(Donaghy's version is that Martino bought "a ChapStick or something.") It wasn't so strange that they'd be relaxed together, and not just because of the drugs (for his part, Battista says he was on Percocet, OxyContin and cocaine at the time, and skipped the marijuana). Battista and Donaghy were not close, but the three in the car were hardly strangers. They had attended high school together at Cardinal O'Hara in the 1980s. In the months prior, Battista says he gave Martino valuable NFL picks for Donaghy to bet on. Battista says Donaghy thanked him with a signed Kobe Bryant jersey. By the time they were in the Honda, Battista had known for years, through gambling contacts, that Donaghy was betting on NBA games, including games he refereed.”

Would like to see you bring him back for another interview
Take this guys version of events with a grain of salt, not saying he’s lying but there’s very conflicting stories.
“On the other hand, what Battista remembers most about that meeting was that Donaghy and Martino -- lifelong friends by all accounts -- dragged Battista to a gas station convenience store so they could buy rolling papers and share a joint in the backseat of Battista's Honda. (Donaghy's version is that Martino bought "a ChapStick or something.")
It wasn't so strange that they'd be relaxed together, and not just because of the drugs (for his part, Battista says he was on Percocet, OxyContin and cocaine at the time, and skipped the marijuana).
Damian Frederick I plead the 5th
Go Sun's, Dam you Tim and the MOB
This is the referee that fixed games and screwed over the 2002 Sacramento Kings against the Kobe and Shaq Lakers in the Western Conference Finals 🤦🏽♂️. The Kings were literally destined to win it all because the New Jersey Nets wouldn’t have stood a chance in the NBA Finals. I remember it just like yesterday.
He didn’t ref any of those games your right about the fix but he wasn’t apart of it
@@MrBlackghost34 yes he did
@@justinalley3399 He didn't referee the infamous game 6
This is incredible stuff. I mean it's obvious at times, but hearing a former referee say that games are rigged or biased, is still shocking.
Im never betting again. It has nothing to do with the game
