Way to go off by yourself to do something dangerous without telling anybody else where you are going Hopper. I wonder where Eleven gets it? Yeah, Billy is totally a racist. RIP Mews the cat.
nah. I see people say Billy is a racist all the time on these Stranger Things reactions and that just isn't the case. the reason he doesn't like Lucas is because every time he's seen him before now, he's seen him from afar and it appears that Max wants nothing to do with him and that he's being aggressive. where might Billy have seen this before? oh right, with his abusive father toward his mother. he was basically telling Max to stay away from people like that who can be aggressive because he doesn't want her to get hurt. kind of ironic because he's also being hella aggressive with her but that's kind of a by-product of his own abuse so I get it.

She broke all the rules and is getting upset when the consequences of her actions are presenting themselves.

Mike was right to not include Max in the party and not tell her about the upside down. I mean she wont even believe when told. And its pretty dangerous. Also they were made to sign NDAs by the govt and are being continuously watched by them. Its risky for them all. And just coz a person is hanging around nearby all the time, you dont include them in your clique without good reason.
To be fair to her, if someone I barely know told me that another world exists, that monsters are real, that a girl with superpowers, etc. I would have the same reaction as her, and in the end, she did believe him and she became part of the party.
Can't let a kid get away with a tantrum. You said she was being bullied, but I say she knows what her powers can do, she KNOWS how much stronger she is than him... but she still used her powers on him for punishing her for breaking the rules. SHE was the bully.
It's not about the punishment, it's about the way he yells at her and get all aggressively angry. In this scenario, he was more of a bully than her since SHE reacts to HIS aggressiveness. Also I'd say she totally restrained herself with her powers.
It was not a tantrum, she reacted to how he was yelling at her. You could call how she behaved with the TV a tantrum, but you have to realise the tv is her only distraction and also her only way to hear and focus on static to go see Mike.

both hopper and eleven are at fault eleven should have not hit him with stuff and hopper shouldn't have yelled at her that way i do think it is a learning curve with hopper though because when you have a child from birth you slowly learn their boundaries and how to deal with them but now all of a sudden he has a pre-teen (an age he's never handled before) and i think they really haven't set those boundaries yet so something like this happens again, not saying hopper is 'right' because he's not but i do get WHY he reacted the way he did and eleven reacted the way she did while acknowledging the whole thing was handled wrong
exactly!! i think the way hop reacted was perfect and completely in character and the way their personalities crash so intensely is what makes their relationship so interesting
@@sk70091 What was he supposed to do then? Tell her not to do it again? With Kids, It's hard to get them to understand. In a way You need to be punished. He didn't abuse her, or touch her in anyway. Then, They Might end up killing hopper or taking him away too for keeping her hidden. He's being a good parent. The more aggressive he is, the more serious it looks. Later on, She will Realise how serious it was. This is better than "grounding". Grounding her for a week isn't going to cover up up fact that she broke 3 rules on purpose, that are keeping her safe and alive, she also almost got caught. I take it that you grew up loved and never disciplined, oh how I envy that childhood. Also, she always sides with the characters that are in the wrong, hmm
@@timebomb7380 he’s being abused himself so it would stand to reason that he’s worried that she is being attacked/abused like his mother was and like he is. in fact, one of the reasons he got in trouble was that he was supposed to be looking out for Max and he wasn’t; so it makes sense that he would get overprotective of her, even if he’s going about it in the wrong way.
I agree, Hopper was scary with his aggressive yelling. I completely understand why the situation escalated on both their sides. But yelling at a traumatized child until she completely breaks from the emotional pain is not the way to go. She was abused and tortured and locked away for so long. Of course she is going to lash out and defend herself. It's all she's known until a year ago. I love Hopper and knowing how scared he was for El breaks my heart too. Doesn't change the fact that he went too far. He's the adult and should make her feel safe.
ppl think billy is racist but maybe he's looking out for max or he doesnt like seeing other ppl be mean to her, considering the only interaction he saw between lucas + max was lucas and max fighting... idk also RIP MEWS!!!!
I was more on Hopper's side when his and eleven's argument started. He told her 3 simple rules,,, and she coldn't follow them.. She then continues to say that no one saw her but 2 people saw her and I think Hopper has a very good reasonable explanation for going off on hr like that. She was being a brat she was being disrespectful because evrything he does is to keep her safe. Hopper has been going through a lot too, trying to keep will and eleven safe. It was also very disrespectful for eleven to call hopper like papa because he (like i already said) is trying to keep her safe but 'papa' almost killed her. so..
So ok I won’t see this but what billy is say to max is she is white he is black and Billy is racists and that why he want Lucasfar away from max with. Is so wrong in so many ways
to be fair i think hopper wasnt way out of line, eleven was pretty much putting everyones safety on the line just to see mike, i think there couldve been a way to arrange that so something like this wouldnt happen but when hopper called her out she really could have just apologized but she threw a fit and used her powers against hopper which is just unfair, tbh she was acting like a bit of a brat. hopper was out of the line as well but his concern is understandable
They were both in the wrong, like any parent-child in a argument, you end up doing and saying thing you regret. But let’s not pretend Hopper never does anything wrong. He never took in consideration El’s feelings and mental health. He lied to her repeatedly for a year, making her believe she would go out “soon” and cut her ties to everyone except him. She started using her powers when he threatened to ban the TV, her only distraction and tie to the rest of the world. I know he was doing that to protect her but he could have handled it better. Just like *spoilers* he did at the end of season 2 and season 3 aka letting Mike come see her.
to see mike? Can you even imagine how she feels ? she was in that cabin for a year without seeing someone she liked and she had already her trauma and el was patient enough.

you definitely get waaaaaaaayyyyyy more backstory about billy in season 3... so be excited!
Tbh I’m always happy when u post something ❤️
Considering the circumstances, I'm on Hopper's side. I understand how Eleven feels, and maybe there could have been other things the two of them could have done to prevent a situation like this, but nobody's perfect and he's doing his best to prevent her from endangering them both and potentially the entire town. She broke all the rules and is getting upset when the consequences of her actions are presenting themselves.
this is so unbelievably irrelevant but we have the exact same coffee mug and i am living for it!
You are my fav commentary youtuber!!
Every time she asks if will is gonna have powers I get angry because I already know that he won’t………. Yes ik it’s 2yrs later
I love your reactions, Ange. I can't wait for you to be all caught up with the rest of the mundo. Can't wait for you to see S3. This is an amazing show. Well written, well acted, well directed, composed, etc, etc, etc. (The King and I) :)..... Also, I subbed!!!!! 😘 🤗 ♥️
I always get so happy when I get the notification for these! These videos are the highlight of my week! 🥰❤️
ok off topic but you look absolutely gorgeous!! And i loved your reaction :)
yaay these vids are what motivates me throughout my day you are such a good reactor and analyzer ❤️❤️❤️
I can't wait for you to see season 3!!
This episode ends with the ominous dong of the clock.
Eleven pissed me off so much this episode
lucas is a cute kid who kicks open doors and jumps out of dumpters HAHAHA STOPPP
Ange's look of offense when the episode ended was brilliant.
Love that u change ur hair every so often!!!! :D
I would have the same reaction as her, and in the end, she did believe him and she became part of the party.
noah / will's actor is amazing
bruh there’s no way she just said hopper is bullying eleven
If Dart doesn't save them all when he sees his dad, Dustin.....
the most said word in angenila's stranger things is "awww"
KEEP GOING!!!! I WISH I COULD GET 2 STRANGER THINGS REACTIONS A WEEK!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU THAT MUCH!!!!
😂 !! Does he shoot fireballs !! 😂
The Superhero films have broken the audience...
Let that imagination run free.
@@miyu1424 wow u wrote alot😮

I think sh'es too innocent to realize Billy was being racist
I want to give Will a hug
the intro was LITERALLY dramatic BUT THOSE SHOTS
i'm really looking forward to you covering the 3rd season, it's dope!!

I can’t wait to see her reaction to the season4 trailer
Yay this just made me so happy because I am eating chick fil a while watching 😊 best reactor out there!!!❤️☺️😊🙂😂
Edit : you liked my comment aaaa and dr. Brenner died honey they didn’t get rid of him he was killed by a demegorgan
chick fil a SLAPS! have a good dinner and enjoy the new video!
Do another umbrella academy!
both hopper and eleven are at fault
eleven should have not hit him with stuff and hopper shouldn't have yelled at her that way
i do think it is a learning curve with hopper though because when you have a child from birth you slowly learn their boundaries and how to deal with them but now all of a sudden he has a pre-teen (an age he's never handled before) and i think they really haven't set those boundaries yet so something like this happens
again, not saying hopper is 'right' because he's not but i do get WHY he reacted the way he did and eleven reacted the way she did while acknowledging the whole thing was handled wrong
exactly!! i think the way hop reacted was perfect and completely in character and the way their personalities crash so intensely is what makes their relationship so interesting
Yes they are both at fault but I am still going to hold Hopper responsible here because he is the adult one and Eleven just a kid.
@@sk70091 What was he supposed to do then?
Tell her not to do it again? With Kids, It's hard to get them to understand. In a way You need to be punished. He didn't abuse her, or touch her in anyway. He was aggressive and she kinda deserved it. If everyone saw her, She Could've been taken away and she would spend the rest of her life in that stupid ass lab. Kids who do things accidentally COULD be grounded, kids who do things on PURPOSE should deserve a worse punishment. Also hopper has alot on his plate rn, so the least she could do is just do what he says.
Reason Billy is playing with a shirt off is cause it’s a Skins Vs Shirts game. Easiest way to tell who’s on your team and who’s not.
Congrats on 100k 🎉
Honestly idk how you were raised but El threw a huge book at hopper really fast and if I did that then I would be locked in my room for a couple days lol
honestly i like that fighting scene between hopper and eleven because it made them feel like a teen girl and her parents fighting. but yeah hopper was being a little dramatic 😂
Nah hopper is in the right here. And that's a fact
I take it that you grew up loved and never disciplined, oh how I envy that childhood. Also, she always sides with the characters that are in the wrong, hmm
I see both sides of the coin
Loved the video! But it felt like 5 seconds🥺 I just wanna see more and mooorreee😅 I’m really excited for episode 5 reaction!🥰
love your videos ♡
Can i just say I LOVE your intro
Ahh I’ve been waiting
Dart : YUMMY cat 😃👍
Dustin : :o
I guess screaming like that to your kids is just a Swedish thing lmao
Waiting for the ball to drop and you realize Billy’s just racist.
nope. he's just worried that Max will end up getting abused just like his mom did by his dad. it's really sad, actually.
@@the_nikster1 nope. he’s obviously racist.
Max's abuser is "worried" that she'll get abused????
The character is just racist 🙄
@@the_nikster1 it's heavily implied that he's just a racist 🤣
@@timebomb7380 he’s being abused himself so it would stand to reason that he’s worried that she is being attacked/abused like his mother was and like he is. in fact, one of the reasons he got in trouble was that he was supposed to be looking out for Max and he wasn’t; so it makes sense that he would get overprotective of her, even if he’s going about it in the wrong way.
I’m meant to be sleeping. I’ve now watched four videos more than I was meant to
i am on hoppers side here...
Please react to season 3 when done with season 2
I agree, Hopper was scary with his aggressive yelling. I completely understand why the situation escalated on both their sides. But yelling at a traumatized child until she completely breaks from the emotional pain is not the way to go. She was abused and tortured and locked away for so long. Of course she is going to lash out and defend herself. It's all she's known until a year ago. I love Hopper and knowing how scared he was for El breaks my heart too. Doesn't change the fact that he went too far. He's the adult and should make her feel safe.
R.I.P. Snuffles the cat 😆
Do you have a schedule?
omg i cant wait for you to see billy’s background. it’s really sad
still dgaf after seeing his background he racist
Awesome
Billy is very racist if you didn’t know lol
billy is into steve mate
ppl think billy is racist but maybe he's looking out for max or he doesnt like seeing other ppl be mean to her, considering the only interaction he saw between lucas + max was lucas and max fighting... idk
also RIP MEWS!!!!
He is confirmed
Is so wrong in so many ways
i saw that you got 2 dislikes i just want to tell you that you DONT deserve them its just some mean Brats that did it for no reason
Please pls pls do reaction to next episode if you can. I love them ❤😚
if you think season one and 2 are good then wait until u see season 3!
to be fair i think hopper wasnt way out of line, eleven was pretty much putting everyones safety on the line just to see mike, i think there couldve been a way to arrange that so something like this wouldnt happen but when hopper called her out she really could have just apologized but she threw a fit and used her powers against hopper which is just unfair, tbh she was acting like a bit of a brat. hopper was out of the line as well but his concern is understandable
Omg I love you
The best actors in this show (in no particular order) are Noah Schnapp (Will), Winona Ryder (Joyce), David Harbour (Hopper), Millie Brown (Eleven) and Dacre Montgomery (Billy)
