This is incredible! Watch what happens when they put their heads together and make the knocking sound.... 1:33 They both then come up and say the same words AT THE SAME TIME. That looks like intelligent communication in their native tongue to me. This can't be simply mimicry. This is a plan that was communicated from one bird to another to say the words in unison. I'll just let that sink in....
Great birds you have there! My quaker parrot responded very loudly to this (protest at all that cuteness? Competition?). We used to have feral ringnecks in our past, and she understands "bird in a box".
This video is so adorable. These birds would make me not want to do anything else but play with them. I love it when they both talk at once and sound like they are saying the same thing. They are so cute. Lucky you :)
two blissful minutes of pure silliness. What are their names and how old are they? We cared for and lived with a cockatoo and CAG for the past 17 years. So wonderful to have them in our lives.
Best proof that not only single parrots are tame and speak. Isn't a pair of them even funnier and nice to watch? Parrots need an opposite-sex-/same-species-mate for beeing happy! Cute video!
It sounds like they said "What, dammit!" as well as another sentence i listened for: 1:30 : "Hey, what's that? Hey hey-" "WHAAAT?!" "What are you doing?"
They're like mirrored images and absolutely stunning! I have a male blue IRN and a male Alexandrine, same age, and they display to each other a bit, but not like little twins! I'm actually starting to wonder if my IRN is a female. I found out the DNA place had over 60% of my breeder's birds wrong at the time we brought him home. My Alex has had his ring for 6 months now but my blue ringneck only has the faint white around the back still, so I started wondering today if he is a she. I'm trying to find out if females ever do the heart shaped wing display. I've found a few that do, but the evidence isn't overwhelming for me. I'm going to try the pendulum next, the pendulum has a higher rate of success than the DNA company that was used, how crazy is that in this day and age? LOL
This has got to be one of my favorite videos on youtube! I always seem to find my way back to it and just have to watch. Your birds are just so adorable and happy!
They're adorable, but they'd drive me batty. My face would always hurt from smiling so much. Seriously, though, I love the way they interact with each other.
Absolutely precious..when one kissing the mirror the other came behind and started kissing his buddy..the shock of 'oh my, this is a threesome' was so funny !!! you have wonderful birds..and sweet sweet sounds. it is evident they are loved.
Hmmm but u will have to buy it when the parrot is a baby so that u can train him and take care if him..keeping birds in cages is prohibited in Islam ..but if u train a bird and a bird loves u then its ok
You know what they are saying? They know that the phone makes noise and they are trying to make it "TALK" BACK TO THEM! These birds are very smart. Two birds make not only for companionship but also added intelligence.
They are very precious, you made a fantastic video with your cute parrots, congratulation! It makes me laugh of delight. Thank you so much for sharing!! :-)
I have never seen Parrots interact like that before. They even spoke a few words like as though they knew how to communicate that way! And what's their deal with the cell phone? They sure are acting weird and cute around it. They look like they trying to ask each other the same thing. Same with the mirror. I'm simply... stupified after seeing this. ^.^
thats hilliarious and when they really get going it sounds so psycho and like a 1960s sci-fi classic. The little kisskiss after the whatyadoing is perfect.
It kinda looks like their competing with each other....for their owners attention? So sweet to see this...so smart to see this behavior with 2, instead of one.
These two are quite the characters! There is a clear leader and follower. They remind me of something, but I cant put my mind on it right now...so cute and fun to watch, very entertaining!
Man, I never get tired of seeing this. The way they synchronize their actions, first bowing their heads down low and chirping and then suddenly standing back and going "What!" is just fascinating!
I love how they both look at each other and then say the exact same thing to the other

These two buddies are smarter than some people I know.
two blissful minutes of pure silliness. What are their names and how old are they? We cared for and lived with a cockatoo and CAG for the past 17 years. So wonderful to have them in our lives.
HAHAHA WTF, They got such a great little game together.
The last one they started out of sync, so 1 of them said "restart" and they did. HAHAHAHA

1:31 "...scaredy cat" "WHATT!!!"
Cutest thing ever. This makes me want to go to the pet store & buy some. It sounded like he said "what are you doing" at 1:30.

IRNs look like a barrel of fun. "What are you doing?" seems to be a favorite of the species. lol
"what, damn it?!"

I just imagine living with these birds... waking up in the middle of the night from: "What damnit?! eep-eep-eep-eep! What are you doing...?"...
Did I hear someone say koochie koo. These two need to take it on the road. Way too cute! They finish each others sentences.
