That is something that i realize, both Diaz and Gakpo is showing a great evolution in the position. They're really cooking, both want to start and are showing capability for that. We need more and more this type of competition in the squad.

Agree with everything you say. However, I notice in the comments that all the focus is on Gakpo/Diaz., but what about Jones? He played a blinder in my op. He gets quite a lot of criticism at times, but like Gakpo and Diaz, he is really maturing as a player. if all those guys can keep it going throughout the season we should be able to make a good push for the title.
Nice to see him smiling and getting into and better as the game went along. He'll play an important role closing out games and giving Ryan Rijkaard a breather once in awhile. Rewatch the Japan-China AFC qualy mate- alongside Taku, they were both immense in demolishing Team Winnie the Pooh 7-0.
listen i like endo a lot and want him to play well for us but am i blind? did we watch the same game? i thought this was one of his worst performances gave the ball away too much and didnt have enough urgency i think gravenberch is clear which is why i want endo to start pulling off some good performances so he can push gravenberch and compete for that 6 spot as its always good to have more depth
I love it when we can rotate players and the players answer. We need depth and we need quality and we have that so far. Quansah and Endo need more play time too to boost their mentality, YNWA.
100% I love the guy, he is the fittest player in his 30's other than Ronaldo. He's legit for 2-3 more years in him at UCL level play and with our current attacking depth we don't HAVE to play him every game, we can rest him in small games to ensure he can play in the big games.
Endo is not the type of player whose greatness can be understood in just a few minutes of play. He shows his value through maintaining the team's balance and stability over the full 90 minutes. He is indeed a quality player.

I know Alison has been brilliant for us, but Kelleher is equal if not slightly better now than Alison now. When he is in the team he works his socks off for the squad, maybe it's time to cash in on Alison when we can. This squad seems to have stepped up to another level that Klopp couldn't get us to. I would love to see kelleher become Liverpool's no.1 GK after allison but sadly we ain't gonna see that. Plus looking back now i feel klopp didn't knoe how to utilise these players well.
