Tell me about it. These newer cruisers from Benda, triumph, Indian, & Honda got me turning my head. Never ever considered getting a bike until I walked past parked Indian bobber last summer.
The bike looks and sounds awesome! I'm almost done with my little mods. Dirty Bird Concept radiator cover delivered yesterday and 150 front tire and 240 tire installed over the weekend. Once I'm done getting the radiator cover painted and installed I will post my bike on RUclips soon. Your bike was the reason I bought my motorcycle and caught the modification bug.
Not yet. I will put together something over the weekend. I was very disappointed with the Dirty Bird Concepts radiator cover not fitting correctly and will have to modify it to fit perfectly. I was hoping for a paint and install mod, but that didn't turn out as planned. Im also still in the process of trying to find someone to install the rear fender kit from Twisted Choppers. Those are the 2 major mods that I have left on my motorcycle that will please me for now or until I get the mod bug to do something else.
dam i love that floating seeeeeat! Scout Bobber is by far the sexiest midweight sport cruiser out and also like the triumph bobber but bang for your buck incomparable
I appreciate the compliment. I usually wear a skid lid or open face, but this particular day was unusually cold for South Carolina. My hands were so numb I could barely pull the clutch lever.
Nice bike man love all your videos. Quick question for your tail lights. When you deleted your rear fender did you just place an adapter plate on the rear shock bolt?
I originally had them mounted on the rear shock bolts with some cheap EBay brackets, but looking back, they stuck out too far, that’s why they are now mounted under my seat as you see in this riding video.
I’m not a fan of the style only because I like clean simple lines. As for Freedom as a brand, I highly recommend them. At the end of the day, it’s your money, your bike, so do what puts a smile on your face.
Drag bars from Indianaftermarket.com. The mirrors are from Ebay but I cut the mounts on the original mirrors and fabricated them on to the new mirrors.
Both seats are ok for short distance, but can get uncomfortable after an hour or so. With the 1920 solo seat under hard acceleration? You better hold on brother, and don’t make the mistake of cleaning your seat with a slick finish product.
The riding position is surprisingly comfortable. The seat is ok, but it does raise you a couple of inches over the stock seat. That can be a good thing or bad. Also with no rear fender, the solo seat is slick. When you hit the throttle, you better hold on. Not sure I'd want to ride a great distance with this set up, but I sure do get a lot of compliments as it is.
Hey man - if you are ever interested in doing a "Why you ride / why the scout bobber'" video, let me know and I'll add your video to a vlog I'm putting together .... stay safe brother!
Hey brother, do you experienced any vibration wen going speeds above of 50 miles per hour since you installed both front and rear wider tires ,Any kind of vibration ? Thanks
Haha, I get asked about the riding position all the time. It’s very comfortable. Would I ride across country...probably not. My clutch hand usually cramps up way before any back pain.
I ride a 1200 he sportster and that’s the one thing I gripe is the lower back pain after a 1-2 hour ride. Considering jumping ship to a Indian and the way your bike looks makes me want to. Haha take care!
You do not need to modify the swing arm, however due to the minimal clearance, the Metzeler 240 tire is the only tire that I know of that is guaranteed to fit. Others have installed different brand 240 tires that rubbed the swing arm.
That’s a great question to put into perspective for viewers. I’m 5’10”. 2 hours is my longest ride. The only discomfort is from my left hand cramping from using the clutch.
@@oxouk Thanks for the reply, been looking at your videos for a while. Love the bike! This is the one that has me actually wanting this bike lol rather than all the race replica style bikes.
Looking to get this type of bike. Super concerned with the riding position. I dont know how tall this dude is but i bet he would be sore after riding an hour or two in this position.
This is not a bike for long rides. It’s a bobber for bobbing around town. He looks about 6 foot or taller some mods can make it easier for taller riders
@@oxouk i noticed the front tire side-wall height didn't match up with the rear tire, i wonder if maybe a 150/40/16 would have a better symmetry front to back? really like the 150 front for that fat bobber look!
@@ShimaMohanadas the only time you feel it is if you are sitting for a long period of time in traffic. You are always mentally aware of something hot near your leg therefore when you come to a stop, your natural foot planted stance keeps you comfortably away from the pipe.
2yrs later, and this is still a cool video, Thanks for creating this... I've never rode a bike, and now suddenly, I want one😅

Indian Scout Bobber design wise, has the best lines of any bike being made right now. Fight me.
Stunning bike! Beautiful 😍
Fantastic video!! Thank you
Absolutely stunning bike! You've done a great job with it brother. Enjoy!
Oh and thanks for finally putting out a riding video! Didn't want it to end.
Gorgeous bike! I love the seat and fender delete.
Stunning ride!
This is amazing thanks for sharing this with us my dude😁😁😁
The exhaust 👌

Thank you for the music, much better than the sound of the bike.
Thanks for watching and helping me get paid.
You made me love this bike bro the way yours is how I want my to be if I buy one this is lovely

100%. You can’t beat the bobber for the price. Its low center of gravity makes it easy to handle also.
Really nice 👏🏻😉
Badass set up
I like your spinners.
I would put the handle bars a little higher to get rid of the lean but it looks awesome 👌
Beautiful bike
Bad ass bike.

WTF this motorcycle is the greatest thing i've ever seen before

You now need a nice cool open helmet, to complete the look!

Weird seating position, awesome riding footage.
Everyone always asks me if it’s uncomfortable. It’s very comfortable, however after a couple hours I’m done.
@@oxoukif you’re done after a couple of hours, I would say it’s not very comfortable then. Seems ok for short rides, but not for long ones.

Hello wanted to know If I'm able to add a passenger peg using this exhaust ?
Nice . first mod 240 tire kit

Where can I find the exhaust?
Looks a wee bit uncomfortable but is beautiful
Guys Indian scout bobber or Harley48 which would you choose?
Are them drag bars?
Nice
So gorgeous
Like the slow sweep of the exhaust pipes. Heat shield? Does it burn your leg?
Haven’t burnt my leg yet. It can get really hot if you’re stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.

Triumph bobber for me :)

How's the vintage 20's seat compared to oem for comfort...Bumps.. lower back...sliding back when giving throttle
Both seats are ok for short distance, but can get uncomfortable after an hour or so. With the 1920 solo seat under hard acceleration? You better hold on brother, and don’t make the mistake of cleaning your seat with a slick finish product.
How does the bigger front tire feel?
Literally no different at all. Definitely not like the rear tire.
Are your foot controls considered the Forward or Mid position? Thanks
They are mid position
How much I need on my bank account to get something like that 🔥

Lookin fuckin sick man! Can’t wait till I can mod my bike out. Once my lady gets sick of riding on the back lol
