    used the beta software to see the External input for MPVI2 Pro Link. Software also displays which color wire.goes to which AD input. Blue is #2 and Red is #1

      Talk about confusing. The video states blue for Analog 1, but the Scanner and the manual say RED is Analog 1.

    Thanks for the video, I just have one question, if you have the old MPV1 pro unit there was a discount right? Where you put your serial number and it will tell you how much it will cost you to upgrade to the MPV2. I'm I right?

      Hello Josh,
      We offer an analog harness for the AEM X-Series wideband that can be used in place of the OBDII plug up. This will allow you to wire up the Pro Link or EIO plug of your Pro enable interface.

      4 years later but no it's not included in the mpvi2(or now the mpvi3) package. These companies are looking really greedy and shady. They purposely confuse and mislead ppl to search for selling points.

      When selecting a parameter for the charts or the graphs, do not select it from the External Inputs folder. Instead select it from the Transforms folder.

    • @TheTuningSchool
      @TheTuningSchool  5 лет назад

      The same concepts still apply. The HP Tuners Pro link cable needs a 5v signal from the wideband. Some quick searching shows that it should be the white wire from the 4-pin connector. However, according the instructions, this wire is optional though. If you need further assistance you can contact AEM’s technical support team directly.

    • @TheTuningSchool
      @TheTuningSchool  5 лет назад

      Hard to say. The Scanner will have channels “disappear” when they are not supported by the ECU you are trying to record them on. This does not extend to analog inputs in any way as far as we know. Make sure you are selecting the wideband from the External Inputs section for the Channel Selector.

    • @wakelifeassociation4993

      Mine was resolved by buying the pro feature..I didn’t know at first you have to buy the mpvi2,pro link and the pro feature..for data logging to work properly

  • @boosted0079
    @boosted0079 3 года назад +2

    Hp tuners really dropped the ball here. This is such a rip off. The pro features aren't even usable. They really should've just allowed people to pay the $40 for the cable link and left it at that. $40 is still more than it costs to stop a serial connection, but they'd make money and customers would be happy. Big fail hp tuners. Don't rip yourself off by paying for those features. Can't use them anyways.

    This does not work as video says and of course you can't call this company what a total rip off for the money you spend. Of course they don't tell there is a A/F gauge that plugs into MPVI2 and it works, again HP tuners is just stealing from people they should know their options.
