  • I've searched and searched but couldn't find many Riedell 172 OG skate vids so I decided to make one for any inquiring minds.
    These are brand new never skated in.. (yet). The build quality by the best skate making company in the world makes me realize why the cost is what it is. I'll have these for the rest of my life, not to mention, I've got another Riedell vid coming in about a month or 2 of the 120 boot but they'll be custom not regular.
    Buying insoles is a MUST for those getting these or any other Riedell skates because they do not provide one for you. They should for the hundreds we have to pay! But anyways, any questions? Put em in the comment section.

    I ordered a 297 boot with a reactor neo plate straight from riedell and they came pretty quick

    I found that the 9 in mens that would have ordered in the 336, is too tight for my big wide feet, but just right in the 120 boot. Smart to try on before making the investment in any Ridell boot.

      Correct. They will ship you a skate to try on for free but it'll take a couple weeks to get.

    I looked up the name on the box and it looked like they changed their name to RollerSkateUSA. I'm glad you mentioned that to me because I was about to order from them.

    Howdy howdy! Question - you said you were normally a size 11 and ordered a 10.5. Do you still think a half size down is the way to go? I'm also an 11.

      Absolutely if you want an exact fit. Only downside you can't put in insoles. You'll only be able to do so if you buy 11's.

    Should I go down a size, even if I have a wide foot? I’m a sneaker 10.5. Thanks.

      @mrpearson1230  Год назад

      I'd still get a 10.5 and if need be buy insoles. Sure-grip insoles are cheap but reliable.

    hey, do you like these skates personally. are they good to skate in and are they comfortable and lightweight???

    • @mrpearson1230
      @mrpearson1230  Год назад +1

      These are by far my favorite skates I've ever skated in and I've skating in many different skates. Super comfortable! The weight depends on what plate and what size wheels you put on your skates. Wheels can range from 55' to about 65'. The smaller the lighter. A nylon (plastic) plate is lighter than the metal plate that's in my video.
