One of my favourite things about this fight is that it's not a fight to beat Ivantika's crew. Even winning that fight would be an overall loss. It's a fight to stall long enough so that Beau can get the help of somebody potentially worse than their enemy.

This has so many good touches with stuff like seeing Calibs skinned face before he mentioned it and the great animation for nott slipping out of the guards arms. It was way more fluid than I expected as a whole.

I like to listen to critical role episodes whenever I'm working on stuff I don't need to be fully focused on, but this one episode made me watch the whole way through. This animatic is insane, even better than I imagined the battle to be. It's one of those times in DnD when, somehow, everything works perfectly and everyone has their opportunity to be cool in their own way. I can only wish I once have the opportunity to play a scene half as fun as this one
I forget how fucking smart the team was during this fight like they handled the scenario so intelligently and it makes me weirdly emotional cause the team dynamic is PHENOMENAL
The extra combat frames were so good, I liked the variable action when needed! Good sign of knowing what to animate and split your time into. Some wicked art frames with that fireball too and the expressions!
This fight is one of the best ways to show people what dnd is all about, two of my friends joined our campaign thanks to this animation so thank you so very much

The quality in each frame, the amount of frames, the length, each character design, the way you portray moves being taken, the fluid cinematography you make from minis on a map and narration, the fucking EDITING to omfg. You crammed 3 hours of combat into a crisp (but still very long) 8 minute fight scene that felt like 30 seconds with how fast it wizzed by, it really captured the heart pumping action. God its so much. Love the way you spliced and blended narration and descriptions into the animation itself, so CRAZY. Your work is incredible, thanks for this treat
