It's funny how every skater does the frontside flip another way :D When i do them regular i do them extremely like a kickflip but whenever i do them switch i always do them like a hardflip wich looks way cooler :D Also probs for this extremely good tutorial :) Could you please do one for nollie big heel ? i'am struggling with that trick for so long :)
Kaktus Crew for my opinion the Kickflip way looks way better because you can catch it super clean and you can do it into noseslides or boardslides. The hardflio motion can look flimsy quite easily.
@@jonasgoller7105 Yeah I know it's just a matter of taste, but I think the hardflip style looks less controlled. Especially when you don't overdo the kickflip flick part.
Hey buddy your trick tip videos are by far, by super duper far, better than any others out there. I hate when kids make trick tip videos and theyre laughing or trying to act cool instead of teaching or the worst is when someone just says pop it, catch it, ride away clean it's like no shit Sherlock. Keep it up man your really helping me. Any chance of a backside tailslide video? Or flipping out of a manual? Anyway thanks dude
Know it's kinda late but the advice of just doing it is actually good, because alot of people tend to overthink a trick and think there's a predetermined way they have to do it instead of doing it a way they find natural.
Thanks a lot! This helps a lot to understand what's going on in every trick. Very useful and detailed. Keep on skating and sharing your knowledge. Greetings from Spain
Thanks that really helped! I've got my kickflips and front 180s down really well but I couldn't quite figure out how to do a frontside flip until I watched this. And you explained it in really good detail. Thx. :D
im just starting to learn these and its a weird feeling to be in the position. like i have my back foot in the center pocket and i just cant get full 180 flip. so i have to have my back foot in the bottom pocket and i am not use to it yet but also i have my shoulders goofy - anti clockwise a bit to the nose of the board to do the 180 as if my shoulders were centered like ollie and kickflip i would never get the 180. i find to concentrate more on trying to flip in 90 direction when u pop rather than like say 60 or something. im also not use to popping it above the board. my weight is more comfortable a bit back from the board but i never nearly land it so ive got to get use to popping it above me. i cant do hardflips but can do kickflip and pop shuv and ollie to the trick. thanks for the tips ill give them a go and i should get this trick down next time i skate.
Whenever I land these, they're either low or slighty under rotated, like 150°. I'm gonna make a Today I Learned on them soon, but in the mean time, any tips?
PLZ People A Frontside flip can be done any way as long as you are flicking it and it is not point on vertical if it’s going horizontal or in between horizontal and vertical it is a Frontside Flip
does anyone have the problem when your learning a trick like one day you can land them a few times when your practicing and another day you can't even come close? been awhile since I actually tried to learn a new trick..but its aggrevating
+jack livenspargar i think it's personal preference. personally, i have a really hard time with any backside trick (even regular 180s) so bs flips are harder but it may be different for other people. i'd say find which 180 you're more comfortable with first and then try to add the flip to it
DawgsSkateboardingChannel i think they're a bit easier fakie than regular because you have the momentum going with you. definitely try them out fakie and see which one feels better

Help my front foot keeps ending up underneath the board. What should I try to fix it?
AllTimeSoup well that just means you flick down, so flick up
I keep hitting my frontfoot on the board alot of times, when i try to get above the board and land

They're the same trick, just how it's performed. But his are a bit in the middle.
i still dont get the difference between fs flips and illusion flips, like isnt an illusion flip a fs flip?

u mean hardflip body varial?
This trick only for tall ppl?

you kinda make it look like a 360 flip or a varial kick flip is easier
Are backside or frontside flips easier
