I used to work at subway back in like 2012-2013.
I remember when sandwiches went from $5 to $7 and I thought “there’s no way in hell people are gonna spend $7 on a sandwich here.”
I just went to subway recently and got a footlong and a six inch sub….NO CHIPS OR DRINK, and it was TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS AFTER TAX.

Regarding young women being single issue voters on abortion, in my experience it's absolutely true and you hit the nail on the head last night with how they argue it. I literally broke up with a girl I had been dating for a year because of an argument about this, where she had no desire for an abortion of her own bit the fear mongering about government controlling women's bodies was the most terrifying thing to her and the goalposts shifted with every step of the way. Safe legal rare wasn't good enough because of every contrived possibility, and she felt so uncomfortable with the idea I didn't like elective no-cause abortions that she demonized me and now I am an enemy of women in our workplace. Side note, don't date in the workplace!

I was kind of the same way. My mom and her husband voted for DT, whereas I voted for Cruz in the 2016 primary. I pretty much just didn't like or trust DT, but I did reluctantly vote for him in the general that year, since the alternative was HRC. Then, after T was president, I saw how much he actually cared about ordinary citizens unlike other politicians who just get in there and basically do whatever they want, forgetting the people who put them there. Now, I love DT and support him and challenge anyone to look at what he actually says and does instead of how he's portrayed. How he's portrayed is usually completely the opposite of the truth.

The family I grew up with are farmers. The guy who runs the farm came back from the iraq war and did not like the proces the government was telling him to set. You can just determine that such superfluous luxuries are out of your budget and not spend your money on them.

Effectively the movie is not the product, it’s the way to get you to their real profit maker. Don’t like it, don’t buy the concession food. They’ll have to lower it or go out of business. Same for gas stations, they don’t make money off gas, they make most of their money off convenience items and junk food. They are usually inflated somewhat. But if we decide they are not allowed to raise prices of their goods then slowly we won’t have any gas stations and I’ll be coming after pro-price control people for having no gas stations. Then when there’s no gas stations for a few months or a year the government will take control of gas for the country and open a few gas stations in certain areas and ration it and tax the mess out of it to force you to buy an electric car. The SS story is insane to me. I am in law enforcement and had my first child in 2022. MAT Leave was 20 weeks but I continued to nurse until 13 months. When I returned to work, I was at a desk so I was able to pump while away from baby. It is not an unlimited supply of milk. It is a supply and demand system. If you want to keep nursing when you return to work, you HAVE to pump. On the government side, your employer HAS TO provide a private place for you to pump. You absolutely can pump before hand and freeze the milk. The milk is good for 6 months. She maybe the only girl but didn’t know what she was talking about it. I froze my milk for my husband to use while I was at work or in case of there was an emergency.

Yes, women do pump their breast milk ahead of time & store it for future use. Every time you nurse the baby does not nurse until every drop is gone. Sometimes you can produce more milk than is actually needed. So the guy was right. Yes, freezing breast milk IS a thing.

I think HCB was referring to moments when a breast feeding woman's breasts are engorged and need to be relieved. She can have some already pumped, but the tank keeps filling up, and at some point still needs to be drained, else it starts leaking out on its own.

He said you can just pump over the weekend. That's not how it works. You have to pump consistently to maintain your supply. So yes, if your baby is drinking pre-pumped milk, you still have to pump at around that time.
