Hi Andrew! I think you might be confused regarding Mormons wanting their own law. The articles of faith, written in 1842, says ‘We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.’
@@bearsunited5797 - I'm not really an expert, and cant speak to Andrews exact intent but I imagine he was referring to places like Utah where the laws are quite different because of the LDS influence (I went to a bar once and couldn't see any drinks!) and a quick google explains; "Mormons introduced a mix of divine law, natural law, state and federal laws, and Mormon practices to the early laws of Utah. Mormons relied on Mormon Church institutions for civil government for many years"
Andrew love u to interview (Caleb Maupin) he an American journalist apparently trump favourite journalist he forming a new movement very educated and interesting
As a very Patriotic American i too am feeling that dream, but i sincerely do not know where one can hide from this disease that is taking over the Western World.
Andrew, we are in a position, as a country, where Sadiq Khan is being knighted. If that doesn't ring out as a national bell of emergency, i don't know what will.
Hopefully, people will stop telling people what they want to hear, and remove themselves from certain ideologies and echo chambers… think realistically and rationally..
Tennant, Fry, most of Hollywood, many of todays music idiots, all of GMB, Lorraine, BBC, much of so called comedians who are as funny as prostrate cancer & so on!
It is such a waste because David used to be one of my favorite actors. His Dr Who is the best. I think we are seeing the effects of him being stuck in lockdown with his very woke wife - he even credits her with "opening his eyes".
I try not to let actors’ opinions affect my viewing but… so glad I watched “Good Omens” before I heard him speak out. For right now I can’t watch anything he’s in. I’ll get passed that at some point (cuz frankly a-lot of celebs are, sadly, virtual signaling) but for now… he’s pissing me off just to look at him!
Same he's got no right to tell average people what to do and believe. And definitely doesn't have the right to tell people how to raise their children.
looking over my own childhood and those of all my ex students and friends and their kids, I feel that most children go through a time or several times in their lives that they want to be some one else or even change sex. It is the magical thinking of youth. If you just let them grow up and not try to push or pull them in anyway, they will sort themselves out.
When I was 12 me and my mate used to identify as bulls and put our fingers as horns and ram each other whenever we passed in the corridors. God I couldn’t imagine being a youth in this day and age and I’m only 25
💯💯💯 Its an absolutely well known and wholely accepted phase of early childhood between 3 and 7 ish when children experiment with pretending to be the opposite sex. My daughter had multiple alter egos she would act out at these ages and had names and outfits for her alter characters. I allowed it completely. She phased it out by the time she was 8 or 9 and she settled 😊. Don't over react to a normal phase and they won't over react or get a complex. If you freak out..... your child will.
Same here. Same thing. I remember I used to count myself as a girl when I was about 13, 14. As a boy and then a man, being friends with men, or even being an aspiring man means competition. Acting more feminine, or being friends with mostly girls is a way of avoiding that. It’s also a way of sneaking in like a fox, if you’re straight.
It's not the fact that Lily Philips is doing what she's doing that is the problem imo: it's that she cried about it and then planned not only to repeat it but to times it by 10. Red flags for anyone with eyes to see. And I don't agree that we all cry after a hard day's work.
from what i gather, she wasnt crying about what she was doing, just that the men doing it to her didnt really get a proper chance to connect, she was just chewing through them and it made her sad on their behalf, if she truly regretted it, she wouldnt be lining up the same but x10 next time
Yep, and I believe one of them also took their own life.. so many terrible scandals are swept under rugs and we only seem to care when scandals about celebrities come up instead of the average Joe who's just trying to get by in this world
@@RiverraverNope - the vast majority of people could not care less about “celebrities” and their scandals. We just have it rammed down our throats 24/7 by the legacy media, in order to distract from much more serious issues which they want the majority to miss.
Someone did a good breakdown of a Lily Philips interview. Its clear she started to disassociate not even half way through and was clearly trying not to cry when interviewed after. So the case can be made that it was self harm to debase and traumatize oneself for clicks and clout. Not worth it.
Same with the tranzzz in a way, they want attention at the end of the day no matter the price. I dread the day Lily unleashes a documentary on how she was a victim of social media..
exactly, she's clearly not well, her mother and father are supporting their cash cow daughter prostituting herself. Awful. Her interview demonstrated all the signs of someone who had gone through a traumatic experience. The men taking part are scummy.
Yes very canny observation. You are right. The kids of famous celebrities feel less than or as you say are in the shadow of their parents' success and achievements. So if they embrace the tranzzz they are making themselves feel like they have achieved something special by their own merits.
More often it seems to be parents "converting" them. It takes quite some narcissism to become a celebrity. So it's kind of a "look at us" act, what they do to their kids.
Thats what I’ve been thinking. Most of these celebs’ kids that are claiming they are trans are a cry for attention. Some like Chaz Bono are prob genuine but this latest troubling “crop” is extremely questionable.
Tho there’s some exceptions like the oldest daughter of Sharon and Ozzie avoids the spotlight yes when she was a child she did appear in the behind the scenes video of a Ozzie concert but as soon as the camera went inside their house she moved out and has mostly kept to that only occasionally seen by the public with her parents and brother and sister and other family members.
I don't know. He seems to me to be a bit obsessed with LGBTQ stuff. I gather he has one of those rainbow coloured, "You will have to go through me" t-shirts and although I've not seen it myself, someone in a comment section said his son - who Tennant claims is non-binary - has a t-shirt with the words "Let's get one thing straight - I'm not". Awful - this is a 10yr old kid who I simply do not believe went to his parents a couple of years ago and told them he was non-binary. Kids of that age tend not to spend their time focusing on their gender identity and researching what their own might be. An adult has done this. Just my best guess but, as I said, I think Tennant is a little over-focused on LGBTQ stuff and Tennant Jnr, being one of five siblings vying for parental attention, may be saying what he thinks will get approval from his dad.
Who do you trust to define your boundaries when it comes to sex? And who should decide your punishment if you are accused of transgressing those boundaries? What about for your son or daughter?
Who would have thought that Pitt and Jolie would actually do the right thing and let their child who acted like a boy for years do her own thing without interference or focusing on it. She had all her reasons for acting like that and has blossomed into a beautiful young lady in her own time. Childhood is not a time to make definite decisions it is to experiment and come out fully formed when an adult whatever that is then.
Yes! The Jolie -Pitt family let their daughter express herself, but did not publicly assign her a trans/NB label like the Tennants have done. She was free to dress as she liked, and grow and develop naturally, and explore different sides of her personality and style, like all young people like to do. David and his wife are so short sighted to publicly assign their child the way in which they have done. Ironically, they have actually boxed the kid in more so than if he wasn't labelled.
@@chatterbox-y8k Considering an awful lot who transition young become suicidal as they NEVER understand the full implications of their/ the state's/ parents actions.
Making people laugh is a long practised act of charity. It provides relief on a mass scale. It can lift entire countries. Comedy is not a political boxing ring, as that would affect the first part of the sentence. Well it has happened. Nobodys laughing AND somehow all comedians have been shoved into a political pigeonhole!
I never liked The Office, it was too cringe for me. But Ricky Gervais at the golden globes is one of the funniest things I have ever seen, and I do have DVD's of some of his one man stand-ups. other than Boyle those others are "Who?".
To have effective immigration you have to make you country appealing to the people you want in your country , any educated high value people do not see Britain as appealing anymore
London is still a pull amongst the highest value members of society, I know this for certain. To send their kids here, they will buy and refurbish properties with a total finished cost being £40M. When the kids finish their education, they sell the property.
@@ChondroManStrangely plenty of people do from third world countries and first world. I suppose it’s partly because the country invented 75% of all major inventions and innovation, produces more wealth than anywhere other than the states and has more culture than anywhere else.
Some of what Leo says is sensible, but other times you feel like hes just doing a stand up routine to one person here. He completely oversimplifies things. Body autonomy, for example. Yes of course people should be in charge of their own bodies but we have to have some social and personal standards otherwise society falls apart. What Lily Philips is doing is frankly awful, as are the men involved in it. This is how far we have sunk that these are the role models young girls look up to? She is literally just working in the oldest profession but in a different guise. I would consider to have failed as a parent if this was my daughter.
Possibly the Greatest Living Englishman. Kearse has disgraced himself though: Stewart Lee a "talented comedian" ??? The worst of worst the smug, slimy, spiteful Guardianista subsitutes for a (clap don't laugh) comedian.
A parent will do anything to help their child. Even ruin their child's life. This is why it is dangerous for children of cult members. For all the (justified) disgust for Tennant, remember this: the journey to accepting what he has done is tantamount to admitting to torturing his own offspring. If he is able to make even one step towards it, he will need more help than people realize.
He should have chosen a different name than the old fashioned Wilfred for a son or Olive for a daugher (one is a character in Doctor Who, the other is associated with the screaming girlriend of Popeye the sailor). Something lame and "more normal" would be better for a child developing into the emotional wreck of an "unsure teenager". Just try the Italian manga-style W.I.T.C.H. of 5 girls representing the 5 elements of the Platonic geometrical bodies. Will is the ginger energy representation (her full name being Wilhelmine) later a little brother is added, also nicknamed Will. A name for both sexes, like Kim, Chris (Kiki), Alex and other shortened versions of old fashioned names...
Transphobic opinion simply indicates the existence of assholes, it in no way justifies any attack on transpeople. NO anti-trans propaganda has ever outlined exactly what is wrong with being transexual? It cannot make a logical case that there is a 'problem'.
First of all, don't lump feminists together as if they are a single group. There are many types of feminism with diverse thought within them. And since this Lily Phillips reportedly burst into tears afterwards, there is reason to believe this women is self-harming. Of course, she has the right to self-harm if she wants to but it doesn't absolve the people who help her do it of any moral responsibility.
@@zepelinda78 pregnany itself is self harm also. Many women experience negative life lasting physical effects. Pregnancy or termination, they are both an exchange. One gets you a baby other gets you more free life. Both cost you something physical on your body.
@@zepelinda78 Maybe because the overwhelming emotion experienced by women who have had an abortion is relief. It needs more evidence that it's self-harm than your opinion that it is.

the problem is immigration without assimilation. If you were to move to say south korea or japan you would be expected to assimilate and take on korean/japanese culture and traditions to some degree and you would be heavily frowned upon by not only the locals but people from other countries as well yet people come to england or the u.s and we are expected to assimilate and build around them instead. It’s all backwards.
What, just like when "Brit ex-pats" emigrate to the Costa Blanca? Just like when "Brit ex-pats" emigrate to a tiny village in Normandy? Did "Brit ex-pats" start to don body paint and throw boomerangs when they took over Australia? Did "Brit ex-pats" learn the local language and take to the local cuisine when they took Burmah? "Brits" never assimilate when they move abroad, and really don't care if that's frowned upon. Then, people like you think people coming here should somehow be completely different to that and seamlessly blend in. Is that not a perfect example of hypocrisy and double standards? Why should they assimilate?
Cultural assimilation doesn't change your ethnicity. Korea and Japan are ethnostates. England is the English ethnostate. Imitating English culture doesn't make you English.
@ uhh.. yeah.. i didn’t say it would ???you don’t need to be ethnically japanese to live in japan, become a citizen and take on/participate in that culture.. Becoming an english citizen makes you english. My mother is from mexico but she’s lived most of her life as an American citizen so she’s american. I have no problem with legal immigration but i do have a problem with people moving to a new country and trying to force its government and citizens to comply with their backwards third world religions and customs.
@@elfangel94 There's so such thing as an English citizen, FYI. Your mother and you are still ethnically Mexican regardless of what your passports say. You have an entirely different history than those of us who descended from the settlers, even though you copy our language and culture. If all the millions of Mexicans who came here went to Japan instead, it certainly wouldn't be Japan anymore, regardless of "assimilation".
@@elfangel94 Getting a UK passport doesnt change you at all, its just a document. It certainly wouldnt make you "english". "American" is not an ethnicity (but theyll react to not being majority european anymore, as well). And immigration is quickly becoming a problem in Japan as well. Foreigners can live in another country of course, if they keep their head down, but large numbers will always be trouble. I advice you to not turn up in Japan and claim that youre "just as japanese as them" unless you want to be hated or at best thought weird. You dont even realize how disrespectful that is?
Her mother is her manager concider there may very well have been SA in her childhood, perhaps by those who she should have been able to trust the most , yes you cant stop her doing what she wants but jesus something dark has happened to her grooming or brought up by a narcissist mother who didnt even make sure every man was screened for diseases absolutely heartbreaking
Oh no poor her. I wonder if you’d be so compassionate if it was a man in his 20’s sleeping with hundreds of teenage girls for money and fame? Of course not, that would be exploitation and grossly immoral. Doubles standards are the only standards for feminists.
Ah another woman believing everything they are told and then start joining up dots that are not there. 1) it is totally normal for a member of the family to be the manager or financial director of a small business. Totally normal. 2) unless Lily has confided in you that she has been abused, all you are doing is gossiping, you are spitting on genuine survivors and making out that survivors of childhood sexual abuse are pathetic and weak whereas the reality is survivors are incredibly strong people. 3) you have been played. Lily is a fantastic and smart business woman. She chose the wrong product but she knows exactly what she is doing when it comes to advertising. Her fake crying, her “disassociation “ that she knew would trigger all the Women Are Victims Always women - Lily edited these videos herself. You have been played. You are part of the marketing campaign. Wake up. And if you do need help for anything that you may have been through, do get the help. For you to assume abuse instead of Lily is cracking jokes, setting The Women Of Twitter up etc, you need to stop seeing abuse everywhere you look and get whatever help you need.
Yeah Tommy! I got chatting to some guys in a pub ~ 10 years ago, they quoted him, I immediately labelled them as racist cnuts, coz that was the common consensus. In the last year I decided that my opinion and interpretation of facts was more important. In his interviews and verbatim quotes ( Not the maliciously edited ones) He is saying what many people in this country believe, for all the logical reasons. But the people in authority don't even want to discuss this, hence him being arrested for being T. Robinson. Re: The police You don't threaten autistic children with death for silly immature, possibly misunderstanding social norms that are medieval, and get a get out of Jail card! The police should not coerce people into apologizing to backward aholes because they are Muslim!
I went to see Leo over the Covid period and it still stands as the best comedy experience I've had in at least 15 years. I had lost sight at how 'woke' comedy had obliterated the comedy part; Leo just unleashed - it was brilliant. Best part is, it was FREE. He stood at the door on the way out and encouraged people to give what they could, with no expectations. An absolute gent and a treasure to comedy / beautifully sarcastic based political commentary.
Love that Leo picked Jerry Sadowitz - my favourite comedian of the 90s (one of my friends was a contestant on his People vs Jerry Sadowitz show circa 1999 and we put it on the big screen in the bar where I worked at the time. Good memories). Jerry’s Edinburgh Fringe cancellation from a couple of years back was outrageous- every knows that Jerry plays a misanthropic character, his audience paid to see that misanthropic character yet some little wokescold ticket collector got the second (of only 2 shows) cancelled because they didn’t want to work in a venue that hosted an offensive comedian. Why the venue didn’t tell the ticket collector to eff off is beyond me.
Mine too...😂 He played The Queens Hall the year after 2 nights only 😢and was fkn hilarious! He kept his FAKE willy in his pants, tho! Tennant is a narcissistic nutjob!!!
My reply has been cancelled...must be because I wrote that he never got his FAKE willy oot...that`s why HE was cancelled...Due tae a wee snowflake staff member thinking it was REAL!!! He was fkn brilliant the next year at The Queens Hall! He`s the best and VERY tame these days!!!
My 2nd reply has now been cancelled 😂😂😂...daein a Jerry Sadowitz in RUclips terms! Yes, he's the best 👌🏻 he played the queen's hall the following year and was fkn brilliant! He's very tame ( well! ) in comparison tae the 90s! Hopefully, he'll be back up this summer 🫰🏻🏴🫰🏻
These teachers love to act all special and overcaring because they want to elevate themselves to other staff. I've worked with them, and it's bloody annoying.
Does Lily Philips have a brother? If so, what does he think? Sad her Dad is ok with what she's doing. That says a lot about their Father/Daughter relationship. 😮
Exactly, when you get the polio vaccine, you don't get polio, not a less awful polio that leaves you only partially paralysed. I got two vaccines and still got COVID at least 3 times
Well it was a vaccine on the tail end the problem was the front end was a gene therapy. It still relies on your natural immune system to be trained on a viral element but that element was made by forcing your cellular machinery to generate it.
Not to mention zero long term testing. I'm convinced it's harmed a lot of people especially the az vaccine. I'd love to see the genuine figures on how many of our top politicians and royals were actually fully vaxxed and with what?
Tolerance goes both ways - if you are doing something that flies in the face of what 99% of society believes as normal YOU have to tolerate this fact. On the whole society is very tolerant, but this does not extend to acceptance or affirmation of whatever queer practise you happen to decide is for you.
Yes there WERE a lot of us... just like there WERE a lot of us who loved Bill Cosby, Rolf Harris, Gary Glitter etc. Then we found out who they really were.
I really loved David Tennant. Then he started a crusade against women. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 6 years old. Its no luxury. Ive been treated badly my entire life because of it. I always hid it, thought i did well, but there have been people who knew right away. That hurts, so much. As a kid i struggled to focus in class, the harder i tried the less i learnt. So i got bad grades. I retook my english and maths GCSEs when i was 29. I loved it, got B+ in English and B- in maths. It causes issues at work too. My supervisor gave me a list of everything i do wrong, everything on the list are things ive no control over. Though ive tried harder to fix it. But i thought i was doing really well, it really bashes your confidence when people point out your short comings.
A good manger would have tried to help you overcome what he regarded as shortcomings but a lot of "managers" are promoted way beyond their capability and cannot manage an ant farm
I know... When it got to that part at the beginning it made me fairly sad. I'm married to someone with bad ADHD and while I'm sure there are people online claiming things for attention doesn't mean it's all fake... I love my husband very much and it made me sad and upset because I feel for the people who aren't taken seriously. All of the things you've mentioned are stuff I see/heard from him too. ;'( It's a real thing for people to struggle with..
@TheMysticJay it was quite the insult. But I do understand where their coming from. It's the people who teach their kids that they can excuse their behaviour. I've only done that once as an adult. My supervisor gave me a run down of things I was doing wrong at work. I explained again how I literally cannot help those things but I'll try better. Which I do. But I was so upset because it's the 4th time I've had to explain. I ended up telling my manager
Woody Allen must have been paraphrasing - the original quote is from the writer, Cyril Connolly - 'The greatest enemy of Art, is the pram in the hall.'
Leo, your comment on adhd, autism and bipolar disorder was such an ignorant and utterly bellendish thing to say. Were you just trying to be a "funny" comedian, or you do you genuinely think that they don't exist?
@@danejames7098 Give it another watch. He literally says that there was no ADHD in the Soviet Union. If he didn't mean it that way then he should clarify that. If it was a joke, it was a shite one. Maybe his humour is wasted on me.
I was the only girl with 3 brothers, not once did I ever think I wish I was a boy. 6 kids 17 grandkids and 4 great grand kids later I know I’m a woman and am glad I am🏴🇬🇧
Absolutely love Leo. And I love how every time he does one of these political podcasts, everyone's cussing like sailors by the end of it, he even had the NCF team effing and blinding! 😂
One of the best interviews because it's just two guys having a chat like friends in a pub. And Leo brings out Andrews funny side, while Andrew, keeping it on track, brings out Leo's serious points.
I’m an American who has visited the UK many times. I lived in Europe for almost 20 years and enjoyed English speaking UK television. I am now afraid to visit the UK and would never move there.
Anyone who has a 'Trans child' is guilty of abuse. If a child goes through this phase fair enough. Let them go through the phase and see how they feel as an adult - WHEN THEY CAN MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE. Until then YOU ARE ABUSING THEM if you encourage ANY change based on this - END OF
Puberty is a rough time for girls. Many girls feel for the first time the social vulnerability based on the changes. Being percieved as neutral or masculine is often a way of avoiding these uncomfortable changes. Also, it is often a time when relationships with fathers are strained.
I really hope I'm wrong but even islf a couple of hundred kids have been socially transition the led down the medical patient for life by parents who "want" or thought a "trans kid" is just the thing to give them credibility is beyond disturbing. Do they not just want their kids to be happy? "He always liked Hello Kitty so we chemically castrated then so she could live her truth" Hopefully I'm just a paranoid old man who is worrying about nothing but I do feel after going down the gender rabbit hole over the last few months, it's an incredibly sinister movement. Not the useful idiots but the academic, healthcare and polirical side seen to be frankly terrifying. Add on the capture of media and corporations and complete lack of sensible robust debate is truly insane.
Personally, I do think in most if not all cases their intentions are oriented correctly. They do want the best for their child and certain parts of society that they find themselves in say that transition is the way to do that. Hypothetically if you lived in a place where everyone was saying that bananas would kill you at age 30 you'd probably keep your kids from eating them at all costs. Your intentions are correct but your view of reality is not and you aren't critical enough to change it in the face of all the support those ideals get in this scenario. I think many people forget or never knew in the first place that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I do think there is responsibility on the parents end but I have trouble placing all of it on their shoulders when institutions and public bodies are putting pressure on them and manipulating them emotionally to believe this garbage. These institutions and bodies are intended to be a defense against pernicious ideals but as I've already said intentions don't always equate to reality. Ultimately we need a society that says "question" not one that says "accept".
This isn't an argument for a psychiatric hold on Lilly Phillips but she was clearly not fine in the documentary about the day she got "ran through" by 100 men. It's amazing that anyone could watch that and say she seemed fine afterwards.
I am sorry to think that someone is well who is having sex with a 100 men is insane. To devalue sex as a transaction for publicity is terrible and now woman who is happy with her life and body would do anything like that. I think it is quite arrogant and even worse think that is a "hard day's work" I am mazed that Andrew did not push back on that. To constantly attack Julie Bindel ? The issue of prostitution is a little bit more nuanced then what this person has been alluding too. Very disappointed in the show.
Julie Bindel tries her best to control women to be what she thinks women should be. I am a Christian. But I accept that not everyone is and people can decide to live their life their best way they see fit. Julie is so patronising to women, and often says things like women don’t really understand what they are doing or saying and she goes to inform them or correct them. She is incredibly misogynistic, just in a feminist guise. Very controlling person who sees especially working class women as stupid and in need of her help. I don’t think Lily is doing a fantastic thing but it is her life and her decision. Lily is much smarter than people think and she is 100% in control. People believe the fake crying and carefully chosen words Lily uses to trigger the Women of Twitter into screeching her free advertising.
11:15 ive been arguing this for years, and it often infuriates people. I think because it rings true. Im sure "mental illness" existed throughout history. But not like this. People didnt have the luxury of ruminating about how sad they are and how bad their life is when they'll d1e if they dont go out and work right now. Notixe too that "depression" seems to mainly affect the spoiled demographics. Outside rare, understandable phases in life like passing of loved ones, long term depression is a symptom, not a disease you can medicate away. You cant run away from yourself...
We also have a much higher burden of lifestyle diseases… UPF diets, endocrine disruptors, blue light exposure, sedentary lifestyles, poor sleep patterns - all things that contribute heavily to a dysregulated nervous system
@oldkingcrow777 mental illness has always existed but they didn't have names like today. Joan of Arc was reveared, but today her voices would make her schizophrenic. People who couldn't concentrate were idiots, today are adhd. We have medications, then they locked people away in institutions and attics.
Leo is highlighting that the vast majority of activists aren't principled self serving. They're just using the principle because being selfish is less defensible.
This was a great chat, serious at times, funny very often with freedom of banter. Oh, such a simple concept yet rare in these alleged enlightened times. Keep the funny coming. We need it more than ever!
I was lucky to get an autographed copy of your book and was thrilled to see it came from a Bath bookstore we had visited last summer on a UK trip (from the Seattle area). Thank you for your content and bravery. God bless you.
i always tell this when it comes up, my son when he was at primary school (he was 9/10 at the time) had a week where they were telling the kids about being gay and trans and pronouns all that stuff, out of the 13 girls in the class 11 announced they were gay, the 2 that didn't were both immigrant kids who didn't speak english very well, it caused a nightmare of kids "bullying" by calling girls lesbians which is a hate crime but also what they claim they are, then when they say they aren't gay anymore but boys being boys mentioning them being gay is now a hate crime, its was utterly stupid to put this on 9/10 year olds, i know one of the girls dads and this is still affecting her in high school now. Needless to say i put my younger daughter in a different primary school which is brilliant none of that nonsense and ironically at my daughters better school the headmaster is a gay fella who does a brilliant job
Andrew, like you, I have been a happy vaccine taker all my life. However, in the light of recent research into MRNA vaccines, I will not have another vaccine delivered using that technology. This is a problem because governments have been persuaded to invest in facilities to produce MRNA vaccines instead of 'traditional' ones. Perhaps you could interview a vaccine heretic to explain the dangers of MRNA vaccine delivery.
Fun fact person to person transmission of ANY disease, has NEVER been demonstrated under control conditions EVER ! They have a 100% FAILURE RATE ! the whole concept of a virus ANY virus and corresponding "vaccine" is therefore negated ! how can you know the mechanism of something which has NEVER been demonstrated and consequently how can you produce a "cure" 🤷♀
The reason lots of the rioters and their supporters pleaded guilty was because they stood charged with simple public order offences that had overwhelming evidence. These laws are the result of long experience of policing disorder in the uk, such as the miners riots and football hooliganism of the 80s; and they are very well written easily enforceable laws. Each defendant likely received the proper legal advice that if they pleaded not guilty they would be convicted and receive even longer sentences. It’s frustrating to watch two men who clearly know nothing about law enforcement making inaccurate statements. A little bit of research would help them look better informed. People don’t seem to get this. If you make stupid emotionally driven decisions and break the law you will have to be held accountable. There’s no saying yeah that’s ok later when communities have been trashed and peaceful people terrorised. Read the relevant legislation and then anyone can see how easy it is to convict people of public order offences when they do it on camera in front of the world. The brazenness of the idiots who got chose to get involved in the summer disorder had consequences for those individuals. This is nothing new - following the 2011 Duggan riots exactly the same harsh penalties were exacted on anyone with the remotest connection or involvement - people of good character were receiving weeks in prison for buying a pair of looted shoes, for example. The context is that those riots, as were the 2024 riots, were aimed at destabilizing essential law and order; therefore anyone who had even the slightest thing to do with that was made an example of. It’s really not new it’s not particularly sinister and the vast majority of the general public are quite happy with Starmers response and his swift restoration of law and order - and the deterrent conveyed to others who thing the sort of destruction and hooliganism we saw last summer were somehow ok. It’ll be a long time before anyone behaves this stupidly again.
Very interesting and a wide variety of topics was covered. I only knew about Tommy Robinson yesterday... whenever I heard him mentioned in passing I was confusing him with Anthony Robins (who now goes by Tony)... jaw dropped and I've listened to hours and hours of his stuff. I've cried for those little girls and their families. I've passed the videos along and asked my friends to sign the petition. Fellow gold fans... who have watched the 'forbidden video' the 2nd Lawyer who was mentioned I thought they were saying 'fruit bat--' does anyone know the correct spelling of his name?
Yes. Recently been to court. Told t duty solicitor i had a lawyer but he wouldnt b in today and i wanted to put in a plea/request for more time for legal advice. I explained clearly what and why to this dickhead. When i got into the depressing as courtroom i had apparently put in a guilty plea. Wankers
47:00 yes, absolutely, even if members of the duty solicitors slate were/ are uncorrupted, I'd deffo want a solicitor of my choice. When I became a custody visitor I was surprised to learn that duty solicitors often did their thing just over the telephone. If I was been interviewed in a Police station I'd want'em there in the room- even if it were just for moral support- and I hope/presume with a solicitor chosen and paid by yourself you'd be more likely to get that.
I know that Leo still brought a lot of really serious topics to the discussion - topics that are very much hot button issues here in the UK right now - but it was still nice for his riotous humour and ability to get you both laughing and trading silly remarks, because you looked so much more relaxed than you often do during your interviews/chats. That is in no way me trying to denigrate the regular formula (I've not only been enjoying this channel for a year, I've also just read your book 'The Psychology of Secrets: My Adventures with Murderers, Cults and Influencers'...which I really loved and raved about on Goodreads). I love this channels format and always enjoy the guests. But a little bit of semi-anarchic humour and silliness with Leo seemed like the perfect show to kick off the New Year. (I have no idea when this was filmed...your work ethic and immense output is insanely impressive and only possible, I imagine, by filming multiple shows on the same day for later release.) But no matter when it was filmed, it was just nice to see you much more chilled out, throwing your head back and laughing, and seeming to enjoy the crazy little backroads Leo often takes in his wee jaunts into political comedy as seen at ground level. All the best to you and yours for a happy, prosperous 2025! Bex
My question about Lilly Phillips is where the hell is her best friend? I'm sure she told her about this idea, and I want to know why her best friend didn't talk her out of it.
Doesn't always work. I'm getting on now. From primary school till my late 30s I had a best friend who married 3 abusive men in a row from 18, two physical. Yet had absolutely no trouble getting any man she wanted. She just wanted bad ones. I warned her time and again but she refused to listen. I can still hear her; "but I'm in love". Every time she broke up with one she came crying to me agreed with my takes then went running back. In the end I walked away. I hope now we're older she's sorted herself out.
15.50 Interesting that he didn’t say how he’s actually dated a trans woman years ago. I wonder why! He’s even spoke about it in 2019 on a podcast but seems he’s now hoping people have forgotten about that
I like this podcast but would not agree with statements that depression or bipolar disorder are made up conditions. I struggled myself with mental health for years, NHS services provide terrible services. Getting appointments with actual psychiatrist is almost impossible, you have to deal with GP giving you random antidepressants. I only managed to recover because I went to private clinic abroad to get proper diagnosis and treatment. Do not ignore mental illness. The people you mentioned are the ones who use their mental struggle as a excuse to do nothing with their lives
I don’t think he’s saying they don’t exist. He’s saying that you now have the luxury of complaining about it, because if you were forced to work in a manual job by the state, you wouldn’t be complaining about it. Although I agree he says it in an insensitive way.
Ultimately it is her choice. But she has grown up in a culture that validates her treating herself this way. We should have a culture that doesn’t reward dangerous sexual behaviour. And in other countries not having ADHD, of corse they do. Young women with severe or life limiting mental health generally end up in prostitution or married young. I agree with some of what you say, but not most. But you have a right to speak freely and open debate.
I almost never respond. But now I really have to speak up. I've only been watching for 6 minutes and something is already being said that is simply untrue. I don't know Leo so I assume he is not well informed about this. Radical feminists are progressive and are not at all out to take away women's bodily autonomy, on the contrary. Julie Bindel is the last person who wants to control women. Ask her your questions, I'm sure you will get a better view on how oppression and exploitation works.
You lasted longer than me, I stopped watching just after the 5 minute mark. Andrew's had Julie Bindel on, amongst many others that have informed him. He knows enough now to at least raise an eyebrow.
I'm early into the video but please stop saying "feminists" and instead try "EXTREME feminists". I agree with you but it helps no one miss framing an already marginalised group. Thank you.

I refuse to watch David Tennant anymore
He’s horrendous
Tennant, Fry, most of Hollywood, many of todays music idiots, all of GMB, Lorraine, BBC, much of so called comedians who are as funny as prostrate cancer & so on!
It is such a waste because David used to be one of my favorite actors. His Dr Who is the best. I think we are seeing the effects of him being stuck in lockdown with his very woke wife - he even credits her with "opening his eyes".
I only know him from Jessica Jones.
@@LynetteMcGrath I was a big fan from the Casanova onwards until his Mental demise, it's sad really!
It really sucks; I totally enjoyed Tennant’s run as Dr. Who but I won’t be able to ever enjoy those episodes again. He’s absolutely repulsive.
Same
Ya, he ruined it for me. I can't watch him do anything now. And I really liked him as an actor. Oh well.
Or is your parasocial interest in a strangers kids repulsive?
looking over my own childhood and those of all my ex students and friends and their kids, I feel that most children go through a time or several times in their lives that they want to be some one else or even change sex. It is the magical thinking of youth. If you just let them grow up and not try to push or pull them in anyway, they will sort themselves out.
When I was 12 me and my mate used to identify as bulls and put our fingers as horns and ram each other whenever we passed in the corridors. God I couldn’t imagine being a youth in this day and age and I’m only 25
This used to be best practise in the treatment of gender dysphoria in children. Now they call it conversion therapy. It doesn't get more Orwellian.
We used to call it Teen Angst.
'The British dream has become leaving Britain' so true & so very sad.
Great interview
If you leave Britain you’ll soon find out it’s not any better any where else. Try it and you’ll soon find out.

So many great lines fron Leo in this interview. He's an absolute hoot! 😅

Not worth it.
Fascinating critique.
Any idea where I can get my hands on a video of her heroic exploits? ( for purely artistic appraisal reasons, obviously 👀)
"the seizure girl" did a great video on this topic
Same with the tranzzz in a way, they want attention at the end of the day no matter the price. I dread the day Lily unleashes a documentary on how she was a victim of social media..
exactly, she's clearly not well, her mother and father are supporting their cash cow daughter prostituting herself. Awful. Her interview demonstrated all the signs of someone who had gone through a traumatic experience. The men taking part are scummy.
Well, she's going for a 1000 next time.... She needs therapy ASAP.
Kids of celebrities live under the shadow of their parent so tend to grab onto anything that makes them "special".
Yes very canny observation. You are right. The kids of famous celebrities feel less than or as you say are in the shadow of their parents' success and achievements. So if they embrace the tranzzz they are making themselves feel like they have achieved something special by their own merits.
That makes sense.
I suspect it was for a reason, he probably thought it was good for his career, sick times.
Dig me. See how cool I am.
I agree, he sacrificed his own child for the one eyed club.
From what he said, he was gaslit by his young wife, who’s captured. ‘She taught me everything about being an ally’, or words to that effect.

Perfect example. The media so focused on her tomboy look when she was little, it was uncomfortable.

For all the (justified) disgust for Tennant, remember this: the journey to accepting what he has done is tantamount to admitting to torturing his own offspring. If he is able to make even one step towards it, he will need more help than people realize.
He should have chosen a different name than the old fashioned Wilfred for a son or Olive for a daugher (one is a character in Doctor Who, the other is associated with the screaming girlriend of Popeye the sailor). the problem is immigration without assimilation.
@@elfangel94 There's so such thing as an English citizen, FYI. Your mother and you are still ethnically Mexican regardless of what your passports say. @@elfangel94 Getting a UK passport doesnt change you at all, its just a document. It certainly wouldnt make you "english".

Tyrant mother
Who cares? Why would it matter what her brother thinks?
The mother is her manager and her brother is also somehow involved in that whole circus.
Seems like some try to be their daddy's boy.
Her dad says that publicly. There’s no way he genuinely thinks this is acceptable behavior for his daughter. Unless of course, he’s a terrible father.
The way Leo says pum pum has me rolling!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Leo, Friday night, to his wife.
"Hey darling, juniors asleep. How about a wee bitta pun pun"
David Tennant was absolutely universally beloved in his days of Doctor Who!
Apparently his wife caused him to leave the universe.
It's sad. Even looking at him now he looks frail and unhealthy. I know he is older but something feels off.
Now he's just another gender lunatic
go woke go broke!
Key word was
That vaccine, wasnt a vaccine. THAT was the issue.
Exactly, when you get the polio vaccine, you don't get polio, not a less awful polio that leaves you only partially paralysed. I got two vaccines and still got COVID at least 3 times
Viruses aren't seasonal, so why is it after the flu jab, flu goes round. Some day people might find some brain cells.
Leo strikes me as the kind of guy who would just keep walking if he saw someone preparing to jump off a bridge in floods of tears.
I like leo ,leo is funny, funny is good. Thank you😊
I used to liké David Tennant😢
He is an actor - he lies for a living!
What about his lying did you find appealing?
Yes there WERE a lot of us... just like there WERE a lot of us who loved Bill Cosby, Rolf Harris, Gary Glitter etc. Then we found out who they really were.
Why?

Yeah, he’s great did you see him on the recent Triggernometry video talking about 2024 ?
Same ❤
Me too!
@@andreapartytown oh yes! I would not miss that😘👌
I really loved David Tennant.
All of the things you've mentioned are stuff I see/heard from him too. ;'(
It's a real thing for people to struggle with..
Guarantee Andrew and Leo would 100% be a blast to kick it with
Meh
Woody Allen must have been paraphrasing - the original quote is from the writer,
Cyril Connolly -
'The greatest enemy of Art, is the pram in the hall.'
Thanks
Tennant has backed himself into a corner with this. He has betrayed his kid in the long run.

Until then YOU ARE ABUSING THEM if you encourage ANY change based on this - END OF
It’s not a phase though?
I came out as an adult but I was a trans kid, my feelings never changed
😂😂I hate people chewing with their mouth open I tried to hold in the laughter I love Leo he's hilarious 😂😂
Thank you Andrew as Leo is a Commonsense speaker. Quite rare these days.. Happy New Year to you Andrew and your Wife and pup 🎉🎉🏴🇬🇧🫶🏻
"He always liked Hello Kitty so we chemically castrated then so she could live her truth"
Hopefully I'm just a paranoid old man who is worrying about nothing but I do feel after going down the gender rabbit hole over the last few months, it's an incredibly sinister movement.
I'd never heard "ran through" before I watched the documentary. I will never forget it.
Same as Wmn talking about their wedding day - tearing up
She’s just a pro !!! Desperate pro
It sounded like her parents had been manipulating her.
He was joking about it being 'a hard day's work'. The guys a comedian.
@@nataliebutler The only way to spell the kind of comedian he is is w-a-n-k-e-r. Andrew has let himself down with this little bro-mance.
Tennent is just another woke celebrity following the lead of other woke Hollywood celebrities.

Wherever you go, there you are.
Great chat guys, i really enjoyed listening. Thank you
Leo is highlighting that the vast majority of activists aren't principled self serving. They're just using the principle because being selfish is less defensible.
Leo is right. Jerry Sadowitz is one of the few comedy greats. Not for the faint hearted but if you're faint hearted, you don't really like comedy.

I have never used a duty solicitor. It's advisable to always carry the contact details for your own solicitor whom you can call upon.
Yes. Recently been to court. Told t duty solicitor i had a lawyer but he wouldnt b in today and i wanted to put in a plea/request for more time for legal advice. I explained clearly what and why to this dickhead. When i got into the depressing as courtroom i had apparently put in a guilty plea. Wankers
Who pays for them, if you request your own solicitor?
47:00 yes, absolutely, even if members of the duty solicitors slate were/ are uncorrupted, I'd deffo want a solicitor of my choice. When I became a custody visitor I was surprised to learn that duty solicitors often did their thing just over the telephone. If I was been interviewed in a Police station I'd want'em there in the room- even if it were just for moral support- and I hope/presume with a solicitor chosen and paid by yourself you'd be more likely to get that.
Not all of us have a suitable solicitor in our phone’s Contacts, unfortunately…
I've always enjoyed Tennant as an actor, but that all they are, actors, their opinions don't matter and that's assuming they have their own ones.
Great guest and great show as always, Andrew. I'll be a fan forever ❤

My question about Lilly Phillips is where the hell is her best friend? I'm sure she told her about this idea, and I want to know why her best friend didn't talk her out of it.
Have you ever tried to talk a friend out of doing something self destructive? I have and they refused to listen
I think you’re right in describing it as an addictive way of thinking and acting which has parallels with other addictions
Brilliant! Thanks ❤
I saw the footage of that poor mum of the autistic kid having to grovel to the barbarians - it was utterly heartbreaking and sickening
What a laugh, thank you for the giggles
15.50 Interesting that he didn’t say how he’s actually dated a trans woman years ago. I wonder why! He’s even spoke about it in 2019 on a podcast but seems he’s now hoping people have forgotten about that
Aa soon as he stressed that hes all good with adults: chaser
Or is he gay?
Even the Chase banking app hates David Tennant now....they have replaced him in the advert with Rob Brydon.
I love watching both of you!
Love to see any colabs with Leo, love the guy, he would be so funny if he wasn't so true.
FemiNarcissism
You lasted longer than me, I stopped watching just after the 5 minute mark. Andrew's had Julie Bindel on, amongst many others that have informed him. He knows enough now to at least raise an eyebrow.
Leo's the best. Always a good time that seems to fly by whenever I see him chatting with somebody.
I'm early into the video but please stop saying "feminists" and instead try "EXTREME feminists". I agree with you but it helps no one miss framing an already marginalised group. Thank you.
Agreed. This guy just comes across as being scared of women. Especially when he blamed women for transwomen.
It’s an outrage that Jerry Sadowitz is working as a shop assistant. He’s a comedy genius. Shame on the people who cancelled him.
