    The secret is in the lower mids and making them thump. Sounds thick bro!

    Bro do u know which combo amps (under 300$) that can help me get the tone like this? I just want one to practice with my 7string Ibanez

    • @voxterh.6166
      @voxterh.6166  9 месяцев назад +2

      If you want this EXACT tone, you can get a yamaha thr 10 2, it's around the $300 price range.

      @@voxterh.6166 yea cool, cause I really love this Cannibal's tone and also the tone of Suicide Silence in their first 2 album. I searched a lot of combo amps out there (Blackstar ID Core, Boss Katana Mini, Fender Mustang LT25,... bla bla bla) and also this Yamaha, maybe I should think about getting the Yamaha one...

      @@voxterh.6166 and does it work better with a distortion pedal? Or just getting worse? Cuz I think a small amp like this may not work well with a dist. pedal but I dunno what u guys think?

    • @voxterh.6166
      @voxterh.6166  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@duydong7568 it can handle pedals in general, but the amp imo has enough distortion for a good metal tone so you don't really need it. Also with adding a distortion pedal you'd need a noise gate as well.

      I used a yamaha thr 10 2 in this video. Nowadays I use amp plug ins.

    • @Namemysiraw
      @Namemysiraw Год назад +1

      I heard you can even get those joyo zombie 2 and get insane depth for death metal riffs what do you need for those plug ins I'm so old school lol like do you just need a regular desktop or laptop and interface and that's it

    • @voxterh.6166
      @voxterh.6166  Год назад

      @@Namemysiraw Yeah I actually got a joyo bantamp zombie but I wasn't too satisfied with it until I ran a metal zone though the fx loop. Using the metal zone I got a decent metal tone. Haha no worries I didn't know how to use plug ins either until recently. Yes, you need an audio interface. I use and irig hd 2, it's very simple to use and not that expensive, especially used ones. Basically the guitar plugs into the irig, and the irig is powered through USB to a computer. Then I have an aux cable running out from the irig to my thr amp which I basically use as speakers nowadays. I would recommend checking out some videos on a plug in called the otto audio 11 11, it's a great metal plug in to start with. Hope this helps \m/
