PVD Chrome will not pit, peel or corrode like traditional chrome plating. Is it resistant to road salt ,brake dust pitting and corrosion from these elements. Is this implied in the warranty?

Sure they look fine when just finished...I wanna see that same wheel in a year or two see how it is "faring" in mother natures elements...chroming is a process and all this spraying chrome is bush and the quality has to be questioned most definitely...

google pvd wheels PVD finish is commonly used for bathroom fixtures and entry hardware, which are exposed to frequent moisture and/or salt air.

I had mine done 3 years ago, they look just as good today as when I mounted them.

@@rickotto7482 True, but you forget to mention that those PVD finishes (taps, hardware, door handles,...) are placed on top of already chrome plated parts or directly on stainless steel (which already have a high anti-corrosion value) parts --> as the pvd coating itself does not add any anti-corrosion value (or close to nothing). For these wheels, it are the powder coating layers that give the anti-corrosion value.
The process of these wheels is also very different than the PVD used on door handles, tap industry, ... As there the final finish is a very hard PVD coating (without any top coating).

pvd is shit, bought 5 wheels 1500.00 less than 3 yrs. ago flaking off now, told it's a 2 yr. warranty, what the FUCK am I supposed to do now ? fuck worx wheels and pvd ...automotive paint would have lasted much longer,don't fall for it
