@@hoopersassociation2157 Unfortunately injury affected his performance in the Premier League and sadly even more so in the European Championship playing for Hungary.
I have great respect for Jürgen Klopp but I questioned his decision to use Szobo for full 90 minutes from his start at Liverpool. Then he got injured, exhausted. Szobo should have been given 20-30 minutes at his debut matches as a talented substitute then 40-60 minutes before playing full matches in probaly the highest intensity football league in the world.
I have much higher hopes for Arne Slot. He seems to have a better and clearer expectations for each of his players plus he uses substitutions more rationally.

In Japan the bench warmers must support and celebrate the team on the field as it is equal to fighting for the team. It's their culture from the school days, especially in baseball.

Under klopp we were ruthless in attack but we’re always vulnerable of counter attacks from the opposition
Under slot we have seem to almost nullify those counter attacks

Agreed,,,we saw in pre seasons,.we were not conceding goals so easily as we did last season and the lads have taken that into the season proper, ..let's hope they keep it that way.
A bit too early to make conclusions but have to say, indeed the defence looks much solid now. Its not hard metal football anymore but slot ball.

Klopp want quick press for fast atk transition with the risk of being countered instead, Slot want to use press to trap opponents while keeping the formation he wants. That's why he control the game more, less risk, & less vulnerable to counter atk. The real question, is our squad deep enough for whole season?

I like what i'm seeing from Slotball. So far, he's shown to be able to create various attacking movements around the box. Way more creative than what Klopp used to do. I'm excited as a LFC fan for this new era. Hope & pray it will come with loads of trophies as well.

What I really like - is Robbo running forward! I missed it a lot since Trent was inverted. And now we are able to have 2 super-powerful wingbacks creating danger again!
We barely saw often in the recent season and that affected robbos performances but now seems like it's back, the whole team is brilliant Macca doing what he does just playing simple I love it

Not a liverpool fan but I genuinely can't believe there were people who wrote of Slot. Anyone with proper ball knowledge would've known he'll bring what he did with Feyenoord to Anfield. Slot was never the kind of guy to make big name signings if he didn't need to, and the most money he spent on one transfer was only about 7million. Think about that. The passing and build up Arne brought is beautiful.
Not sure if people are being disrespectful towards Slot or just revering Klopp as a manager. Slot is quietly bringing his knowledge and skills to the table and game by game, he will shut up the naysayers. Most of them being outside Liverpool circles.
