No joke, Beast, this video inspired me to handle my own feelings of being sorry for myself, and to get up and go for a walk to kick my own ass. Much love for the inspiration.
Steve Parker yep your nose is meant to filter some of the dirt and bacteria from the air, when you breathe thru your mouth, your throat filters the dust and bacteria
Shame. That's alot for any ones endocrine system to process. That "sick" feeling is so normal. Just means your hormones are being spent trying to keep you up right and moving.
I have the deepest of respect for you. Wheter you eat a shit ton of eggs, or you walk 60 miles in 28 hours. You have one of the strongest minds ive ever seen. Keep going at it man, I mean it, deepest of respect.
Listen dude, I was in the Marines as an infantryman, and I've got mad respect for you dude... You've got heart and drive and spirit that almost no one ever possesses, and that includes me and the vast majority of men I've known. Keep up really living, keep up the good times, keep being a beast XD I'm proud of you man.
@piggypig Dont you hate losers that call someone a kiss ass for showing respect..I would rather be the guy that shows respect when deserved than a fat pissed off at the world loser that thrives off peoples failure to make yourself feel better. But pretty sure your ass will never be kissed fella because you will never EARN that ass kissing or respect LOSER
I like your respect, but don’t you think maybe that’s a pretty big overstatement? Yeah, what he did is without a doubt torturous, but there’s so much more to having drive and inner strength than doing something like this once.
Had a motorcycle accident December last year and had traumatic surgeries because of it. Your actions, Mr. Beast, gave me the push to walk my first long distance since the accident. Power to you on completing your goals.
Good shit bro! I messed up my knees pretty bad when I was hiking and slipped. It took me about 2 months to be able to walk like I used to and there were times I felt like I was never going to walk normal but I did it. Stay motivated guy.
I've been dreading my 17 mile run today for marathon training... then I came across this video. Rain or shine I'm running today ! Thanks for the motivation man. I needed it.

Holy shit dude. I walked 27 miles in 13 hours. and I couldn't walk for 2 days. I had to go shopping for with my wife at walmart afterwards, and felt weird having to use one of those hover-round cart things. You ARE the beast!
This is easily my favorite video of yours dude. I'm sure most of us have felt exactly how you felt that morning. Wake up perfectly capable of doing anything, yet find ourselves doing absolutely nothing because it's easier that way. End up wallowing around the rest of the day in a guilt fueled, indecisive daze. Only to have bedtime roll around a lot later than it should have due to 0 physical effort in the past 17hrs. And there we lay, in our beds with the tv or computer on. Watching something so we don't face everything. Those days suck. And it's pretty awesome you decided you were going to walk 60 miles instead. Cheers and thanks for the inspiration man!
Dude, I am rooting for you so much. Your videos has actually inspired me to get off my ass and walk more. Not run, not jog, not go to the gym - WALK. It works!
I'm 16 and I have crummy knees too, I get them from my mom. But, me and my mom went on a school field trip to Washington D.C. back when I was in 8th grade, and we did a lot of walking but, we made it. So if I can walk a bunch ton in Washington D.C., I think you can walk 10 miles. I have faith in you buddy! 😊
I did something like this 2 years ago. I was depressed as sh*t cause I lost my mom that year and everthing was falling apart. I just took of walking that morning to a nearest nature park. Walked about 40 or so miles, drinking from taps there, no phone, no food, no electrolytes, sunny day too. After about 14-15 hours of walking, I just slept on grass, sunburnt, knees aching, cramping, feet bleeding. But it was somehow a relief. It's not the walking itself, you think along the way, and when your body hurts that bad, it puts things in perspective.
He's always been inspirational. 1. pushing through devastatingly painful challenges for his viewers and to spite haters. 2. Starting a nationwide event to bring back a product from a huge corporation.
Your channel has always been awesome man. You've always seemed like such an amazingly nice, cool guy to me. Thanks for always making cool stuff that I can enjoy 👊
Also, what you said around 10:15 actually really inspired me, I felt that shit. "Excuses are the nails that build the house of failure." Thanks dude. You're a fucking beast. Your content is so real, and you are a fucking awesome person.
bronchitis is inflammation an infection inside your lungs most common symptoms is coughing up phlegm I'm barely being able to breathe it's very serious just thought I'd drop some science on your ass
2019 here - just saying i saw this and congrats on this achievement and I know your pain!!! Some friends and I walked 62 miles in 24 hour straight for a charity event (Trailwalker).... 6 months after I was able to walk properly again and get the feeling back in my right foot. You are awesome with these non-eating challenges and hope you do more of these in the future!
L. A. BEAST you are seriously my motivation and one of the persons who makes me feel much better. Thanks for never giving up on what you want to achieve.
While you walk, think of Marcus Luttrels lone survivor situation. He had broken his back, bit his tongue in half, swallowed it and threw it up. He crawled for a whole night with a broken back. When he was crawling, he'd draw a line in the sand. And as long as there was blood in his body, he was going to keep going. He would crawl to that line, draw another line, then reach that one. Drawing that line has gotten me through some tough shit.

I'm doing a 50 mile race this Saturday. You got to start somewhere in order to reach that level of the great ultra distance marathoners. I will be on that level sooner than later
Stop lying.... You can't jump in a wheel chair.... Lol jk I'm just messing around. I looked at your channel and you're kicking ass too brother! No excuses! You're just as much of an inspiration as the beast is!
This was amazing. Inspires me to go and workout today for sure. I am tired today, don't feel like it but just gotta push through. These walking vids are always relxaing to watch, but also makes you want to just get up and do something too. Well done Beast.
I did the same thing in the same situation. I did about 40mile walk in a nature park, only drinking from taps there and slept on grass that night. Felt terrible physically but found some peace in my mind. It just happened one morning. I think something ancient in our minds kicks in and we just wanna left everthing behind. Even if it is for a short while.
Here in Scotland we have a route called The West Highland Way, it's 95 miles long, and most people run it for 30 hours straight. A man just completed the full 95 miles in just 14 hours and 20 minutes. Hydrate even if the need seems minimal, look at what happened to Chir Legh during an Ironman. Keep it up.
Kevin, you're my personal hero. I walk often 20-30 km - 12-18 miles - to keep myself in shape, but....... when it comes to videos and achievements like this, it just doesn't cut it? I wish I can channel you as my totem animal for all kind of new records, one of the least being running beer mile under eight minutes? Before that though I'm planning on running 2400-3000m on cooper test - I know these are just dreams at this point, but you motivate me to no end? I always used to say that I'm this and that heavy to do this and that!? I weight something like over 220 pounds - so I'm light weight when compared to you? But I know I WILL AND CAN DO THIS! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Thank you Kevin for all the vids and all the motivation! You showed that us big boys can do it too!?
Not to discourage or be negative as I'm a fan of the La Beast. I truly believe he won't break the record with the way he is doing it. If he has any slight chance of beating the record or just getting across America he needs to train properly for it. He also needs to hire a professional nutritionist, a good coach and he needs to spend money on therapeutic massages. There's a reason why the record has never been broken. It was recently challenged by a guy name Adam Kimble who is a professional and obsessed runner. He only did 2,100 miles before he had to quit. I want La Beast to make it all the way but I think he needs more help than his current process.
I don't think he'll break any records... I did the first 500 miles of the Appalachian Trail this summer and there are crazy ass people out there. There are people that do 50 miles a day for 2300 miles... There are also athletes who do 150 mile races in 72 hours... These people are typically super trim and small too.. I'm 6'3" 200 lbs and there's no way I could come close to the records.. It's like the marathon records, the people that hold them are all Kenyan because they are physically built much more efficiently for long running than Hispanics or Europeans... I guess it's not entirely impossible.. But highly improbable hell beat a record.. That being said, 60 miles is insane and in the end, it's much cooler to just do something that hard!
Beats2Eat those people are people who just naturally love to hike/run/jog and they have probably been doing it most of their life. Which makes a huge difference. Where as LA Beast is just starting so i agree definitely not probable. Who knows miracles do happen every now and then :)
But he is The Beast when it come to eating things that mortal men would die from. He has the mental fortitude to overcome physical pain and a give up attitude. I would back the odds
xwinglover Agreed. You can be the best but with no mental toughness you won't get far if you can't push yourself. LA Beast is very strong mentally. He can definitely go for it easy.
Dagz u totally read that wrong. I wasn't implying that 2,100 isn't an accomplishment but to explain he didn't beat the current record. I agree it is still an amazing accomplishment but it still wasn't enough regardless. I hope you get what I was saying now
Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to (speed)walk as far as possible in 12 hours with only a carton of water, my cellphone, shorts, tshirt, Xero sandals, and 3200 calories strapped to my back, in addition to my eyeglasses! thanks bro!
Good for you bro. There aren't a lot of people that can push themselves like you do. You always push yourself to the max, and i admire that. Keep doing what your doing bro! You inspire a lot of people.
Have you considered wearing ankle weights rather than weight on your back? I walked across America in 1991 for the world summit for children. The walk took 108 days from Sana Monica pier to N.Y. City.
I respect you for trying to do this, but don't try to do the fastest man to walk across America. That only sets up for failure and disappointment. I think what you should focus on is walking across USA in general. Try to do it as fast as you can, but don't burn yourself out trying to do it really quick and then getting burnt out and failing. That's an incredible accomplishment if you would walk across say in 3 months. I wish I had the guts to do something like that but my job and family holding me back. I respect you for it though, and follow your dreams.
Beast, you have inspired me! I am in week 3 of training for my first marathon, 26.2 miles. Just got done running 5 1/2 miles today. You are the fucking shit man, keep it going!!
Great work dude! I challenged a buddy of mine (who lives in a different city) to walk 30 miles in a day. Doing it tomorrow, thanks for the inspiration!
Wonderful. I procrastinate like crazy and often feel pissed at myself for underachieving as a result. Laziness is optional. A great inspirational video. Go Beast!
Nahhh ya’ll could do it, just roll up like 10 joints and go. I walk to my local 7/11 all the time and people be smoking weed in that parking lot all the time. Plus it’s California!
I actually feel proud when I walk to the store instead of taking the bus. Its 3,7 kilometers. I use 30 minutes. ... I am pathetic. You are the best, Beast. To walk that far is insane!
"I'm going to see how long I can walk without stopping." 10 miles "I'm going to chipotle to get off my feet and load up on fuel." = "Im going to be a doctor." 5 years. "I'm a dentist."
Hello, respect to you, man! Where I live (Trinec, Czech Republic), many people are hiking to the extreme, and we have several competitions, always attended by thousands of hikers. For instance, one is similar to yours, which is 100km on time, another is 7 tallest mountains in one go, other is hiking the tallest mountain Lysa Hora up and down for 24 hours straight and so on and so on. I should mention that many of the hikers are actually running the whole thing! Anyway, great job, and if you ever fancy coming our way, the shots and beer will be ready!!!
I can imagine the stories you could tell your kids. They would say man I don't want to walk to work. You'd be like "back in my day I walked across America because I'm a fucking boss now get your ass to work son" hahaha

@@element_47 thanks man I appreciate that!
This was amazing. Inspires me to go and workout today for sure. I am tired today, don't feel like it but just gotta push through. These walking vids are always relxaing to watch, but also makes you want to just get up and do something too. Well done Beast.
I walked about 30 miles one day without planning on it. I was really sad, so I walked until I felt a little better. You continue to inspire Beast!
96.56 kilometers for the rest of the world
you're the real mvp....
Thanks fam
+Grynder Well thats alot more impressive now in my metric mind.
There are two types of countries in the world. Those that use the metric system. And those who have put a man on the moon.
Keep it up.
+Chris Nicholl That sounds incredible. I would love to see a video of that being accomplished. :)
ThatOldBiddy
There's a good number of them on RUclips, if you search "West Highland Way race" you should find them.
Thanks so much Mr. Chris! :)
+ThatOldBiddy and im your daddy
This has got to be one of the most motivating videos I’ve watched. I just love it. Make some more hiking vlogs man!!
I wish you’d do this again beast. Coming from a long time fan
i bet one whiff of them socks will get you high for days, haha xD
Eddie Arafa high? Wtf
You're like the guy who figured out the licking toads thing. What wont you sniff to get high? XD
@@daniplaysoneasy-9454 it wouldnt be too far of a stretch to figure out that frogs have toxins on their skin
Good job bro. Self discipline is the key and you obviously have that shit in the bag.
I hope you get what I was saying now
Great job, Beast! Inspiring!
City.
Now that's some shit
Good bless you
@blkpplcantberacist chinksaintsmart loser
Amazing achievement
Chipotle should sponsor your walk across America quest
I respect you for trying to do this, but don't try to do the fastest man to walk across America. That only sets up for failure and disappointment. I think what you should focus on is walking across USA in general. Try to do it as fast as you can, but don't burn yourself out trying to do it really quick and then getting burnt out and failing. That's an incredible accomplishment if you would walk across say in 3 months. I wish I had the guts to do something like that but my job and family holding me back. I respect you for it though, and follow your dreams.
Tyron Ramsey He may fail thr first time. failing is a step in success. if he doesnt complete it the first time he will do it again until he does
To be the fastest you shouldn't weight more than 70 kg. Google "ultramarathon" and "Yiannis Kouros" (he ran 1000 miles in 10d 10h 30min 36s).
Dude you are truly the LA BEAST! I respect the way you edit and talk to us. Almost feels as if I was watching you live 👍🏼
Almos to the date 3 years later this is recommended. 😂💯🤘🏼
Go Beast!
I'm literally too lazy to turn my Xbox on that's 4 feet from me
Same I'm high as fuck. But in watching this

Bro you do some really off the wall shit. The most random shit ever. And I freakin love it it. Keep doing you, man. You’re a boss.
He is just so genuine I wish he’d quit hurting himself and find a new more sustainable content source.
He should walk across America in 50 seconds.

I actually feel proud when I walk to the store instead of taking the bus. Its 3,7 kilometers. I use 30 minutes. ... I am pathetic. You are the best, Beast. To walk that far is insane!
One of the best LA Beast videos. Very inspiring. Love you man....You had one infantry man give you kudos. Now you have two.
Warning: Doctors hate this man.
Also, this is a story of how my parents got to school.
In honour of your achievement I will do a quarter of what you did. That's a promise. You inspire people, you know? :D

I remember when you was doing this, I was highly impressed. good memories 😏
I can imagine the stories you could tell your kids. They would say man I don't want to walk to work. You'd be like "back in my day I walked across America because I'm a fucking boss now get your ass to work son" hahaha
Am I the only one who laughed when he went back for the camera
