    I practically saw almost all the leading videos on this topic, which were like 50 mins, 30 mins each...
    Kudos to you sir for finishing my topic in 3 minutes!
    why dont you come teach physics at my school?😂

    The velocities can have opposite signs too. Just be sure to always take the difference of them. So you might be subtracting a negative number if they're advancing towards one another in which case they would add.

    Isn't it perfectly elastic if e=1 and perfectly inelastic if e=0 and two bodies move together at the same velocity if the collision is perfectly inelastic?...

    • @saulremi
      @saulremi  5 лет назад

      Correct

    • @adityamishra8309
      @adityamishra8309 5 лет назад

      If its an oblique inelastic collision , will the bodies stick?

  • @thulisisizweprominent2585
    @thulisisizweprominent2585 5 лет назад

    Does this has to do with the mass of the two objects?

  • @est9949
    @est9949 4 года назад +1

    Could you include an example of how this is used?

    • @manaspradhan8041
      @manaspradhan8041 3 года назад

      try using it in any basic collision problem. like "two balls of masses m and 2m approach each other with velocity v, what will be their velocities after the collision."

    do both initial velocities have to be positive in order for this to work? or can the velocities have opposite signs?

      A ball of mass M moving at a speed V makes a head on collision with an identical ball at rest. The kinetic energy of the balls after collision is 3/4 of original. Find the coefficient of restitution
