@@andrewlewis7267 Hi Buddy, thanks for your offer, most appreciated. I would like to know the details of the RnR bed and the furniture. Im looking at all the options from self design and build to building flat packs. I also had the same idea with floor tiles as you. Great for creating a bit of a look and relatively inexpensive. Cheers chap. mine is LWB and twin sliding door, bit of a rare one really.
Hi phoebelala I got the flat pack and smev sink from alpine leisure they are very helpful so they could give you advice especially when you have double doors I got the bed from ebay, camperdiy it is very good quality and prompt delivery and I got the carpet tiles from B Q I hope that helps you, kindregards Lewi
Nice conversion. Good to see you put in insulation. Did you buy the furniture as a kit? I converted my 2014 Renault Trafic LWB van into a Touring Van. I have started making videos for RUclips. If you are going to watch it I will appreciate comments from a fellow van converter. It is nice to see other people's ideas. Enjoy using the campervan..
Hi yes the furniture come as a flat pack from alpine leisure it comes with the sink and hob and is pre cut at the moment I'm cycling across Spain when I get back I will start watching your channel kindregards andrew
Hi Jason the rock n roll bed is so important to the build in the small van I store alot under the bed and can obtain it from inside the van good luck with the build, Andrew
Nice, just needed the gas bottle in a special airtight cupboard with a floor hole in case it leaks? Having it in and open cupboard with electric in there is not a good idea?
Hey I don’t know if you can help but I’ve got the same van that I’m converting to! How do I remove the cargo area light or change it to a different light and so that it doesn’t turn on wen I open the doors, only to come on if I choose. Hopefully u can help x
Hi Healey the lights I used have built in switches and I wired them to my auxiliary battery and through my fuse box so I can switch them on manually I isolated the wiring from the doors so it doesn't drain the main battery I hope that helps you
andrew lewis thanks for replying :) How do you isolate the wiring? I saw a video on a man disconnecting the wire and he just unplugged the light wire from the main cable. I presume that’s fine?
Hi Haley yes just disconnect the intior light and tape it out of the way all my lights inside run off the auxiliary battery so I don't worry about the main battery discharging hope that helps, kindregards Lewi
Hi Paul I kept the build just under 2000 pounds that includes solar panel and battery and TV and satellite I just shopped around on ebay and amazon the kitchen unit is from alpine leisure, I hope that helps you, andrew
Good to see the Stages of the Build. I would not know where to Start

What is the cage/bars behind the drivers seat called? Is this a standard option in vans without cab walls?
Hi the cage bar for the driver seat is standard if you don't have a bulkhead it was in the van when I purchased it
Hi was this mpv? I need the trim pannels on the b pillar and roof. My van had a bulk head annoyingly so the trim is missing on the edge 😔
Thanks for the video, Andrew. Nice conversion. Is this the SWB or LWB van? Have a nice day.
Hi the van is a short wheel base
