- Bell's Hells decide to go against a dusttra (a giant land squid) and chaos ensues.
*Really need to work on perspective and editing. Drawing the Second Sun ship was a pain, and I'm so used to only editing to the sounds from the show that some parts are really fast. This entire scene was almost half an hour compressed to 3 minutes. All an all, a learning experience.

Ashton not telling the others he is in a large amount of pain because they sounded busy might have single handedly made him the most relatable D&D character ever
Even tie with Laerryn Coramar-Seelie and her *complete* inability to produce coherent sentences when someone snaps her out of crunch time hyperfocus mode.

When Fearne says "you do _not_ have to do this!" With that much concern you know you're breaking new ground in chaotic neutral
It's that moment when you throw out a bad idea, and you know it's a bad idea as soon as you say it, but half of your friends want to do it anyway and there's no turning back.
For once in Fearne’s life, she uses her common sense.
Fearne experienced what others feel around her and instantly horrified

He makes some of the greatest in-character-out-of-character comments. All hail the Lord of the Dice.
1:45 is my favorite moment here, as great as EVERYTHING is, Chetney going "I got a harpoon" while FCG is trying to do therapy to a desert kraken is what got me
Having this animatic set to tune of "Drunken Sailor" makes it even funnier!
the only thing that would make it better would be the faint tune of Yakkity Sax playing in the background

Yeah, this pretty much sums up the Hells. Love that you threw in Drunken Sailor to really play up the insanity😂
I felt so bad for Talisen when no one acknowledged his character collapsing on the deck. Still, understandable. There was a lot going on, and he was an excellent sport about it. :P
When you say it like that, it feels like the party glazing over Scanlans issues.

But to answer your question, no, I didn't mean it like that. Mostly, I think I meant it as them dealing with shit way beyond their level and being exhausted afterwards.

Whether it's because Fearne came up with it, or because he's the second most chaotic person in this group, but Chetneys unwavering excitement for this plan was my favorite part!!!

You are always THE BEST when it comes to giving characters expressive faces!!! This time, you made everything so dynamic and fluid for one of the craziest plans so far in Campaign 3!!!!! You really brought it to life!!!
I think what really separate their work from other animatics done on youtube is the storyboarding. The way they edit those little scene to rearrange the story and make the funny moments 10x times funnier is awesome.
Captain Xandis is definitely in my top 3 favorite NPCs EVER. Pure chaos, but so good-natured while doing it.
1:52 I question how Chutney will be able to aim that giant crossbow when his height isn't even larger than the fence of the flying ship.

I absolutely love how Matt's sound effects go with the scene - they sound so weird with the descriptions edited out but so perfect at the same time

After watching this several times, I noticed at min 2:40 you can see Orym Narutorunning in the back xDD
I'm such a HUGE fan of every single one of your animatics (dance plan is my absolute favourite and one of my favourite RUclips videos period) but this one is just so chef's kiss!!! The chaos of these moments is captured so perfectly, Ashton's punching the crystal, 'I GOTTA HARPOON', the ship design, the layout of the scenes, Ashton pinned to the side. It's really a testament to your skill that you were able to compress half an hour into three minutes and still keep the spirit of it all alive.

the only thing i felt missing is the tentacles ending in hands like matt said. ( Imagine a lengthened squid, but its central body divides into two dozen long tendrils, each that ends in a long-fingered hand that grabs and wraps around.) but all the rest , style, facial emotions, poses are magnificent. this is art.

This gives off the same vibes as “let’s take bikini bottom and push it somewhere else” but it’s “let’s take the dusttra and lift it somewhere else”
this is amazing, it adds so much dynamic to the scene!
If you have someone who wants to get into dnd, just show them this video. No context, no identifying characters, just set this down in front of them like a covered dish and let them experience dungeons and dragons because this video is exactly what dnd is
