Holy Rosary, desiring also to someday ascend to heaven to be with The Lord Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Your wisdom and pointing me to the scripts in the Bible is saving my soul. Thank you thank you so much.

I believe some may surmised that it may appear to be overthinking when at times logic comes into the picture. Especially when you spent time praying and waiting on the Lord for direction. Just a thought. Thank you for the reminder of Romans 12:2.

Loved your recent workshop of responding to narcs; have written out process by knowing myself and knowing him, then identifying traumas and how they have affected my beliefs, fears, struggles… these are all reflections that have helped me sort out my life. God speaks through His Word. I so appreciate your transparency and Godly wisdom so I can take these shortcuts to spiritual and emotional healing. Love how you said, “Just do it!”

This is challenging. What I would say is my worry, is more like understanding of what will happen. It’s prophetic. It’s similar to being worried about a child near the edge of a pond. I’m worried because I don’t want them to drown.
I am confronted on a regular basis by many decisions that are life and death. I care for aging and I’ll family that has had very poor physicians. I was here and so they’re not dead. It’s that serious.
On top of this, the person closest to me is so toxic. They have put so many sinful things, almost like taunts and threats, into my mind that I can’t stop ruminating about them. When I do it brings on instant anxiety and panic.
Hey Kris! I adore you and my husband and I have watched many of your videos.
That being said, I believe there is a part missing here. Some of us, from a very young age and sometimes for years had to "overthink" to protect ourselves. Sometimes continual Trauma caused Hyper Vigilance which at one point DID protect us. Now it does not serve us and is not healthy....however, it is not the same as "normal" worry.
So this is when knowing our Abba KNOWS why that self preservation habit began, knowing He has the compassion for us, giving it to ourselves and then taking the steps of Trauma Healing with Him and a Counselor.
But if I had gone straight to "I'm sinning and need to repent" after years of trauma that would only bring up one more shame based thinking.
Trauma responses can start off very early and they weren't sin originally. They were how our brains helped us survive. Furthermore, the GREAT Biologist/Scientist created all sorts of things for crisis. Adrenaline, Fight,Flight,Freeze for a reason....after prolonged exposure...it takes time to heal.
When the Lord was helping me transform my mind and He continues to do so....the FIRST thing that I needed was Empathy...not "repent". In many ways the hyper vigilance was a God created response that initially happens in dangerous situations. But then...our bodies and mind need to unlearn this.
These situations are where I believe the "repent, your sinning approach" can potentially be detrimental if the "worry" was originally from danger/trauma. Especially complex/prolonged and in childhood...
I think a distinction between the "gradual steps to worry" that you seem to be speaking of and hyper vigilance that comes from danger/trauma prolonged needs to be specified.
I've watched enough of your content that I believe you'd probably concur.
I have a Biblical Clinical Counselor who specializes in Trauma and had the honor of giving my Testimony and teaching on how I retrained my mind with God's word and replacing our thoughts. There was a stronghold broken down and now I just need to battle the lies. Praise Yeshua for who He says I am. I am also thankful that HE knows where the fear came from. I know He has compassion for that.

Yes, that is me, and oddly enough, people pick up on it, and it annoys them. I must make facial and eye changes that disturb them. Anyway, I had 4 years of serious traumas, and I am slowly getting through it, but definitely go into sinning as it spins into negativity. Thank you for this message reminder.

My mum and sister both have cancer, and I felt so out of control with my thoughts trying to manage and be in control. I didn't even realise I was sinning because I was worrying so much. I needed that reminder that worry isn't healthy and that I am not trusting God like I should. I am truly sorry for not trusting God. I know he has all the puzzle pieces, yet I just felt I needed to know everything. I don't know what the ending is, but I know God truly cares about me and my family, my mum, and my sister.
