great video! I loved back in the late 70s when you got out of the tram and walked around and got to go through Lucille Balls' dressing room and the Universal monsters would be walking around... The boulders rolling down the hill and picking up the "rocks"... long ago but great memories!

There use to be a Big Boy statue identical to that at the Eat N Park we went to on the corner of 51 & Streets Run Road, in South Hills area of Pittsburgh, Pa. Good yo see you & Natalie. I loved looking over Hollywood Studios, seeing the Hollywood sign.
I was just at Bob's Big Boy Friday with my son. What a great restaurant! Love that you're back in SoCal. Natalie is a terrific addition. Love what you're doing Adam. Keep up the great Vlogs. We love em!
The VIP Tour is amazing!! You really should do it. When we went in 2019 , we did the morning tour. It included breakfast, your tour guide you go front of the line on all the rides, walk around all the lots have lunch and finish your rides. Dracula was at our lunch which was delicious. We also went into the prop warehouses. I saw a desk from the Perry Mason show. With everything that we got it was worth it. I want to do Warner Bros. this year. Have fun!
You just can not go wrong with Bob’s Big Boy. I love that they filmed one of my favorite movies there, Heat. I hope they return to being open 24hr. Loved heading out around 1 in the morning. I am with you Adam, as good as the Big Boy is, man that chili spaghetti there is great. They also have, in my opinion, the best Blue Cheese dressing on the planet and the best season salt. Oh and that Hot Fudge cake they have there. Man now I am hungry.
I enjoy all your content. Your rambling solo stuff, travel, hanging out with Dylan and all the others. But I especially like when yo hang with Natalie , she’s smart, funny and knows her history. Thanks .
Experiencing these views through your eyes helps me a ton. Even though it’s on my bucket list to find ways to get to these places myself, and document my own experience, I thank you for giving usme the opportunity to use my magnification to see these views. Thanks Adam.
My best friend and I from high school which goes back to the mid 70's would do the same thing. Drive around the L.A./Holly wood area just to see what we could see. Sometimes we would come across where they where filming something.
They were filming Back to the Future when I took the tram tour (around Christmas 1984). Took a night tour and the theater was all lit up. I remember thinking I need to try and remember what movie they were filming.... That turned out to be not a problem.
There is an old apartment building on the Hill that used to be old apartments back in the day, (I believe just called the Hpllywood Hotel) ....was apartments and now converted to a "hotel". Gated entry with code, perfect view of the Hollywood sign and part of the property of that beautiful Japanese/ Restaurant/ property, I enjoyed staying there despite it's lacking in some details, I believe it was Sycamore that our place was on. Great location, great view
@@chase055 i have a picture too. 1979. I was 12. There was a restaurant on the property called Victoria Station that was constructed of train cars. We were seated in a car with Joanne Worley and her family. It may still be there.
I only did the backlot tour once back in January of 1987 on the day of the Super Bowl that year. It was really cool because the clock tower, Lou's Diner, and the 50's style gas station were still there. I'm guessing because they probably had already made up their minds to make a trilogy at that point and left everything in place. As most BTTF fans know, originally there were no planned sequels.
Lol there was a Bob's Big Boy in Lake Forest when I was a kid. Practically grew up on Pappy Parker's Fried Chicken since Bob's Big Boy was my little brother's favorite place to eat so we ate there many times! Ahh, such great memories! :-)

That meal at Big Boy restaurant looks so good. It really makes me hungry, and makes me want to go out to eat. I like the spaghetti and garlic bread and French fries.

Fun fact about the Bob’s Big Boy of Burbank. Hayley Mills and her double Susan Henning while shooting the Parent Trap on the Disney lot, used to dress up as twins and go to BBB for lunch several different times during shooting. According to Hayley, Susan had on a prosthetic nose while shooting and she went to the restaurant wearing it. Also, Susan Henning dated Elvis Presley.
Last time I took the Universal Backlot tour was way back in the 70s, They took us through the parting of the red seas, Saw the Psycho house were the high lights

Adam, that first tram you and Natalie saw go up the hill towards Universal is not the VIP tram. The small one you saw on the backlot is. I use to work for Universal. The one that went up the hill is a free shuttle available to anyone that caught public transportation to get to Universal and cannot manage walking up the hill.
