OWNING HARTWELL and playing with KNOCKERS!!
Probably one of the best XTR130 setups on here. Maybe it needs Starlink like Flukemaster
This is one mean fishing machine. You want to talk about turning heads when it rolls up.
@TravisDoesKayakFishing lol It's a fishing yakht. Jake from Ohio sold his Hobie angler and bought an XTR with a bow Spot Lock motor. He loves it. I'm upgrading my ride to a Native Slayer Propel LTE. I need a lighter pedal then the PWR or Titan. I just have a $400 Walmart kayak. No to a Hobie Passport 10R.
@1:45 He said something about not needing the black box if you go with 106sv?
Yeah for the networking. The 93sv requires it and the 106 doesn't but let me confirm with him.
Good looking store, I wish we had more like these locally in asia
I wish you did as well. It's an awesome place.
Great vid mate
Thanks man. People really liked this video.
Way better than tactical
@@fisherfolk777 Why is that?
Awesome looking shop
I didn't want to leave. It's such a cool place to shop and talk about the outdoors.
Great video… I’m sold on this . I currently have the Garmin ( well I did until I lost it in a move ) 😂 thanks mate . This is really helpful
It's a really good unit and does support Active Target 2 if you ever want to get in on live scope.
@@TravisDoesKayakFishing thanks again mate
Great shop to go to. Got my native titan x12.5 there will be getting another one there soon. Great video
I agree. I love going there. Even if it's just to film and talk to the staff about kayaks, they are just amazing. Mr. Tim, Blaine, Drew, all of them are great. That Native Titan x12.5 is a unit!!! Nice rig.
That's an awesome place man . I really like how they have so many different kayak 🛶 there & kayak 🛶 equipment you will need . I really would like to check this place out man . How you been doing man ? I hope you're doing well brother . I lost your email address man so i don't know how to get in contact with you about something man . This was an awesome place & thanks you for showing me this place brother & i hope you had a good weekend brother .
Doing good man. Fossilfiction@gmail.com is the best one to use. I will be on the lookout for the email.
Thanks for stopping by. Muddy Bay is AWESOME and they have some awesome set for 2025! Go check them out!
Love the colors specially the glittery one...must be nice to experience a winter fishing...you have a complete stuff lol
Winter fishing is awesome. You should try it if you still have your yellow kayak.
Does this unit have livescope?
Not the Striker series. You would want to look into the Garmin UHD2 with live scope add-ons for one of the best or the Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 if you are looking for the most affordable.
Got my 300ah Mini yesterday. Hit the QR, registered for warranty, but not finding how to open and use the BMS app. WattCycle shows me nothing on the website. Can you direct me on this other than "open". I'm not even BT connecting. Does the battery need a jolt to activate it? No instructions in the book. Thank you.
As long as the mini is the Bluetooth enabled one, search for BMS Meta by zhouyuanfei. The app is a green icon with a shield that has a small lighting bolt on it and it will say BMS under the bolt. Let me know if that helps. Once you open the app you should be able to select bluetooth and then it will scan for your battery. You can then connect to it by pressing it's name. Let me know if this helps.
@@TravisDoesKayakFishing LOL Not the BT model. I made an assumption. That's ok, I'll go with a shunt for monitoring. Thanks.
Makes no sense based on the way physics works that the most stable place to stand would be on the top of those hatches instead of just behind on the mats which is lower in the hull toward the center of buoyancy.
I will find out in a few months when I get my own. My honest take, if you are looking at standing on a platform, the XTR 130 is designed for just that and it is as stable as anywhere else.
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Good seeing you again bud.
I watched a video where one of the pros was suggesting that in colder winter water you should look at jig trailers with little to no action, basically a chunk bait. the bass don't feel much like moving so they are also expecting the forage to be very lethargic and slow. throw a craw with flapping appendages is off putting. They don't bite probably because they don't expect the juice to be worth the squeeze. Well that's what I heard anyway.
I hear that a lot too and try to abide by it. I will use rage craws in the summer but a ned lure like the trd is a great trailer because it's just bulk not action and I love the chunks and more so the chunk mini's. They make a rootbeer green that pairs with strike king's gator craw cover and I know it works on ultra clear water.
the old jig always works!
IMO it's the best way to get your bite count up.
Definitely been throwing the ned rig around more this year, and have to say I'll be using it more, just catches fish! Plus always have a jig tied on this time of year. I need to work with the A-Rig more, never had much success with it, but I know it's a killer in the winter months.
The ned rig will absolutely slay on my lakes too. Especially the spotted bass heavy lakes. It's like candy to them.
$20 is a superb deal for that H2OXpress kit! I’m not a big fan of winter fishing. I struggle mightily when the water is in the 40s. I did have a lot of success my last trip out though with a Megabass Sonicside crankbait reeled a little slower than usual.
I was looking at it and said let me do the math, it took about three seconds before I was it settled. Excellent terminal kit for the price. www.academy.com/p/h20x-150-piece-bass-terminal-tackle-kit?sku=silver&gmc_feed=t&Google&SEM-Shopping&Shopping&Brand|Shopping&ogmap=SEM|PLB|GOOG|SHOP|c||IM|Brand-Shopping||21316941248&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA-aK8BhCDARIsAL_-H9m39Co3aKfNlTey5MG-kq0uJd_nAnvt35rwWuOnUU2iEtzEw1lCJPsaAiyPEALw_wcB
Thanks for stopping by. What are you chunking around?
Great video, I like all that, especially the A-Rig this time of year!
I have gotten a lot more confidence with an A-rig this year. It's money if you find the fish.
Ned rig. very slow drag and motionless most of the time. nothing fancy on there either just a z-man ned bait.
alijoz 300 is a workhorse
I think it's 100% held up the best.
The answer..
is yes.
Nice catch
@@intaplanetloutdoorifishingipha The fish is real from a photo but the video is actually AI.
Sick❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
He has a super sick rig man.
Travis, I use the Carbon Prism 2000 in Seafoam Green, paired with a (matching) 13 Fishing Fate Green Medium Light spinning rod. I freaking love it! I mainly target Spanish Mackerel with the setup. I just discovered Seguar PE X8 micro braid, which (surprisingly) has a much smaller diameter when compared to my 10# Reaction Tackle 4-strand braid. I think I can get roughly 260 yards of the 16# PE X8 on this reel (compared to roughly 200 yards of 10# Reaction Tackle Braid). This isn't a bash on Reaction Tackle, either. They are my choice of braid and I love them, but this Seguar braid takes precedent on this reel (and for this specific purpose). Anyways, I'm sorry to hear about the toxic and poisonous fellow angler. It is a huge sign that you are on your way to the top, though, as contradictive as that may seem. I have subbed and I am more than happy to send you some things to try and make up for that d!ps!it. Let me know if you have a PO Box!
It’s a good reel, man. I’m honestly impressed with how well it holds up when used as intended. That’s a nice setup you’ve got there. I’ve moved mine around a bit and currently use it on a 7'1" Shimano-love it. I don’t have a PO Box, but I truly appreciate the gesture. I’m fortunate to have some wonderful sponsors right now, including Four Seven Lures, Watt Cycle Power, and my newly obtained sponsor, Ice Fox. I’ve moved beyond the deal, but it was one of those experiences that felt like a flash in the pan of my life. Still, I learned a lot from it and now look back at it as a fun experience despite the way it ended. I also really appreciate the sub, my dude-thank you!
Looks great! What is the transducer mount that you are using? Trying to find one that allows me to flip the transducer up when not in the water. Looks like yours does exactly that.
That's a great questions. Let me ask Matt what it is.
He said it's just the stock one. Normally those get disgarded by kayakers but this kayak supports it easily per Matt.
Crap! I discarded it years ago. Bummer. I'll see if Lowrance sells a replacement. Thank you for finding out! 👍
I use the same carbon x V1 500 on my 6’6 1 piece acc crappie stick. Just got it for Christmas and it is a perfect pan fish setup. My personal crappie rig setup
Perfect setup IMO. I think trout fishing (for most of the trout out there) is a great use case for it.
Where did he get that trailer from
His is a harbor freight trailer with and extended tongue welded on. Pretty inexpensive and it looks great.
Hey brother i am so sorry to hear about what happened to you man . That's so wrong what they did to you man . Those are some nice reels you have man . The colors are nice too on them . Travis I love ❤️ that shirt man . That's my colors too red/black . I hope you are doing well brother . It's been one month already since my foot surgery man i can't believe it how time is flying buy man . Take it easy brother & thanks you for sharing this video brother .
You live and learn man. I had great plans for them and my relationship with them, but you cannot bring everyone up. Dude, I like their gear overall. Thanks man. Doing well but freezing. Is it feeling better? You too man.
Do you have Piscifun gear? If so what do you like, if not do you use any budget gear?
The only thing I’m worried about is if your motor goes out your screwed because you can run dual motors in bassmaster. Where in a hobie you have the pedals for back up Because I have to get a new kayak mine was damaged in a accident so I’m stuck between the new pa 14 and xtr. I had the 24 pa14 xr
The chances I lose both motors is low. I also carry a bending branches paddle but already had it in the truck when we shot the video.
Yup I worry about that too when dual motors are not allowed. I know the Xi3 is crazy reliable but things can happen. You about have to use two motors for reliablity IMO.
Thanks for your help! Happy Fishing! Blessings on your life and your family! GregT Greer SC
No probem and wave if you ever see me out 👋👋
What is the best way to set these gulp worms up when fishing for trout? Thanks GregT Greer SC
I like it two ways, drop-shot or carolina rig (just a press on lead weight). You can straight tail rig it but I prefer to wacky rig it myself. You cannot miss with either way.

Holy crap! 3 batteries on a Kayak??
With room for more 😶
Trout fishing is really what I starting fishing with. Only got into bass fishing around 2018-2019, so I still love to get out and troll for trout, that's my favorite way to catch them.
I rarely do it but when I do I love it.
How the heck is that NK300 not leaning or rotating to left or right while it stowed up. That’s a common issue. Nice rig man.
I think it has to do with the metal bar behind it and the perfect placement. I know he had it installed by pros at the Muddy Bay Outfitters but I can ask if he did anything extra.
That's a sweet set up. You thinking of getting the XTR?
It's between that and the Tactical Pro 128. Love them both.
Travis if your looking to upgrade from your current setup I am looking to sell my Nucanoe Unlimited that's fully loaded with extras. Motorguide XI3 with spot lock at the bow. Active Target 2 on the fishing specialties pole. Foot pedal controlled rudder. Two side flip out rod holders that store 6 rods horizontally on the sides and more. Garage kept for the 3 years I have had it. I live in Anderson SC in same area as you. If interested shoot me a message. I know in past video you mentioned something about getting more sponsor so maybe you already have something in the works for upgrade. Anyway love your channel keep up the awesome content!
I appreciate it. I have two in mind and I will be getting great deal on either one, but Nucanoes are awesome boats man.

Glad I could showcase your rig! It's awesome man.
Its nice but not sure its for me I’d probably just buy a boat with the money in that rig great walkthrough
It's getting to boat size in size and funcationality. The comfort level should crazy good on it.
Man that's a nice kayak man . She's a heavy kayak 🛶 though . But I like all the storage space it has . How are you doing brother . What video editor are you using?
Adobe Premiere Pro. Been using it a few years now.
Yes sir y’all had a pretty good day out there, looked like a lot of fun. It’s pretty awesome you can catch a wide variety of fish there. I can’t wait to spend a little time up there one day. Awesome video Travis!
You and your family would love it man. 7 waterfalls, species galore.
Oh man what a sweet video this was man! I plan on going trout fishing in blue ridge Georgia in march. That’s some crazy deep fish right there though. There is a A-rig I’m wanting called mini flex from tactical warehouse. Smaller profile lures can go on it for winter fishing . 2 to 3 inch lures.
I have see the mini-flex. I think it would be fire. Dude the fall on these a-rigs were slow. I was using a 1oz a-rig and Bennett had hadlest 2oz on his. It was still taking his forever to sink down. Tons of fun and spot on with the 2.8 vs the normal size keitechs, or anything else.
@ I bet it was fun seeing how they react in that live sonar. I never thought not only buying it would help locate fish better but like you said help you study on how they interact helps you fish different techniques. Love it
I didnt notice registration numbers don't you need those?
You do. He did the online application. There is a 90-day window, easily extended, while you wait for the SCDNR licnese and titling in Columbia. He has the temp tag printed off and with him. You can do the same with a mail-in application.
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 Yep, I can just wish for something like that. Awesome red.
What's red? It's nice yak for sure.
Had a blast with you that day man! Sweet video!
Thanks man. Appreciate the fishing and fun for sure.
Cool kayak!! A heavy sumb lol
Ain't it though man. I have seen it twice now and each time it's like, wow!
