I love videos like these, it’s the adult equivalent of going to ‘toy’s R us’. Mooching around looking at all that cool stuff whilst stuffing a hot dog down your neck, heaven. Thanks for the video.
Cool to see Riversports host this event. If not for Riversports I wouldn't have been able to progress nearly as much as I have. Well worth the 3 hour drive to get my laps in.
Hey Dan, thanks for the vid. I know that you are more of a paddle guy and a young whippersnapper but there are a lot of us older geezers and fisher-people who opt for a motor. I bought the Jackson Bite FD with the motor back when it was available but those doo-doo heads discontinued the motor option, NOT COOL! I absolutely LOVE their marriage between the motor and the Bite FD. I love the kick up outdrive! So far there are no other kayak companies that have such a simplistic motor option. Unless Jackson comes out with a motor option as simple as their first version, they will have permanently LOST a customer. As you can tell I'm not real happy with them. All of the hardware and cables and modifications just to have a motor on other kayaks is absurd in my opinion. I want simple, I don't want complicated cables for foot steering and lift/drop cables for the motor. You got me into the kayak world pre-covid. Thank you for all you do. I'M WATCHIN YOU!!! Fogeddaboutit!!
Wish you found out how much the new slayer 10 and when the release for the new awesome upgrade slayer is going to be, can't wait to get my hands on one
Whoa I haven’t heard about the slayer lte. Any chance you have any more information on it or plan on getting one to review? I can’t find anything online about it- even native’s website doesn’t seem to mention it
I saw a Stohlquist display, and I thought they had been bought out by another company and had decided to cease operations of paddlesports equipment (including PFD’s). Did they change their minds now? Thought maybe you might have the scoop on that, since they were there at the show.
I didn’t know about the swell kayaks until this video, thanks for covering them.
They are very cool boats. Based off the classic Ocean kayak scupper pro
Interesting and informative. Thanks, Dan!

@@jipples9934 awesome analogy. Dang I miss that Toys R Us feeling

That’s rad that this is local for you. Pretty epic facility! I ran it in a rack raft and a little 3 man Aire raft. We had a ball.
It was great seeing you again at this PTC Colab! Fantastic info, demos and people!
Really enjoyed it as well!
Hell yea ✊
I still haven't even found a manta in a store to look at one yet
Nice vid as always and hope ya ran into the folks from okc kayak i love them and their shop
I did actually. Really nice folks.
@@masonfethkenher1969 OKC Kayak is awesome
Thanks!
Thanks. I've been debating about getting a much better paddle
If you love paddling and do it often a good paddle is the best thing you can invest in. Even more important than the boat in many ways!

Thanks for tuning in. With my shoulder situation I may not be a strict paddle guy forever. May be looking at pedal options soon!

2025 product that was released to dealers. It will be coming out to consumers at a later date. I didn’t get that info.

They did get bought out but they are 100% moving forward with a PFD line. The hired sales reps and everything.
@@HeadwatersKayak Thanks Dan, good to hear!
Hey friend :-)
Hey hey!
Any new crossover kayaks?
Not this year.
I want scuper 16
Paddle boards?
There were a few, but nothing new or groundbreaking.
Nah on Aquabound. Bending Branches #1
Umm you do realize its the same company right? And Aquabound makes the nicer stuff.
