This brings back memories. I had a 88 CRX with a B18A1 that made 718HP. Carbon fiber splitter, front bumper, fenders, over fenders, doors, door cards, seats, dash, center console, rear over fenders, hatch, rear bumper, diffuser and a drag wing. All the weight I took off for the carbon fiber I put back in it with 2-12" Audiobahn Flame Q's, 2-1,500 watt amps and 2-2 farad capacitors and 2 100 amp alternators. Fun car and fast as hell till I totalled it and sold the engine and stereo equipment.
@@honestbuiltperformance1819 It broke an axle on the outer CV joint at the race track at 120MPH and just destroyed the control arm and sent me into the wall.
@PFISpeed Jamie those are Integra DC gauges. I had that whole dash in my 1st CRX. Considering doing that conversion again cause of how good those gauges are
@@Killerbeege when I did my first B swap I still had the stock d series gauges I would take people for rides and they would freak out when I would shift 2500rpm over redline but that's when the B16 was breathing!!!!
I miss my Crx's had a '87 si, 90 hf/Si, and another '91 Si dohc ZC swapped. I loved every one of them and put so much money into them just to turn around and only sell them for under 2500. Now im on my second 4th gen prelude vtec, and same feeling for them as the Rex's

Super strong well-built ripper! Always a few issues when each car goes under the microscope of the dyno, but PFI figures it out and turns every car into a monster! 🙌

Less boost and better numbers could be obtainable with a more efficient turbo manifold. The mini ram manifold being used is super restrictive and generate aclit of back pressure. Very clean CRX build though👍
Those test pulls the owner was doing at the very end, for how short he was shifting, he was probably only around 350hp max.. wasn't even into the big table yet.
I've got a 1991 CRX DX, with factory AC and 1.5L , 5 speed manual .. original clutch , with 344K miles on it. Solid AZ ... no rust whatever, and will still go 115 MPH in 5th gear . The AC still works ... Teal green. I've babied it for the 18 years I've owned it... since 2005.......What do you think it's worth????? I saw an SI model on bring a trailer that went for 21K........

My snap on spark plug socket has rubber they have never fallen out and have also never cracked a ceramic like magnets can

250 NA is all I am looking for maybe 300 + plus on E85 and maybe an extra Nitrous squeeze mixed with AWD is all you need on these 1900 LB CRXs.

The gauge is a dc2 gauge specifically GSR
