Suzanne - your Botanical Beauties is turning out very beautifully!! My opinion is that you should not compare yours to someone else’s, especially because they are such different styles!! Many people have followed your design and style because it is a great idea and is so beautiful! Let the fushias sit for now and you can finish them later is you want or maybe look for a fabric with fushias on it to put there. As far as the Roxy challenge, I’m sure it will be amazing, but I’m not going to be able to follow along with them this time as I have started so many things that I need to finish and have ornaments I’m doing for Christmas. Can’t do it all.
As well - it’s always good to watch you when you relax and just visit with us. Put one of us in your mind as the friend you are talking to while you tape - and just tell us what you are doing and anything else you want to say. I’ll try to respond to you so you can think of new things to say 😍😍. You are a beautiful wonderful woman who has sooooo much to contribute - just keep doing your own thing! ❤️💗❤️

Lovely work. Love how your tablecloth is coming together. I’ve done my flowers embroidered them but still have to place on table cloth, yep I am starting to get to the eekk moment so need to sit down and work out how this is going to come together, still having fun stitching flowers. U. Want on my table at Christmas so better get myself in order. Yep fabric must come out. Aww going to add in all your little critters so they are pecking through the flowers already have birds and butterflies all fussycut it’s just the background fabrics. Should have done what you did and just got in and stitched each month. Oh well wonderful watch and I do love how the lace is used to hide rough edges or just to accents colours. See I am learning so much this is why I haven’t started. lol

I didn't know what I was doing at the start of the project, so the first flower, pansy, is not my favourite! As with quilting, we can't LOVE every aspect of what we make. Maybe leave the fuchsias for awhile or until the end. By then, hopefully, you won't have the bad connotations with June and take a fresh view of the flower. Keep going and hope you get your sewjo back soon ❤

I love how you are doing this project, Susanna. I like and admire the way Corrine’s doing hers but I can’t draw to save myself so hers always seems out of reach to me, but I could cut, collage and embellish as you are so yours is achievable for me. I’d love to hear more about your family and growing up in a new country. Did you speak Dutch at home? I once met (through work) a woman who had been born in Australia but had moved to the Netherlands as a child - so the opposite to you. 🌹🧀🇳🇱🇦🇺
