I have relatives and friends in ATL. Unsurprisingly, MTG's district is small and very weird -- for lack of a more scientific term. The fact that the local voters brought her back for a second term says something about the mindset of the majority of voters there, I suspect. Cheers!
Everyone, please support Trisha Calvarese. I just read her bio and visited her website, and she has endorsements from 14 unions and 13 normal politicians (unlike Boebert) in both Colorado state and federal government. She understands what is needed and willing to actually work to improve peopleʻs lives. Iʻm donating again, and will keep supporting her.
Endorsements she didn’t earn, when she found out her dem primary opponent was going to pull them she ran crying to Liz Shur and she enforced they endorse her. It pissed a lot of the workers off. All state officials who have endorsed again were told to, most were for the special election, she just inflated it like her resume. The working families party didn’t even endorse her because she’s for corporations. She’s running a horrible campaign and got the nomination by cheating.

I live in a Red rural county. One of our three County Commissioners is a MAGA-hat fool, given to rabid insults and vilification of anybody who disagrees with him. He's up for re-election and it's clear that he will lose to an old-fashioned Republican, an exemplar of civility and reasonableness (though very much pro-development). I see this as evidence that Republicans are regaining some common sense.

As a former healthcare provider in that district, so very good platform. Our hospitals are suffering our services are sparse, hard to keep nurses and doctors. It's a very red district that tends to vote against their best interest. Some are seeing the light though. And many were very unhappy that Beaufort switched to their district.
