I think Calgar is reeling from suddenly finding that he's no longer the golden boy of the Adeptus Astartes. One day he's minding his own business, conquering the galaxy or whatever, and the next day he finds a literal legend has shown up out of the blue with every right to take over his position as the top dog. On top of that, the legend happens to think the entire universe has gone stark raving mad since he was last a part of it. We're seeing Calgars take on things, and the dude is suffering from a serious loss of identity. I'd say they're setting him up for a giant fall. More pragmatically, it'd be a waste of good story fodder for Calgar to just roll over and happily babysit the homeworld while Guilliman takes over.
And now He doesn't even have Sicarius around to punch, in order to make himself feel better. It also sounds like, Guilliman is dealing with his own doubts and issues, by taking them out on those beneith him, unable to see the damage he's doing in the ranks of his own forces.
By "what happened to the 1st legion", you meant THAT THEY BECAME THE MOST LOYAL CHAPTER EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE IMPERIUM, then yes, you are right of course. Because everyone knows that the Dark Angels ARE ABSOLUTELY LOYAL AND LOVE THE EMPEROR, NO MATTER WHAT and THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS FALLENS, AND SAYING SO IS HERESY, FOR WHICH YOU WILL REPENT!
Calgar needs to grow a new pair. The Primarch comes from a different time and was under for some time. Of course he'll see things, like relics that were once his, differently and handle them casually. Back then they actually knew how all their shit work and didn't fall into mystery.
TheGigafist this really brings me to thinking of the fall of Fulgrim. Roboute is leaving him on Maccragge due to his importance and how vital the world is to everything, not because he is punishing Calgar. Like how Fulgrim took every comment as a slight and every action as a barb against his pride.
Of course Gilliman treats these "Relics" differently, to him, it's just his own old crap. Where Calgar sees "The Gauntlet of Whatever" Guilliman sees his old glove that he lost the pair to 10,000 years ago. Perspective.
Reminds me of various fanfics of Captain America waking up in the modern day. “Why are my shoes in the Smithsonian? They were just a comfy pair of shoes...” Only, you know, with less humility and adorable confusion, and more blue arrogance. Guilliman would never say he was “Just a kid from Macragge”... no matter how awesome and funny that would be.
Wait till the the next hive fleet comes and Gulliman has no idea how to fight Nids like Calgar. It would be interesting to see. Gulliman knew all about Chaos, Necrons and Nids are newer. I could forsee Gulliman and Primaris marines so much more physically prepared but not aware of all the dangers the chapter marines have learned to face over ten long millennia. I don't know, of course. Would be interesting
God I hope not. I'd like to think that Black Library has some sense not to reuse plotlines that fast. But with the hoopla going on about the Chad Primarus Marines, we may be in for Horus Heresy 2 Electric Boogaloo
@Pyroskies Of *COURSE* Guilliman has fallen to Chaos! First, he's been raised by Xenos sorcery and sacrificial magics; second, he perverted his own Holy Father's creations with the machinations of a lowly Tech-priest; and NOW he has the gall to question the judgement and loyalty of the only man who has held the mini-empire he left unsupervised together for so long. The man is lost. Perhaps he has been for far longer than we think.
It's been 10k Years for us, yet only a blink for Rowboat Girlyman. I honestly think he's expecting his 30k Legion to be around (In Attitude I guess?) , and is actually the one with issue adjusting with the 40k Legionaries.

"A chapter master falling to chaos seems almost unthinkable." Honestly.... not to me. The Primarchs fell. Fulgrim, Magnus, Horus, they were the best among all of them. If that can be corrupted, anyone can.
..or..Big Papa Smurf has an inclining of whats coming, and knows he need his best..Marneus Calgar, on Macragge for whenever it may happen. He did spend a lot of time with those Eldar. Guilliman, hoping that by having him suitably and subtly admonished for his failures, Calgar will stride to greater heights of courage and honour in defence of Macragge when the shit hits the fan.
This is a shot in the dark: what if GW are pushing an actual HH 40k edition. Guilliman making all of these obvious mistakes is actually good for the narrative. By having Guilliman take the role of Emperor briefly, it actually makes the other Primarchs returning make sense. Guilliman is literally at the cusp of starting the HH part 2, with Calgar, Primaris Marines, teaming with Cypher and Xenos. The other Primarchs are probably looking at him and wondering if HE, has in fact, fallen to chaos. With the recent 40k rumor showing what looks like Rogal Dorn's shoulder, and if he is indeed the next returning Primarch, I think there is a damn good chance that Guilliman will be getting some serious punishment coming his way. This would lead up to the Lion returning. The Lion wont be having any of Guilliman's crap. This could be GW attempting to get Guilliman out of the way of ruling the Imperium, because they knew that fans wouldn't be keen on it. Is this GW acknowledging that Ultramarines aren't the poster boy? Is this them driving the narrative in a way that puts Guilliman in a bad light, that of coarse, none of us would see coming? Is this what is needed for the other Primarchs to return? Which returning Primarch should step up to stop the HH part 2 from happening? Or is it already too late?
One theme I can't help but see in every novel or theory I see online is that the superhumans (space marines & primarchs) are insanely sensitive compared to how normal people would react when faced with any sort of criticism. It's like they react like a child if handed any sort of downside in a performance evaluation. Basically Normal Person: Oh hey I didn't have guidance on X and had to use my best judgement. Boss: You're best judgement was incorrect: Normal person: OK will note it so it doesn't happen again. Here was my thought process based on past experiences, tell me where I went wrong. Boss: *Points out logic flaw or experience bias* Normal person: I see I won't screw up like that again. Space marine: My boss criticized me but he's imperfect, time to turn to chaos and fuck the imperium.
Not having read Dark Imperium, I will have to take everything said in this video as accurate. With that information, and given Robooty's very mild and non-pointed statements, with Calgar taking them as unwarrented criticism, I've got to say... Calgar is an idiot. You cannot expect the Primarch to hold you blameless for a major Chaos invasion of your realms, and heap praise upon you while Plague Marines stand on the soil of worlds you are responsible to protect. Oh, he wants to spend more time in system to make sure his directives are properly followed? Maybe that's because you've got PLAGUE MARINES ON PLANETS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR! Maybe Ghoulie-man has a point, hmm? Why on Terra are you DESERVING of honors and plaudits when you HAVE PLAGUE MARINES ON PLANETS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR!?!? Anyone else seeing a pattern here? Maybe Calgar is being reprimanded because he deserves it? And as for "Ghoulie-man isn't respecting Chapter Relics like I think he should," they're HIS STUFF, you mouthbreathing smurf! They're relics of the Chapter precisely because they belonged to him. HE is what makes them a relic. So I don't think he needs your advice or opinion on how best to treat HIS STUFF. By the false rotting corpse Emperor, I play Thousand Sons and hate pretty much everything about Robooty Ghoulie-man, but Calgar is just a whiny brat. Y'all keep him, Chaos doesn't want him.
Read that like it's wrote by a chaos captain/whatever being a representative of his legion in a council like the UN. I feel bad for calgar. Even if he deserve all the critics. Send him back to the training grounds, but on veteran difficulty. He will release some pressure that way. And also do his fucking job: keep safe and clean ultramar.
"Calgar, I must demand a great sacrifice of you. I move to battle, and as selfishly as I would prefer a tested commander and soldier with me, I must ask you to stay. As we advance, knowing our back is safe, so must I ask you to stay behind, and forsake the glories of battle to the chore of guarding the industrial and agricultural foundation of Ultramar. If the foundation is lost, then no edifice can stand." Don't trash the man, ask him to do something big for you. Guard the rear.
Yeah guilliman understands that you can't go to war without having your man resources depot and industrial complex destroyed thats why in this quote I see this very wise from guilliman to say that.
Here's where I'm guessing: Roboute comes back, seeing the corruption in the Imperium Calgar is too blindsighted by his self-righteousness Civil war comes in, but unlike the HH, both sides actually believe they are fighting for the emperor (not the imperium alone, and no support of chaos.) Roboute and Calgar's troops would switch teams when those who side with Roboute believe he's been out of place and unfit to lead, and the same for Calgar Calgar, getting desperate, seeing some of his soldiers turn more and more against him, looks for allies elsewhere Desperate for anything, he turns to Xenos (not chaos yet?) and it all goes downhill from there for him. Roboute wins but gets a huge setback but not as bad as in need of stasis while he recovers he sees more conflict within the imperium and terra itself, and still has to fix it from there. Meanwhile with the thoughts after the following conflicts with the Ultramarines, Mortarion looks at his disfigured and tainted chapter, and wishes he hadn't fallen to chaos.
While they may have authority issues, both the primarch and the chapter master are loyal to the Imperium and the Emperor. I doubt that Calgar's resolve is so weak that being critiqued for not being perfect would cause him to fall to chaos. EDIT: I would also say that personally It feels a bit out of place to suddenly bring up Calgar's turn to Chaos, or the influence of the gauntlets of Ultramar. Are you telling me that now, suddenly after 10,000 years, the gauntlets are going to attempt to turn someone compared to the slew of chapter masters that came before Calgar? It's just kinda out of character. However it's at GW's discretion how they want to write 40k, and as such I'm moderately interested if they decided to go for it. Maybe as a comparison of Guilliman to the Emperor by having one of his best and brightest sons fall under the sway of chaos.
So, if someone's angry with daddy for being too overlooking, that someone's sure to fall to Chaos? If that's true, I don't know how isn't every single world of the Imperium full of daemons
well, last time i checked, daemons dont really need you to KNOW about Chaos because they TELL you about Chaos (or just use your emotions to fuck everyone around you without telling you). If you needed to know about Chaos for it to work, then all those Chaos cult arisings in the hives would not exist, since i sincerely doubt they were told about Chaos by their fellows
I feel like this will cause a split in the Ultramarines, with a good portion of successor chapters following him, good job girlyman you managed to do in a couple years what we have been trying to do for 10,000 years
If Calgar does fall, it will be due to the combination of the "Daemon weapon" usage and the ridicule from Guilliman. I find this a very interesting time for 40k. You have chapters unsettled by Primaris marines, you have powerful loyalist leaders beginning to doubt their leadership, and a chance for multiple inter-chapter conflicts that could cripple the imperium worse than it was. So much story potential... All in my opinion of course.
Well, you gotta give him this, Guilliman is a true son of his father. Because this is similar to how the stage was set for the Horus Heresy. Most of the renegade primarchs felt slighted by Big E. Interesting how history repeats itself. All that is left for Tzeentch's plot to ripen is for some of the Primaris to fall. If the astartes should be nervous around the Primaris, then the chaos space marines should really be nervous. Because the champions of the various ruinous powers will discard their current servants in favor of these lovely new Primaris chaos marines. Which could lead to a civil war in chaos. Ah yes, we live in interesting times. LOL
I think Gulliman has a bit more to worry about than giving a little hug to Calgar, stabilization of the whole Imperium is needed and Calgar as the main tetarch of the new reformed 500 worlds is a big step-up in power and responsibility. It will all calm down
Upon first reading my copy of Dark Imperium, I immediately grew suspect of Calgar. Only I had no idea why until you made this video...hurrah for instincts i guess?
I think that odds are good for him to turn to chaos. This would ideally give Guilliman a moment to reflect on his comments criticizing the Emperor's actions and realize that he was perhaps being a bit too harsh on the Emperor. This bit of personal growth might make it possible for him to turn Papa Smurf back to the forces of not-chaos.
Plot twist. It's actually girlyman who, on account of being a Primarch, is -very slowly- falling to chaos and he's ditching Calgar due to the influence of the CGs upon him. Calgar's still the good guy after all? ;)
Plot twist the second: Guilliman is actually a Commissar and his Guardsman steed wearing Guilliman's armor and acting like they know what they are doing and getting away with it because everyone thinks they are the real Guilliman.
Calgar is most likely going to be the progenitor of the Angry Marines that would explain their hatred of Guilliman and his UltraMarines and most definitely the Eldar because one of them helped revive Guilliman .
Did not read through peoples comments, so truly do not know if this has yet been discussed, but based on the constant shaming and damning of the chapter master, could this not be a ploy by a chaos god to turn a "legion" to the powers of chaos? Could it be that the mortal wound which Fulgrim delivered upon Roboutte actually embedded some form of daemonic corruption, and now the ultramarines are following a daemon Prince in the guise of their chapter primarch? Just a twisted thought.
I think Roboute sees in Calgar what he saw in Marius Gage. If you research back abit you'll notice alot of Similarities between the two of them. Calgar defended Macragge from the largest invasion of Tyranids for one. Even though that war cost the Ultramarines dearly, it clearly suggests that he is keeping him on Macragge because there is no other he would entrust the defence and to govern the homeworld. The Gauntlet theory is sound and I believe we'll be seeing a story to do with all Chaos related weaponry being used. There is an agenda behind all of it. 😁
i always had the feeling that either calgar or lorgan grimnar or both of them could fall to chaos because of their weapons....thank you for this vid remleiz
I think you fluffed a line towards the end there dude. Still, this only saddens me really. Guillimon is becoming more like his father, or is he becoming more passive aggressive towards those he himself admits to thinking of as imposters, in his livery. I have to admit it’s a bit depressing if corruption is true. Is 8 a number to Khorne?
Dude, I love you. I've been watching your content for a long time...but...I have to say something because it's been on my mind lately. It's the way you say the word 'Astartes'. It grates on me man. Sorry, keep up the good work! Lol
First, this is why Vulkan is the best Primarch, he never shamed his sons/subordinates for failure. Second, it sounds like Calgar is 40k's Xavyer Jubal, which may mean that we will get the return of Samus at some point soon (unless there is something already existing in lore that I don't know about stopping him/it from returning)
I'd like to see Calgar and Ventris turn Renegade. Not traitor! Fucking every single time Marines turn against the Empire they're shoehorned into Chaos. The only real exception was the Soul Drinkers, and Black Library tried their hardest to fuck them up right to the bitter end
To be fair, Alpha Legion probably forgot what side of the Heresy they were on in the first place and are just winging it these days to give whoever they deem as the 'underdog' in any given battle a fighting chance. Because reasons.
Remliez i was came up with two theories while watching this video: 1) is could the Emperor of Mankind have transferred a piece of his soul in to Guilliman as he is starting to turn more and more in to him. 2) could Calgar remake the horus heresy using the Primaris marines as way to gain or support or that they start taking over from the original marines and this is the match to the tinder box
I wonder if it may all be a test. Pushing Calgar just like the fallen primarchs were. Giving him every reason to turn traitor, and seeing if he does. Guilliman has missed so much while he was away. I doubt he knows who he can trust.
LegoMocMaker This could tie in to the theory regarding the Primaris Marines triggering a civil war, though. Most would likely stay loyal, but there are bound to be enough malcontents between the Ultramarines and their successors to pose a significant threat.
A civil war where both sides claim to be loyal and then push Chaos aside in their own rush to be the side that gets Holy Terra to themselves ending in a slap-fight between Calgar and Guilliman at the base of the Golden Throne while the Custodes just facepalm in the background.
Everyone always forgets that Gulliman pretty much hid for quite a bit of the Horus Heresy. Maybe the Emperor touched his mind, saw the cowardice, and Gulliman knows that if the Emperor is ever removed from the Golden Throne that he will regenerate and come for his ass. So Gulliman needs a new type of space marine to "protect the Imperium" i.e., save Gulliman's ass.
he may break off and form his own chapter, or possibly join a successor chapter such as the fulminators. another possibility is that marneus could even commit suicide. which would be a first for the recorded 40k history books as im not certain there is another moment penned down where a marine committed suicide out of guilt or shame or depression
I doubt the Gauntlets are tainted by chaos. They were worn by many other chapter masters over milenia and even Guiliman himself (how did they fit is another matter...) with no ill effect. Having said that it would be fun to see an episode dedicated to the origins and nature of this relic of old.
Obsession with a feeling of being mistrusted and phobia of beeing seen as a failure. Someone seems to be succumbing to the whispers of the God of Excess - Slaanesh.
It's crazy that Calgar, for decades (in real life), has been the pinnacle example of what an Ultramarine and even humanity as a whole should strive to emulate, has now been more or less reduced to a second-rate errand boy dunce now that Big Daddy Roboute is back. How freakin' amazing would it be if Abaddon was killed / removed from the story-line and Calgar took up the mantle as the over-thrower of kings much like Horus did during the heresy? I'd love to see a crazy story-line arc where the former hope and model of mankind's greatness became bitter and disillusioned and ultimately an enemy to the throne.
13:15 Yes I fucked up, I meant to say Calgar not Guilliman. Sadly I can't add an annotation because RUclips doesn't allow those anymore...

@@danieltgrissani Just wait until Guilliman finds the shrine they made in his bathroom...
Reminds me of various fanfics of Captain America waking up in the modern day. “Why are my shoes in the Smithsonian? They were just a comfy pair of shoes...”
Only, you know, with less humility and adorable confusion, and more blue arrogance.
Ye, would be awesome to read a story about that.
Calgar is a badass, nothing cooler than Power Fists with underslung Bolters

How about Leman Russ being Leman Russ and ripping shit apart because he's *LEMAN MOTHERFUCKING RUSS* ?
Check out Nassir Amit's Chainfists with integrated Storm Bolter.

Nassir Amit, also badass enough to call Guilliman a tool to his face and outright call his codex "stupid" twice, after getting punched through a wall
He sold the soul of his chapter to the Dark God, Matt Ward. also...
*UUUUUURRRRRRRRSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH*
Inquisitor Thomas not funny anymore
Inquisitor Thomas he's always been mine
Matt Ward Begone you vile daemon of the warp! Go back to sniffing warp dust and quit your job at Games Workshop.
If he does it'll be the Horus Heresy all over again "like father like son"
It's more likely that Guilliman is slowly falling to chaos considering his ungrateful attitude.
Pyroskies lets hope not because having a primarch in command while falling to chaos in modern 40k would be universally bad for the imperium of man
God I hope not.
Blackguard well he did come from pre-Hours Heresy. not to forget, he was sleeping for 10 thousand years
Personally the worse I see is Calgar becoming a member of the Death Watch...or if he's depressed enough go full Blackshield. Would be interestin'.
I find that it's actually Guilliman being slowly swayed to chaos considering his attitude towards the chapter master and such.
It'll at least give him some breathing room. Perhaps he could really use that break from Bobby G
His augments would be a dead giveaway if he goes black shield.
It's been 10k Years for us, yet only a blink for Rowboat Girlyman. I honestly think he's expecting his 30k Legion to be around (In Attitude I guess?) , and is actually the one with issue adjusting with the 40k Legionaries.
Imperial Fists
It'd be funny if *Mjød burp* Boatman Rowgirly powerfi *Mjød hiccup* powerfisted Murnaos Coolgur in the... uh... in the ass... with a *Mjød burp* powerfist.

I understand this is only personal view on the GW world. But... TBH I view this as THE voice of 40k! Keep up the good work please.
"A chapter master falling to chaos seems almost unthinkable."
Honestly.... not to me. The Primarchs fell. Fulgrim, Magnus, Horus, they were the best among all of them. If that can be corrupted, anyone can.
Last time I was that early Horus was still loyal to the Emperor...
That other sane custodian last time i was this early the war of the beast happened
Last time I was this early the Unification Wars were just getting started
Last time i was this early the war on heaven just started
Maztermox you 2 are actually fucking late so stop ur pathetic atempt to fit in with a titan and custode!
The last time I was this early the titan wasn't build yet.
It seems that Guilliman is doing what he does best, tearing up traditions and constantly innovating xD
TTS Calgar: "AAAAARRRGH! FUCK MY PRIMARCH! HE TURNED ALL OF OUR VICTORIES TO SHIT! NOTHING IS EVER GOOD ENOUGH FOR HIM!"
..or..Big Papa Smurf has an inclining of whats coming, and knows he need his best..Marneus Calgar, on Macragge for whenever it may happen.
Wait, when did you hear about Dorn?
It's been a year, did any of this end up going anywhere?
Hey! I want to know more!
(Oups, wrong universe)
Oh yeah baby *grabs popcorn*
I fucking knew it.
The Old Junk You don't know shit...
Maybe Calgar will find and rescue the legendary Captain Titus. Titus will join Calgar in forming a new chapter and then we can have Space Marine two!
No cato sicarius memes yet?
Im surprised
Джозеф primarious sicarius
H-A-H-A.... funny not
Джоз
Matt Ward must be seething over the tarnishing of his Spiritual Liege.
It's pay back for all that time Matt Ward made him so OP.
Veda Ra *PYLONS*
Aren't all chapter masters OP though?
Now he's a primaris
My guess is GW noticed the fan backlash to the Ward Heresy. This must be their way of atoning.
This video has sat at the top of my recommended list since it came out so I gave up and watched it. I am glad I did.
So you're saying the Ultramarines might not be perfect for once? Awsome.
Yeah, I agree.
It's an important task, and calgar doesn't get it.
You can't stand a war without logistics.
Yeah guilliman understands that you can't go to war without having your man resources depot and industrial complex destroyed thats why in this quote I see this very wise from guilliman to say that.
Stella Elite has a great voice - really suits a 40K character.
Here's where I'm guessing:
Roboute comes back, seeing the corruption in the Imperium
Calgar is too blindsighted by his self-righteousness
Civil war comes in, but unlike the HH, both sides actually believe they are fighting for the emperor (not the imperium alone, and no support of chaos.)
Roboute and Calgar's troops would switch teams when those who side with Roboute believe he's been out of place and unfit to lead, and the same for Calgar
Calgar, getting desperate, seeing some of his soldiers turn more and more against him, looks for allies elsewhere
Desperate for anything, he turns to Xenos (not chaos yet?) and it all goes downhill from there for him.
Roboute wins but gets a huge setback but not as bad as in need of stasis
while he recovers he sees more conflict within the imperium and terra itself, and still has to fix it from there.
Kevin Jensen I’m sure the Emperor said the same thing about Perturabo
Ever heard of Xavyer Jubal
Calgar: "We'll start our own chapter, with relics, and glories!"
now i can't unsee a TTS short of MAC being tempted by his own gauntlets in the usual comedy route
Calgar at 3:03 legit looks like Gary Busey.
Zincy omg bruh your totally right! 10/10 would watch “life with calgar” hahahaha
Calgar needs to take a chill pill and do his job. Honor can become pride very easily.
Seems like Bobby G is testing Calgar.
So, if someone's angry with daddy for being too overlooking, that someone's sure to fall to Chaos? If that's true, I don't know how isn't every single world of the Imperium full of daemons
Because they dont know about Chaos.
well, last time i checked, daemons dont really need you to KNOW about Chaos because they TELL you about Chaos (or just use your emotions to fuck everyone around you without telling you). If you needed to know about Chaos for it to work, then all those Chaos cult arisings in the hives would not exist, since i sincerely doubt they were told about Chaos by their fellows
*ultra-sobbing and ultra-depression intensifies*
This would defiantly be interesting, the smurfs need a humbling.
I feel like this will cause a split in the Ultramarines, with a good portion of successor chapters following him, good job girlyman you managed to do in a couple years what we have been trying to do for 10,000 years
Maybe Calgar needs to become his own man and found a new chapter?
If Calgar does fall, it will be due to the combination of the "Daemon weapon" usage and the ridicule from Guilliman. I find this a very interesting time for 40k. You have chapters unsettled by Primaris marines, you have powerful loyalist leaders beginning to doubt their leadership, and a chance for multiple inter-chapter conflicts that could cripple the imperium worse than it was. So much story potential... All in my opinion of course.
Its a play, Gilliman and Calgar are trying to lure out corrupting influences in Ultramar, once they try to tempt Calgar the trap will then be sprung.
LOL
the novel dark imperium was surprisingly well written in terms of language
Calgar's eye patch moved from side to side like the cane with Hugh Laurie's character in "House".
I starting to think this won't end well, it never does
I think Gulliman has a bit more to worry about than giving a little hug to Calgar, stabilization of the whole Imperium is needed and Calgar as the main tetarch of the new reformed 500 worlds is a big step-up in power and responsibility. It will all calm down
Suggestion: a video on Uriel Ventris. He's my favourite character. Did he appear anywhere since Rowboaty returned?
Like father, like son. I guess Gulliman found the emperor's book: How to alienate and turn against you those closest to you.
Guilleman, you're supposed to praise in public, and correct IN PRIVATE! If Calgar is fucking up, you talk to him about it in private.
I CAST FIST!!
Sorry, I binge Watched the TTS series.
Its the only way to properly watch the series. also *ultra fuckin crying*
The Imperial Fists are here to assist. Sorry for the Delay, we were busy teaching some Eldar what an 'Imperial Fisting' is.
Imperial Fists hey, I should send you guys some Power Shovels on the house.
Calgar is most likely going to be the progenitor of the Angry Marines that would explain their hatred of Guilliman and his UltraMarines and most definitely the Eldar because one of them helped revive Guilliman .
It also sounds like it could be a set up for internal chapter conflict if Ultrimar tryes to brake away from the High Lords.
Look Calgar, it’s my chair I’m going to sit in it. I don’t really care if you’ve prayed to it every morning for the last 10 thousand years.
This is giving me flashbacks of Caliban. Does that mean if Calgar pulls a Luther, Cato Sicarius would become the Ultramarine Cypher?
Papa Smurf falling? THAT I'd like to see. @Zeno Blues. Yes, Guilliman is becoming increasingly like the Emperor
ShadowFox178
Yep, 8 is khorne's sacred number
Darthlicious Thanks, wasn’t sure.
That dude needs a hug
Dude, I love you. I've been watching your content for a long time...but...I have to say something because it's been on my mind lately. It's the way you say the word 'Astartes'. It grates on me man. Sorry, keep up the good work! Lol
Can you do a video about Eliphas the inheritor? or about what the space marines eat to sustain themselves :D
BraynCel he just abandoned them. Mr Love and Friendship took off for parts unknown, to hang out with the Skost of Ferrus Manus.
I'd like to see Calgar and Ventris turn Renegade. Not traitor! Fucking every single time Marines turn against the Empire they're shoehorned into Chaos. The only real exception was the Soul Drinkers, and Black Library tried their hardest to fuck them up right to the bitter end
and Alpha Legion.
To be fair, Alpha Legion probably forgot what side of the Heresy they were on in the first place and are just winging it these days to give whoever they deem as the 'underdog' in any given battle a fighting chance. Because reasons.
Remliez i was came up with two theories while watching this video:
1) is could the Emperor of Mankind have transferred a piece of his soul in to Guilliman as he is starting to turn more and more in to him.
2) could Calgar remake the horus heresy using the Primaris marines as way to gain or support or that they start taking over from the original marines and this is the match to the tinder box
This video made me wanna hug Calgar.
I wonder if it may all be a test. Pushing Calgar just like the fallen primarchs were. Giving him every reason to turn traitor, and seeing if he does. Guilliman has missed so much while he was away. I doubt he knows who he can trust.
2:35 where is that art from, it’s amazing!
I doubt Calgar will sway many of the Ultramarines if he were to fall. I believe many of them would stay loyal to Big G.
LegoMocMaker This could tie in to the theory regarding the Primaris Marines triggering a civil war, though. Most would likely stay loyal, but there are bound to be enough malcontents between the Ultramarines and their successors to pose a significant threat.
Ultramarine blue is only a thin skin, hiding the rot of Chaos. All have fallen, All must Burn!
What if Big G falls?
Джозеф Then the Imperium is fucked
Your knowledge makes me feel I want more. Plz give Ramliez give me more Knowledge.
What fucking detail... bravo brother... bravo
he may break off and form his own chapter, or possibly join a successor chapter such as the fulminators. another possibility is that marneus could even commit suicide. which would be a first for the recorded 40k history books as im not certain there is another moment penned down where a marine committed suicide out of guilt or shame or depression
another major negative influence could be the warp rift, as warp storms are known to cause these types of events.
Guilliman to Clagar: You Fucking Donkey!
Guilliman to Dante: Oh Dear Oh Dear Gorgeous
Man like father like son this sounds just like The lead up to the great heresy! Hey dose anyone know how powerful a psych can get?
chris soto Malcador was the strongest baseline human Psyker to ever live
I doubt the Gauntlets are tainted by chaos. They were worn by many other chapter masters over milenia and even Guiliman himself (how did they fit is another matter...) with no ill effect.
Having said that it would be fun to see an episode dedicated to the origins and nature of this relic of old.
I believe that Guilliman is testing him.
I'd like to see calgar join the tau
