Bro… can’t help but get emotional about how he had to go recognize his Dad after that monster walk off. Baseball is the greatest father and son sport ever.
I could watch this tape 100 times every single day until I die. I am proud that Freddy’s parents are Canadian and he shows the Canadian spirit. The Dodgers are my team thank you Freddie Freeman for being a wonderful human being and one of the greatest baseball players to play the game.
Fun fact… the Dodgers always play the song , I love L.A. written by Randy Newman after every home game win. The Natural soundtrack was written by Randy Newman.
@@drjeffreykronson5537 I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched Freddie’s HR, and from how many angles. It really means a lot to hear that you enjoyed this one!
I’ve seen so many videos of Freddie’s HR! This touched my 💖 with the editing AND the ending is the best! Thank you Freddie for making 2024 a special year!😉🤟
There are so many great films of this grand slam and Mr. Freddie Freeman first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers. If I watch it 1000 times it will not be enough and it’s a great take on the music from the natural.
Seeing Freddie with his son walking the bases was so heartwarming as well as having the tears start to flow. The family has been through so much this year that they deserved a World Series ring. He needed to make that grand slam, and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. I have a whole new admiration for him. Well done, Freddie, and good luck to you and your family in the future. 🇨🇦
After the scare he went through with his son, I feel like his perspective on life and playing a game changed. What would normally cause many players to fold under pressure in a situation like bases loaded, 2 outs, down a run, and in front of your home crowd didn't faze Freddie. Even if he didn't succeed, I feel like he wouldn't have let it deter him from producing the rest of the series. Thank you for making this video.
I know how he felt, having been through serious medical issues with my own son. I think once you've been through that, your perspective changes permanently. I feel like that bottom-of-the-10th-2-outs moment was made for a man and a player like Freddie to face and overcome.
Un-BELIEVE-able video. I thought the scenes of Mookie and the boys ecstatic with joy were touching...but as the father of a now-22 year old young man who's gone through serious medical issues requiring surgery, I held it together until the final scene with Freddie's son. After that, you can't really blame me. Absolutely beautiful...I salute you.
@@rikk319 ah man thank you for this lovely comment. That part of the video was hard to get through while editing. I’m glad it didn’t come off as melodramatic. I idolize Freddie as a ball player, but I admire him even more as an emotionally vulnerable man and father. I hope your son is doing well!
@@heretastethis Thanks, man. My son's gotten through his issues as best he can, and right now, physically, he's on top of it. It's long-term stuff, though, and he handles it with a strength that makes me proud.

Great job! So much different than all the other takes! More emotional really. We all saw the Grand Slam walkoff and watched the Natural a million times. Really outstanding! So happy for Freddie and family for all they went through. Then to give his all just to play and then excel the way he did. 👍✊👏⚾🏆

clearly the absolute turning point in the 2024 World Series where every pitch, every at bat, every swing matters. Freddie proved how much it matters. 2 strikes, 2 outs, bottom of the 10th down in extra innings. That swing was a Yankee Killer to the max. Just think, if he misses it and strikes out, Yankees lead 1-0 in LA is a totally different series and momentum. It will be a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life since I was Dodgers fan since I was a kid. I am glad I was there at Dodgers Stadium for that historic moment.
Freddie is undoubtedly a Hall of Famer, the only question is will he go in as a Brave, a Dodger, or neither? I think it’s probably neither (blank hat), and that’s okay! But boy would it be neat if he did go in as a Dodger.
Bro… can’t help but get emotional about how he had to go recognize his Dad after that monster walk off. Baseball is the greatest father and son sport ever.
Best part was the look of concern on his dads faces, and then when he knows its out you see him light up, blink and you'll miss it
His father raised Freddie by himself after his mother died from cancer in 2000.
