Very modifiable platform. I've done a temporary trolling motor mount and getting ready to do a permanent mount on the bow. I upgraded from the Garmin Striker 4 to a Hummingbird Helix 5 with Down Imaging.
Been there with the rod hitting the overpass 😂 I own a Lifetime Teton. I love it, but just thinking about one day getting a Yukon so that I can stand up and fish. Looks pretty cool.
I've finally gotten comfortable enough to stand up in my Yukon! Still not trying to fish standing up, haven't gotten that confident yet. I keep my rods laying down beside me now. I recently learned that's what the bungee cords on the side are for. My buddy that was fishing with me that day was in a Teton and he said the same thing. Loved his but wished he had gotten the Yukon (Teton Pro) when he bought his because he couldn't stand up. Thanks for the view, comment and sub. I will follow suit!
Ĺòst a rod an reel out of it by hitting it with My paddle twice . First time I had a pool noodle on it and I recovered it. Then I took the pool noodle off to fish and knocked it out the hood r r again and lost it.
I've lost one doing the exact same thing, I immediately quit using the rod holders because of it. I now use the laydown holders instead and strap them with the bungee.
Yeah, I didn't realize the 2 straps up front were rod holders until after this video. I will use them more often than the back two for sure. Keep me from forgetting to remove them in low ceilings. LOL
Very good kayak for the budget conscious wise Fisherman

Best deal in fishing kayaks.
