I’ll never not talk about Dacre Montgomery’s (Billy’s actor) acting, he just manages the possessed character so well but is still able to portray the scared kid underneath. You can’t get better.
Millie actually fell into Finn out of exhauation because the scene took like 4 days to film. You can see Finn glance at the directors a bit because he was concerned for her, which is adorable lol
Yea when I saw that for the first time I was like omg Millie Bobby brown fell into Finns arms on accident and that Finn glanced at the directors if they should keep filming because he cares about her

Exactly. Jonathon needed the job because he didn't have a family with money he could fall back on. But Nancy needed to be taken seriously and not treated like shit just because she's a woman. They both had points, and they both should've listened to each other better with it. Nancy should've understood the fact that Jonathon just lost a job he *needed* and Jonathon should've understood the fact that Nancy being a woman made things harder for her. They both have things that make things more difficult for them than the other. Jonathon's social class, and Nancy's gender. It's sad, but interesting. I'm glad they brought it up. Because they do both have these things that the other can't actually understand about each other.
Yes, but it was always an understood fact that they might lose their jobs. If Jonathan was THAT concerned about losing his job he shouldn’t have put himself in that situation. It’s not fair that Jonathan agreed to do dirty work with Nancy and then blew up on her afterwards.
Funfact: the scene with eleven and Billy took four days to film and the exhaustion you see is 100% real. when eleven falls into mikes arms that wasn’t scripted. Millie was so tired that she really fell into Finns arms and you can even see him glance at the directors to see if she is okay because he was not expecting it.
Dacre (Billy) actually did a scene where he headbutted the glass and broke it but it didn't make the final cut, that just proves how good of an actor he is
Hopper legit made Mike stay away from Eleven... Thats why Hopper got so mad the episode before cuz he thought Mike was with Eleven when it actually was Max... Come on you can figure this out Ange..

I saw a lot of reactions but they (in the majority) dont really see this little things that for me, make the difference when im watching something. at minute 21:45 millie (eleven) was not performing, the scene demanded so much effort, that it left her so cnasada that in the end she collapsed! so much so that finn (mike) looks at the directors on the scene, because he didn't know what to do
I just found her yesterday and already watched the full outerbanks commentary umbrella academy cometary and stranger things commentary Edit: thanks for the like Angelina
Hopper did in fact force mark to spend less time with el. Lying to el was the best of the two options he had. Either he lie and still have a chance of being with her or he tells el who gets upset at hopper who gets upset at mike for "turning his daughter against him" and then forcing them to break up
That win was elevens but we can’t forget that if it wasn’t for mike in that scene where he hitter billy she could’ve died because nobody cared except for mike
They all cared but was all shocked and terrified because el was being choked and she has powers so if he was hurting her then they must of thought we dont stand a chance I'm assuming and mike had to do something otherwise she would die and he loves her
this is literally probably my favourite episode in s3, specifically bc of the sauna test scene. it is literally so incredible. I remember watching it for the first time and being so scared for their lives! ahaha im nearly finished binging all your Stranger Things videos! in love with this series and i can't wait to binge the rest of your videos after this lol :)
Well actually IT WAS Hopper's fault. He's an adult in a position of power (chief of police) threatening a minor to stay away from his already overprotected and pretty isolated daughter. Mike wasn't just scared, this man literally prohibited him from seeing El until he said so. So yes, it's on him.
How can you possibly be on El's side. Hopper didn't say "be careful." Did you see how he was talking to him he very clearly told Mike to not talk to El for a bit. He probably shouldn't have lied. But he's still just doing whatever it takes to ensure that he can see out in the future. And that's what matters.
Same. And what makes it better is it wasn't scripted. They were filming fire 4 days and millie collapsed out of exhaustion and finn was genuinely concerned. He even broke character for a second and looked at the director to be like "is she ok?" though not actually saying it
Normally when couples fight in tv shows, one side is ''obviously'' more wrong in terms of writing. What I like about Nancy and Johnathan's fight though is that you can see the issue for both sides. You can stand by Nancy because 1. she was being mistreated for being a woman and 2. she was pushing to further the plot and uncover the mystery we already know. And you can stand by Johnathan because 1. we know he needs this job (already set up since S1, he works for his family) and needs to money to go to college and 2. he wants to further his passion, photography and this job gave him both the things he wanted. And yeah, how could they understand each other? Johnathan has been bullied and called a freak, but he also embraced himself for who he is. Still, he is a man and he can't understand what it's like for Nancy. Being a woman, treated the way she was. Meanwhile, Nancy does live in a bubble. Where everything is already set up for her. She doesn't know what it's like for Johnathan to struggle the way he does. Super interesting fight and I could keep dissecting the writing. It's a great example of how to write a good couple's fight.
The scene where EL sends Billy through the wall and falls down and Mike catches her that wasn't in the script but Millie was actually tired and fell during that scene.
Mike is a literal child. If a grown ass man yelled at you and treated you the way he did, you'd do the same thing. Because it IS on Hopper, he is an adult and THREATENED him. All Mike did was listen, because he was a little scared of Hop. Hop told him to stay away, Mike didn't just decide it, Hopper LITERALLY told him to back off for a couple days.
Fun fact: after she through Billy through the wall and collapsed into Wills arms that wasn’t in the script. She was so warn out and pushed to the limit that day that her collapsing and crying was actually Millie
Angela, I do remember looking at this episode this episode was really intense I was cheering for Jonathan and Nancy and Mike and 11 and Lucas and his sister. I think hopper was brave
That part where where 11 and Billy are basically just straining and yelling, proves to me that the right people actually could make a good, live action DBZ movie or mini series. It's really hard to put that much effort into straining and screaming for imaginary reasons, but they did it, and it didn't look awkward at all.
Is it just me or is she so biased, siding with Nancy all in without considering Jonathan's reason, Jonathan was right like wtf, maybe because she's had everything handed to her on a silver platter as well? She has never been the breadwinner of her family
