    A disc that's been in my bag for 2 years running and always gets left off of these lists... The VIKING DISCS LOKI (storm plastic). It's the beefy-est disc in my bag!

    I actually bag the Core and could not agree more on your description of it. LOVE IT!

    • @McSlobo
      @McSlobo 5 месяцев назад +1

      Core can take more rip than most mids over there but it has a tendency to travel quite a lot towards right although it doesn't seem to turn in headwind. (Magnus effect?) Anyways, it flies a bit further than your average mid, though I don't see much use for it. A "normal" straight mid does all that's needed.

      The best part is that it's not a flippy turn & burn despite of its numbers. It's somewhere between Buzzz and Buzzz SS for me, closer to the latter.

    As soon as I can find a Peach I will get one. Been on the list for a couple of months. I just picked up a Remix Creature. Never had heard of it before. Apparently made by MVP and the same as a Mint Lobster. Great disc for shorter ranger backhands for me.

    Yes! I ran into Reid at Wills Park one day and we talked about how we both love the chameleon core from that lattitude box. Was hoping it would make the list. It is my go to mid but is so hard to find. Doesn't help searching that lattitude sells a bag also called the core and overmold discs from
    MVP often contain the word "core"

    Discmania Tailor is a great slighty stable 4 speed. 4/4/0/1
    I think it would be a good compliment to the peach for anyone looking to have a 4 spd lineup

    I got a Phenom out of a used bin and it was pretty beat to death. So, it's nice to see how one is actually supposed to fly. It felt great. It just wasn't what I thought I was getting with those numbers. Maybe I'll give one another try.

    Great list. I didn’t know most of them. I have the Eagle Wigs. Surprisingly a nice disc. I’ve heard of the Core. The others were new to me. I love the disc others haven’t heard of. Diamonds in the rough.

    I picked up a Latitude 64 Opto Kompass in the used bin for 7 bucks in perfect condition, and it's money. It's what a Star Mako3 is supposed to be (I had one, loved it, but it beat into uselessness in just a few months). The Kompass is dead straight with a touch of fade at the end (5, 5, 0, 1). Great glide, and torque-resistant enough for hard forehands. I've removed 2 other discs since getting this because I stopped needing them. The Opto plastic is cheap for premium and is very durable. I've had an Opto Maul in my bag for a year and it's still a very similar flight to when I got it (have only had the Kompass for a few weeks, which is why I mentioned the other disc). I'm pretty bad at disc golf, but straight shots are easy now out to fairway distance between these two discs and an Opto Pure I just picked up (the only 3 Latitude discs I own). Check out the Opto Kompass.

    • @McSlobo
      @McSlobo 5 месяцев назад

      I wholeheartedly recommend Compass for everyone who's looking for a straight midrange. It is resistant to turn unlike e.g. said Mako3 which flips over in headwind. If you wanna throw straight harder and don't mind a little bit of fade then I'll recommend Truth or Trust, even Method.

    My absolute favourite underrated disc is the Latitude 64 Striker in Gold line plastic. I just don't get how more people aren't throwing them. Also the Lat64 XXX, but it's so overstable I get that some people don't like it BUT the Striker not being more popular than it is just blows my mind 🤯

  • @dblevins343
    @dblevins343 8 месяцев назад +2

    Most underrated disc, all the understable putters. People are sleeping discs like the PA-5 and Spin.
    I have to say, my Peach has disappointed me a bit. It feels more like a -1 instead of a -2 for me. Between it and my Fuse, I feel like I get a bit more flip out of my Fuse. On the other hand, its nowhere near as flippy as my Uplink.
    Hopefully the Detour will fit what Im wanting in the future.

    • @McSlobo
      @McSlobo 5 месяцев назад

      Peach is not flippy but it goes right. It's not -2, more like -1.5. Try Buzzz SS or Clash Cherry for a bit more flippiness. The old DD Lucid Fugitive is there too (the new Supreme is totally different). Then, even more understable, there's Kastaplast Svea. For really adventurous folks I recommend trying Prodigy M Model US (Ace / Dura Flex) but it's super weird. :D

    • @dblevins343
      @dblevins343 5 месяцев назад

      @McSlobo I unfortunately found the Buzz SS (even in ESP FLX) to be more oberstable than even the Peach. With that said, I have found 2 discs that fit this role.
      The MVP Detour has nailed what I expect for a -2 which is awesome.
      Another disc that succeeded here was the Lone Star Bearkat. It's a pinch flippier than the Detour but it's not Uplink levels of flippy either.

    Sooo would it be more underrated if it wasn’t mentioned. Because I have never seen a video of remix discs from Amazon. My brother bags a bunch of molds from them and they are amazing and cheap. The battleship is like an emac truth.

    • @reidausband9392
      @reidausband9392 8 месяцев назад +1
