I love how Laura's characters went from strategic flirting to innocent flirting then to "i have no idea what i'm doing" flirting (Thats Vex, Jester and Imogen respectively)
Can we all just appreciate in retrospect that they were more concerned about a). Falling in love with him, b). Accidentally leading him on, c). Screwing up the date due to their inexperience. Never once do they bring up his weight, his race, or his intelligence.
if they had mentioned his intelligence , they would been quite wrong possibly. episode 9 showed him acting as a dumb one but episode 10 showed a far more intelligent being of culture. which makes it a chance he acts stupid while working the soot and swill to not stand out.
@@Blackestrose He seems to actually be fairly intelligent yeah, he used to hit people as a career and decided to cook instead because he prefers serving folks over hurting them. He likely doesn't act as intelligent as he is at work but he also seems to have had genuine tears of happiness that Fearne like his meal. DND works in amazing ways, this character has reoccured now as being good friends with the three ladies of the group, hats off to matt as a DM who pretty much had to write this character on the fly, and he did so damn well.

I love these new characters so far, but F.C.G. is amazing in a whole new level. (as Sam trying to be not a comic relief is just a special kind of entertainment)
Matt must have done that on purpose, right? Like there's no way he made an ogre with such a similar voice to Buddy's (at first, anyway) AND gave him such an unusual name that's directly related to Buddy's catchphrase. I'm with you. It's canon, even if it's not.

I'm just going to say what we are all thinking; Mathew Mercer is a genius! He probably made this character of the cuff as a random NPC, yet his skill and talent made it into something we all now love. And if he gets killed, this team will burn the world in vengeance!
I feel like I relate so much to Pretty saying he'll be working and then sleeping in response to Imogen asking what he's doing later. It's literally what I say to everyone when they're trying to make plans and ask "What are you up to tomorrow?"
2:10 This captures all of their personalities so well. Chetney and Dorian, both lose their minds laughing at the statement. Orym is giving a smirk behind his hand. Ashton is going WTF. I have no idea whats going on with Laudna which is par for the course, Imogen bluescreened and Fern is like "Yeah, what's so weird about that"
I love how nervous Imogen is trying to come up with an excuse to keep Pretty out of the kitchen and then offers the whole table up for a date with while internally panicking
