- Опубликовано: 12 сен 2024
- In this episode we uncover possibly the best trail we've ever ridden in Missouri when we take a quick ride through the Mark Twain National Forest. We take our Jeep Jk Wrangler Unlimited along with my buddy's Jeep Commander to get in some off-roading, trail riding, camping, overloading, mudding, and exploring! We spend the night in our Roam Vagabond Rooftop Tent and try out our new Tuff Stuff Awing and Shower Combo. We cook up some great campfire food and enjoy a great weekend in the midwest!

Turn the lights off its light out
I agree with the tread lightly, its a national forest not a ohv park
What are you referring to?
He’s referring to the start of the video where you are driving up a hillside for no reason. You’ve got a lot of footage in your videos that goes against the Tread Lightly philosophy. Won’t be any trails open if we destroy the areas we like to visit.
He gives jeeps a bad reputation
Kudos getting those kids outdoors, culturing a love for nature.
Very cool, care to share any info on where this is located? I'm new to the STL area and would love to wheel here.
What is the name of the trail? GPS coordinates? Town near by.
I am going to be at smorr on sat and we are looking for trails to run sun in the national forest.
Are these all numbered roads Or is it a trail system you can be on? Or do you have to stick to numbered roads? Looks like a lot of fun.
Download onx offroad. It highlights all the trails in green. Mark twain has miles upon miles of trails
lets drive around during the day time with every light and light bar turned on so we look bad ass.
Justin haha! Not sure it was the case here, but the camera lens picks up more light than eyes. So it may be darker than it looks. Thanks, for watching!
Off-Road Recon maybe haha. Using a lot of battery for nothing. Over working your alternator
For sure!
Other than the lights! Did you like the video? Haha
You are supposed to have your lights on when off- roading.
People that do not stay on the trail gives everyone else a bad name, and gets trails shut down.
Can you provide a gps location of this trail? I want to check it out but I am 4 hours away and google maps isnt clear lol
Love that trail... you mentioned new springs! Did u lift the Jeep? Went from one height to a new height?
Went from a 1.5 inch puck to 3” springs. Made a huge difference!
Off-Road Recon got it!!! Your Utah Trip is going to be awesome
Great video! Can’t wait for Moab.
Heck yeah! Wish you all were going!
I've been riding quads here for years and I'm a little amazed you fit all the way through in a Jeep.
What part of Mark Twain is this? Everywhere I’ve found in Mark Twain is very limited riding.
Very nice!! Looked like a ton of fun
It was! Get your rig!
Cool bro
Hey guys. Good video. I'm in Wentzville and would love to hook up and ride sometime. 2014 Rubicon, 3" w/ 35s.
Where can I find a list of trails in Missouri, I want to start overlanding, but I was not sure were trails are located? Thank you
Love the channel
Thank you for watching! National forest is always good. Also service roads. There is a lot of Facebook groups for Missouri Jeeping, give that a try.
-Ben
You can maps of the forestry service roads at the forestry stations from what ive been told. Theres also an app for phones but it doesnt work so well in the back country.
Just make sure the trails or road(s) is numbered. If not, if it doesn't have a number, its a unauthorized trail or road, which is supposed to be off-limits to motorized vehicles...
Did you air down?
I’m not seeing much sidewall flex?
Depends on the ride and day. Don’t believe we did this day. Typically we do.
Another great video and trail looks very cool. What part of the Forrest is that. Area wise.
thanks! Garrison area.
Off-Road Recon I’ve been in the Garrison area a number of times but I don’t recognize this. Is this west of Garrison among the forest roads?
What district of the Mark Twain is this in? I seen you started on Fs 556
Near garrison, MO.
Great video, looks like everyone is having fun! Did you air down on the climb?
That also looks like some really great trails! I am going to have to make a trip to Missouri to check out the back raods.
We did not! i'm sure it would have made a huge difference!
@@BenandBrandi Gotcha.. It did not look like the tires were contouring to the rock surface much so I assumed you did not but figured I would ask. However, it seemed you got through it all pretty decently and did well without airing down. Again, it looked like a great trail system and everyone had a good time!
Is that around the Springfield area?
Yes. Out towards garrison.
Off-Road Recon appreciate it. I live in Poplar Bluff. That isn’t to far away.
Nice video!!
Thank you! And thank you for watching!
Awesome needing to find trails up a little more north but cool trail
Where about?
Ay bro it’s me when we played fortnite I have two accounts RaidedRouter and the call number account I love you hope we get to play again soon
Your the man! Thanks for the comment! Stay tuned to our channel here! 😉
Keep it up
You got it!
Just a reminder there's a 98.5% stock vehicle following you
No stock rigs on this trip. You must be referring to the lifted commander with 31 inch tires on it?
It didn't change too much. Factory it had 29.5 on it I'll still call it stock all it has is tires and some spacers. Anyways that was a great video beautiful spot
Thank! Check out some of our newer content!
What time of year was this
I honestly don’t remember. But if you look at the upload date, it would be about a week before that! Thanks for watching!
Hey guys just found you, just Monday I bought my first Jeep ever. It’s bone stock, 17 JK,and I was wondering if there’s anybody in the southeast Missouri area who welcomes newbie drivers. I’m looking to do some modifications to it may be raised up a little bit put 35s on it and more any help or advice you can give me I would welcome.
We have a ton of info on Jeeps and beginner trails on our channel! Stay tuned with us on upcoming rides in the area also!
Hows your i pad mounted
Wall mount brackets from amazon. doubled sided tape.
If that guy in the patriot can make it anyone can wtf
Haha! That’s a commander!
Dude that is not technical.
Can't say much for that fuel tank flopping around like that?
??
Where is this at in Mark Twain?
This is near Garrison MO. You can find the full maps on our website. Www.benandbrandi.com
There's a ton of good trails in mark twain
Agreed! We are lucky to have it!
@@BenandBrandi I just spent the weekend of and week after labor day camping and trail riding out there
What exhaust does your dads Jeep have?
I’ll ask him.
Where the hell is that trail??
😉
Where in the world is this trail??
You should be able to get locations of all our rides on www.off-roadrecon.com
Girl in video like…….. wtf are we doing?
Remind me?
Deteoit locker ftw all ways on :)
Haha yeah he needs something! Just airing down would have been a huge help.
Great Video but your face are covering the trails
Next mod # glare proof lense for all those lights during daylight
Great video nice jeep. Now we need the driver to get them skills polished. Throttle control is horrible man two-footed driving gas break gas break. Nice and easy on that throttle keep that jeep at a slow creep. Must be a horrible ride. Not just the off-roading. The drivers jerkiness gas break gas break gas break gas break gas break gas break. Turn off them lights it's daytime quit trying to look cool. How about you Look cool with some good driving skill
I don’t drive with my feet at all… I’m using the cruise control buttons and the e brake… 😉
@@BenandBrandi that explains a lot.
