I'm sorry for your loose.
Thanks a lot...i will definitely give it a try! 😊
its better use if you put the game on high, 1200p, 20w and lock on 30fps and upscale to 60fps. You got better visual experience with more resolution, less wattage, better temperatures and all the fluid of the scle. Preferences only. But if you have that fucking old game that you cant play at 60 frames because have a bad optimization, this is a fucking game changer. MUST HAVE if you have a legion go, or rog ally.
what do you mean by upscale to 60fps its already on fps lock .Can you explain please.
cap the game on 30fps, choose 60hz display and the program upscale to 60 fps. If you lock your game at 30 fps, in some games can apply medium or high quality or 1200p
@@edjg480 it goes from 30 to 60fps but still look and plays like 30fps. frame gen is useless now
@edjg480 hey fam I hope you see this. What's your consumption like with those settings. 20tdp only means that that is how much it can use bur it doesn't mean it will get used. Do you get a lot more battery life while on the go by doing what you mentioned? If yes how much? Because I usually have only 1 hours of play time on triple a games while on native and I got lossless scaling to see how much more I can get out of this
@@edjg480hi. RUclips is bugged read above
Another great video. Thanks mate!
This is 🔥
Glad you like it.
@@GamesInHand Do you have a discord. If you do, can you please send a link?
Amazing thank you
How do you set display/graphic settings in games before using this New scaling app? Do you turn of fsr or what ever options the spesific game has
Thanks for this tip! When I can afford to buy this program, I'll be happy to give it a try!
It’s like $7
@@Skegfromcraigslist That's almost an hour of work at minimum wage
@@witebatmanlook the person is obviously a weeb they typically live at home with mommy and daddy and spend all their money on chicken tendies and anime pillows.
how to make battery on legion go passed 1hour? i only played nb2k11 on ps3 emulator. 5mins per quarter it only has 25% battery after 1 game. i think i got better battery when playing tales of arise.
Hey, every time I run Lossless Scaling, it rotates my display into portrait mode and slows down the game. Has anyone run into this issue?
Its for steam game only or it work other games im using xbox pass?
Do You feel any input lag, can You showcase more games like God of War and Returnal using this technology ?
Yes there are some games with input lag, I'm working on a video that showcases multiple games running with this so stay tuned
Nice! AMD scalling must be turned off when this losseless scalling running? Or can be combinated.
It can be combined I use it on my setup to triple the fps
@@someyetiwithinternetaccess1253 what do you combine and how RSR, RIS or intger scaling?
@@uhhh684 I combine frame gen with LS1, you can combine it by turning on framegen and scaling at the same time
Wow!!!!
Soooo i just tried it on my legion go and i did go with a higher resolution other than 800p even 1440 and 1600p..dont have to drop to 800p
LOSS, LOSSLESS SCALING NOT LOOSELESS! Awesome video though, thanks
Cringed every time.
The app is a game changer.. Only tried it on Helldivers 2 and Last Epoch but so far its running flawlessly
I've been struggling to play helldivers 2... how many fps are you getting with this?
@@pablodopaminoso around 90 fps at base, and between 70-80 on the planets.. try lowering your settings like shadows etc. I had to play around for a bit but worked great after I did.
What should legion go's native res be PLEASe????? WHY DOES EVERYONE NOT METION THAT?!?!? kinda essential to know tbh
Got amazing results in Destiny 2, almost all settings on high, vsync off, framerate capped to 60, getting 95-120 fps. Im so happy. No luck in Uncharted 4 and Days gone tho. Weird screen tearing in U4 and 4-5 fps in Days Gone. Those games run pretty good anyways, and im mostly playing Destiny 2 btw 😁 I'm glad I've seen this video
Can't get it to work well in PES 2021 =(
Does it work also with higher res, like 1200 p?
Or only w 800 p?
Guessing it will but your fps won't be as high.
Hey, does anyone know what RSR does? Its an option in the legion space settings
RSR, upscales to wahtever you have ur native display set, you can set the Go to 800P, then select 720 in game, and the drivers will upscale
Oh okay ty
For mw3 I’m getting so much input lag
I have Draw FPS on but the FPS counter isn't showing up in Helldivers 2 - any idea what i'm doing wrong?
I wonder if this will work on Dragons Dogma 2 ...
A lot of ghosting dg2
How do you get full screen when windowed is selected I really struggle with this on my legion
When you hit the scale button it forces full screen after the 5 second count down
@@GamesInHandno it doesn't. I tried on tw3, windowed mode and all, but when the scaling countdown is done, the picture stays on windowed is just surrounded with black all around it
You might need to set the scaling mode to full screen instead of preserve aspect ratio.
@@maximeolive-chourafa7719 gave up on it can’t be bothered to run a dodgy programme every time I start a game.
This sh… is complete crap! It doesn’t work. When I turn this on cyberpunk, the screen turns black
I tried this but when I turn on upscaling non of the controls work in game. Super confused.
Yes this happened to me, you have detach your controller and reattach it.
@@GamesInHandokay I’ll try it. Also the fps counter isn’t working. Any ideas on that?
Does it work with all games or only games on Steam ?
He shows this works with emulation as well at the end. It doesn't matter the store on which you play your games from
There's not just ghosting, there are horrible artefacts similar to screen tearing (look at the ground while running in Star Wars)..
Input lag is too much for me even on single player games… rip
ITS LOSS LESS NOT LOOSE LESS! 😂😂 Nice video though, thank you.
can you please test this on steam deck running windows?
Yes check out our gametechplanet channel. Jerry is currently working on that video now.
thank you so much @@GamesInHand
I still don't have GOW3 and don't know where to get it, safely.
Get on our discord and dm me
Loss less. Like lost. Not loose
use lossless scaling on rog ally z1 non extreme it transformed that machine
You know if it’s better than cryoutilities?
Looks the same I can see some frame drop on your game play which it should be smoother with that 70+ fps. I could be wrong but i looks fake fps to me
it is i bought, shows 140 ;D but it feels the same as it was fake fps generator
and integrate scaling does the same to quality,so not even worth wasting money
@@MegaHorop yeah I hardly see any difference with integer scalling it just makes the fps counter smaller 😅
@@jontechie amd integrated scaling helps u to make imagi quality good it works believe me :)
@@MegaHoropfr
Does it work in multiplayer games or I would get banned
I honestly haven't tried it with multi-player. Will test it in another video though, thanks
Can you test this application in the last of us pc game?
Welp, this is the price of a big mac with no meal. might as well give it a shot.
I did everything and nothing changes. I also did draw fps and it doesnt show up. Am i missing a step?
Did u figure it out because it's not working for me either
@@jongreene5605 nope
@uhZme I gave up and play my games with ris on in adrenaline at 900p I get 60 in every game and it looks like 1080p
How do you launch Lossless Scaling without it opening up Steam? Every time I go ahead and launch it outside of Steam (directly from windows) it always opens up Steam. Is there a setting or something I am missing.
You can't steam needs to be opened
Really. Doesn’t look like that from the video. Ok.
So does that mean that all games and emulators that can use Lossless have to launch through Steam?
@@moviecouple1995you can launch the game normally but lossless scaling has to be opened from steam, you can close steam after its opened though the scaling should still work fine
lossless vs integer ??
You can pick what type of scaling within Lossless. Integer should be one of the options
I guess if you cannot wait for the lenovo official drivers, than pay $7 for now. Thanks for the tip.
...sure that drivers will fix it like this app does? Do you mean FSR3 or what are you referring to...sorry if this is a dumb question 😅. Thanks. 😊
Drivers ain't gonna double fps my guy
Bro is it real fps ? I don’t even feel the difference on your video except the number of fps
Exactly, I had both fps counters on and it was saying 2 different numbers. I refunded it straight away.
@@reMARKable_1 I guess it creating fake frame between real frames so I don’t think games are smoother
It’s totally fake
@@damiejacob7317 the game looked no different. I tried Remnant 2 and Baldurs Gate 3. Both looked exactly the same to my eye test and they had 2 different fps counter numbers. The steam counter was in its mid twenties and the counter for lossless was saying 147. Dodgy.
I can definitely feel and see the difference in smoothness, the app is real and does work. it's an over lay it doesn't unject into the games so thats why the original fps still shows.
*lossless scaling my dude!
Thanks my dude, corrected! We appreciate it.
@GamesInHand *I believe he meant the pronunciation of the word. You are pronouncing it like foot loose, but it should be like "lostless scaling" and just imagine "lost" has a silent "t".*
@BrandonDrangel lol yeah I actually thought it was lose not loss. I spelt it that way when I wrote the title as well. But I corrected it, thanks.
I had bad experiences with a lot of lag with integrated scaling in the game Hogwarts Legacy. This works better."
Loss not loose
From what Ive read, there are technicalities that needed to be noted:
✅ if you'r targeting to 60, then cap the frame rate to 30.
✅ It also has something to do with the X2 refresh rate vs Xcap fps: 60HZ for 30fps ; 120HZ for 60fps
✅ If you can't get a normal 60fps (w/o lossless), then we are better of capping it @30fps w/ 60HZ = which results a stable 60fps w/ a little ghosting or artifact with lossless.
✅ This works well w/ ROG ally since they have a native 120HZ option. So perhaps we could suggest to BEN from LENOVO to give us the option to switch to native 120HZ
✅ Those saying they're having poor fps (4-5 fps), it could proabably be remedied by simply disabling your fps overlay, and leave it to lossless to draw fps
✅ Otherwise, I could be just talking nonsense 😅 Feel free to correct my comment 🙏
This software works same as Motion flow on TV. Fake frame gen. The true gamers can notice the ghost tearing and increase input lag easily.
Let’s get to 10k subscribers!!!
Dude its "LOSS-less" scaling. Not loose less.
Got it thanks 😊
@@GamesInHand my guy
Why would I listen to someone who can’t even pronounce the word loss
its not smooth at all on the legion go because the screen isnt VRR. works perfectly on the ally due to this
@@catch82 the game I'm trying to make it work has only 30 or 60 fps options =(
