No, because the battery doesn't last that long. Simply buy a dashcam with "bump detection", which is the device specially made for this job. Is it water proof
Can you leave it plugged in while recording so the battery doesn't die?
Hi I've got the cop cam version of this and I can plug it in with a small 2,000 milliamps external battery pack unit. .. it does its job. I'm concerned that the battery is charging it all the time and the unit just get warm very warm hope it just doesn't burn it out
Prize ????
Whats battery backup?
I just got the camera and was trying to understand how it works. I charged the camera and was able to turn it on. The camera saw it as a DV15 device. I let the camera connected for sometime to the computer and after it got quite hot to the touch. Camera is off and it will not turn on any longer. Windows no longer recognize it. I was never able to see a video from the camera.
same
I was watching to find out about motion detection, can you update it so you show the feature please ?
how you can be sure you rec something ,need to put the sd card in phone or computer
Thank you so much. Very detailed and helpful. You've really informed my pending decision.
Did you buy it?
It’s been 2years. Did you buy the cam? If so, is it still working?
Is anybody going to show how to put camera in motion detection mode
Technology changes so fast that seeing the 2000/2003 info suggests you should probably update and/ or remove this video.
This has been marketed fairly recently under other names, including CopCam on TV & also sold in Walmart in the "As Seen On TV" rack.
Not really some people still have this cam & needs the info. Thx.
I'm not understanding how you are receiving the footage. How are you viewing it. Does it only record for so long or is it live view that I can watch from an app while im at work...
I think you can only see the footages you took when you plug it into your computer, either with a usb or use the memory
Come on Vlad! Where is the motion detection???
can i connect it with wifi or bluetooth to my smartphone an use it as camera withoutrecording?
Of course not. It is a camera.
Hey Mate, Do you know if you can hook up an external battery for longer run time?
I was wondering the same! I was thinking if you plug it into an external power bank (ones that are portable that you charge them up and go) maybe that could work?
If you leave it on charge will it keep on ? And record
Very informative! Thanks
And is there a app to watch it on while you are away?
Hi, is this camera is loop recording? Can we leave it recording at home while we are out? Thank you
