He's podiumed at some of the most iconic downhill and freeride events known to mountain biking, and yet, Brendan Fairclough still comes out swinging each year at Red Bull Rampage.
Seeking redemption, Brendog kept his line to the far right of the mountain which features The Rock and a Canyon Gap, a line shared in parts with the late Jordie Lunn. Brendan's smooth execution of trickery and tribute earnt him 4th place this year on the mountain.

I personally think his line/run was the most “Rampage” to me....a little more raw and not over built lines. Not to take away from anyone else because they are all amazing but his was my favorite.

Its not even a discussion with almost anyone who knows freeride Mtbing that he won this going away. Not even close, if only Brendog was Canadian he would have walked away with competition. Judging and judges need to be cleaned out with industrial solvents and a powerwasher before competition tomorrow.

That was the best FREERIDE of this Rampage, which should have given Brendog a win, I wish the judges hadn't forgotten this was NOT a SLOPESTYLE contest.... 😕

@@dumwee well - it is still a slope style contest - the judges only count the number of bar-spins and opposite Cash-rolls, while THE RISK FACTOR has not yet found its way to BEING quantified and also TRANSLATED INTO POINTS.
