Just bought a 2014 glider with 12.7... the trucks low coolant shit comes on. They replaced the sensor and same shit. They had already replaced the ecm, cables and a whole bunch of shit. What u think it could be? Mechanic wants to bypass the light
@@nba3512 I've had bad sensors before new from the dealer. However very very rare. It has happened. Try sticking a stripped wire into the plug. Like I did in the video. If the light goes away? Then it's the sensor or plug. If it stays on? Then disconnect the light. It doesn't have a buzzer warning indicator and the warning light? It could also be the coolant sensor on the block? It's located on the passenger side rear of the motor block.
@@nba3512 The coolant sensor on the block is a temperature sensor. I don't think that would be your problem? But it's not difficult to change. U just have to empty some coolant into a 5 gallon bucket. I don't think it's that temp sensor but u never know
@@kurtsibila9682 my truck shuts off because it detects low coolant but the resovoir is full. The coolant level sensor and connection are both new. Well the mechanic messed with it a little ill keep u updated
Thank you bro

Did u replace the plug that plugs into the sensor? Could be corrosion on the connection. Or just a bad plug? Let me know if that works?
@@kurtsibila9682 everything was replaced. New ecm plug and sensor

How to change that sensor?
It just screws in
Turn off the engine before you talk
