FALL FISHING Lake Hartwell's RIVERS

- In today's video, I visit ramps Lawrence Creek and Walker Creek Access on lake Hartwell for some November kayak bass fishing. I dont' fish a lot of river access areas but I am working it. I find that current can work for or against and the bite it not like the main lake. You want to take your time and work the best areas hard.

Hey! Got some river fishing tips? I need them 🥴
God bless you Travis
Thank you.
Spot mancing yang sangat indah kawan
I agree. Beautiful spot for sure.
Dude, I fish that area of the Tugalo quite often and it is incredibly frustrating!🤣 You WILL snag over and over again. The battle with the current is tough, I use various methods (I would love to get an Anchor Wizard to try) from using a regular anchor to a brush grappler and it’s difficult, especially when they are running the turbines at Yonah.
As they started doing as the day went. It was so peaceful and calm to start and then by the afternoon I was saying, "Is 30lb thrust motor enough?" I loved it though. Might be going there Friday for by B-Day trip.
@@TravisDoesKayakFishingGood luck, they are in there. I got a 19” largie outta there last week!
@@melbrooks100 I like the sound of that.
Rivers are the bomb big guy..
I like the experience, I just need to figure out the fishing side of it. I had a guy give me some great off the record tips that I want to try tomorrow.
@@TravisDoesKayakFishing look for current breaks..it's a whole lot easier than lake fishing
nice work again sir casting is spot on
Thanks. I feel like I cast enough that I should be good at it haha.
So close to 3k subs! At 12:01 is that the bottom of the river that im seeing? If so thats pretty clear for hartwell
Yes it is. If you ever get a chance to go to Walker's Access or Lawrence, you will find some of Hartwell's clearest waters. Only right down by the dam really comes close that I know of. It's amazing to see.
@TravisDoesKayakFishing at singing pines near the dam i have swam in 6 feet of water and still be able to see the bottom perfectly
two hook sets i hate, is in the stomach where you can't reach it or in the eye.
Yeah man. I would take the eye over the gut but both suck. I am not sure the survival rate is really better if I leave the hook in when they are gut hooked, but I know I took one out once when I started fishing and no way that fish made it. I almost gave up the sport from feeling bad about it. I just cut the line and get as much out as I can plastic wise.
Hey, do you see any big carp around there? I'm talking like +20lb
Personally no, but I know dude that fish for carp and find monsters on Hartwell.
