I use the smaller framed A rigs in hartwell and they work well. Let’s you go down to much lighter line and use smaller swim baits, like 2.8 keitechs and 3” easy shiners.
I love the design and way it fishes. About 1/4 of all cast seem to get tangled up and nasty and the rig does not hold up well after a couple of fish. It really starts getting mangled. I am thinking about going with some of the Geecrack models. I like the longer connecting shaft and how sturdy the frames seem to be.
@@TravisDoesKayakFishing Interesting! Yeah it seems like the design eliminates jig tangles but introduces line tangles lol. My favorite to use lately is just the simple flash mob jr. I use small crappie grubs on it. Absolutely slays schooling spots.
went to Tellico Mon. picked up a nice smallie. we'll be there tomorrow and Fri as well. thanks again for the great videos... what's your water temp? I had mostly 48-50 deg..
10-4. we ended up going to Loudon today. I caught maybe 9. mostly largemouth with a couple decent smallies down around Concord park. water there was 47-49 degrees
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you as well. Hope you have had a great one!

I need to get some smaller ones. Right now the only ones I have are full size with 2.8 keitechs on them.
Merry Christmas thanks for the video
Merry Christmas to you as well, and thanks for watching!
Does that A-rig work well for you? I've tried using it but it always gets caught up in my line on casts. Great video btw!

It has been cold but we were seeing some readings in the low 50's. I am dying to get back on the water tomorrow.
