Truly great movie, and great acting from a time British was best
Keep Rocking the good stuff 🤗
Looks like another British gem. 💎
👍 I couldn't have said it any better
Then watch these two more gems
Meet Mr. Callaghan, 1954-Derrick De Marney.
The twenty questions murder mystery AKA Murder on the air, 1950-Robert Beatty.
indeed a gem
Fun movie. Quirky, eccentric yard inspector that the Brits do so well.
A mystery. British. 2 words-Thank you!
Great Fun! Thanks for posting.
Can't watch this without thinking of Harry Enfields brilliant 'Arsenal vs Liverpool' sketch
best game football ever 'it's Charles ' Charlie ' Charles'
Even though this Arkansas old man had a little trouble following some of the dialogue here & there, I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful movie.
What, they don't talk that way in Arkansas?
@@aspenrebel No, and they don't talk that way here in Texas, either-lol.
I read captions whether I can hear plainly or not. When I can't read books, it helps to keep the pathway open that our Brains use. Similar to a lot of things, like playing a Piano, "what ya don't use, ya lose", is how my Science Prof. put it. As we age, it's vital to 'exercise' the Brain to ward off some forms of Dementia.
@@rescuepetsrule6842 you don't say?
Key still on top of the door !
England was a different place then....
Wonderful dialogue - no hums --
I'm so glad this was posted using the Stable Volume option, or the audio would be blaring during the game one minute, and down to a speaking voice the next! This kinda disappointed me, with the lack of clues until the last minute to see who the person was. No fair- :( . Even in death, Greta Gynt's hair was perfect-LOL. TY!
Thank you good movie
I guess moviegoers of the the 1930s were, compared to me, supermen and -women. I sure as hell am lost when in the very first reel the movie carefully introduces some 20 different characters. Maybe it was more than that. Anyway, I'm completely at sea, with all those characters, and haven't the faintest idea who is who.
I stopped watching at 5 minutes in.
Are you male? I guess that’s why -
Play it at 75% speed, watch it twice and take notes if necessary. This money is a must!!!!
Yep, another gem!
Here became of Esmond Knight 😊
Ok I missed that.. who did what to whom?
Ok I'm confused.
Algorithm comment.
Huh?
Being this serious about a children's game. They wouldn't last two minutes playing real football.
