Thanks so much for these videos! I think I’m learning as much from your attitude as your techniques! Wish I’d heard you say, “ I think it’s cute when you try to fix me,” when I was young. I could have used that wisdom.
Just found out about all the videos you’re posting on YT. Have been PARALYZED by the insanity & unable to leave my own bedroom (pre-existing mental struggles made indescribably worse)! Please let me know when & how to see these live! You’ve given me the courage to try to get back out to my art space! A “Thank you” doesn’t express my gratitude for what you’re doing for me & I’m sure, many like me!
Lori Kolas you can watch her live on Facebook, twice per week. Go to Art of dina Wakley , she posts live at 1pm est twice a week ! It’s been a god send for me too. It has helped with my anxiety around the lockdown 🥰
Your blackberry color is my favorite purple paint ever. Purple is my favorite color & the one you’ve made has the perfect tone. (In my opinion) Thank you for still teaching! 😁💜💜💜
I love love love your final pages & the experiments at your big journal!!!😍😍😍 I need to try my alpha masks too, glad i got them early! 🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤ And oooh dear Dina, you should have seen the journey of the 'i' that you lost! It initially fell on the left page of your journal but it was on the black part of the page so you couldn't see it as it was black on black (i wanted to tell you but i was seeing it on the replay!), then you placed the edge of the acrylic block on it, when you were forming the word 'love' and when you turned the acrylic block in order to stamp, the traveling 'i' flew at the right side of your desc over the paint bottle where you finally found it! I'm so glad you found it!!! 😃😃😃🤗🤗🤗
For anyone interested, I've seen a 'cleaning' method for the foam alphabets to simply stamp off onto scratch paper until the ink/paint is more or less gone.
Really liked the burlap look. Esp the page underneath. Think I need a few loose pieces of burlap. To color through and to print with. A texture two-fer. Loved the name stories. I used to get you and Dyan Reavely mixed up, kept thinking I'd heard wrong or misremembered. Finally realized you are Two people. In fairness to me, you both deal in similar crafts and products and I was very new to art journaling. Also kept wondering who that Tim Holtz guy was because the name on the product was so clearly , (to me anyway) Jim.!!!
Love your honesty, sense of humour and especially your artwork and products 🙂
You always seem to have me chuckling. Thx!

Love your work, and would definitely love to see other masks

Loved this video, gave me a lot of ideas for how to use your alpha stencils/masks. Thank you Dina!
