Most of our lakes have Stewards at the launches that check our boats , kayaks etc to help reduce the spread of invasive weeds. They take a Quick Look at your vessel, ask you a few questions and send you on your way. Many of the ponds I fish are just choked with weeds so I wholeheartedly support this program. Good stuff Dale .

Oh thank you so very much for the kind words, Yes sir we dont have stewards here, however, One year many years ago, My dad and I hauled a Skeeter bass boat with us to Colorado to fish some of the lakes in the heat of the summer, which at elevation meant we fished in cooler weather. They checked the boats there at the boat ramp, both launching and made sure you had drain plugs pulled before you left the ramp to put the water from live wells or any in the boat back into the lake. I thought that was interesting as well.
Thank you kind sir and have a blessed week.
      Dale
