Eleven and Billy's scene in this episode is so underrated. Coz like some people think el is nothing without her powers but if you think about it, she managed to free Billy from the mind player just by "talking" to him.

I always forget just how much happens in this episode. It feels like it has at least two or three episodes' worth of content, but manages to not feel overloaded or rushed.

the song at the end, "we can be heroes," was the song that was played when joyce first encountered the demigorgon and was hugging jonathon, and will's "body" was discovered and mike ran to his mom. aka: the FIRST time this show made many of us tear up
It was such an amazing final episode. The acting was on point, Dacre Montgomery in particular. You felt for every character and the pain at the end hurt so bad. Thank you again Ange for sharing your experience with us! Can’t wait to watch season 4 along with you hopefully soon!
hopper's letter NEVER fails to make me sob. i'm emotionally scarred lol. this series is one of my favs. the character growth, the humor, the ACTORS, the camera work, the soundtrack. its just amazing. i literally can't wait any longer for season 4.

Seeing this reminded me of how much I weeped like a maiden for the last half of the episode basically. I think being a dad made everything sting that little bit extra. The neverending story part made me happy as can be though -cause old enough to know-.

I left it for ages too, but a friend got me to watch it, we literally binged it in a few days while getting blazed. Have you noticed the journey of the blue bracelet? It was something that was pointed out by a fan and I was obsessed. Hop’s bio daughter Sarah wore the blue bracelet first, and after her death Hopper wore it. Then, after Hopper adopts El, she wears the bracelet. It’s so cute

My expectations for season 4: - Hopper will be alive, but he'll show up only mid season - Same will happen to El's powers, it will come back at the perfect time - They moved to another city, so they'll have to go to another school, and I feel like this is the perfect time for Will to finally find a boyfriend - Jonathan and that girl whose name I forgot will get engaged - The last scene will be a "5 years later" thing where we see everyone happy but then something happens and we end with a feeling of "oh no, it's not ove yet!!"

As someone who has had to have dressings pulled out of her leg without anesthesia or pain meds (the doctors forgot to give me some before they did this), I can tell you it is excruciating, and those dressings weren't fighting me back, so I can't imagine how much this hurt poor El, dear lord.
