Nothing to worry about Arnel. Journey was fading fast before they found and hired you. You basically brought the band back to life and gain more younger fans especially in Asia.
True. So when Arnel go back home, he could proudly say that he went inside the White House, met President Trump, shake his hand and had a group picture together to prove it.
That is their Americans right to be there! It’s a Free Country. Why not exercise their rights?, Everybody else does! Go Jonathan, Steve and Arnel for taking a Stand!
Hopefully Neal took a chill pill. It would not matter who was the President to me. This is the greatest country in the USA. I would go meet the president.
Arnel Pinada, you deserve to enjoy the fruits of your hard work and you have every right to enjoy every moments of what you have accomplished. JOURNEY needs you as much as you need JOURNEY so, you can’t make everyone happy and no one can stay with bullies or controlling people around you. God bless you.
arnel pineda in the eyes of the americans is just another journey singer...but to have a picture with the most powerful president, i think is an honor...whoever is invited to the white house - whoever is the president - is a big honor...a once in a lifetime!!!
Neil needs to understand Arnela is not from the US and regardless he going alone or with Journey it's a big thing. This is what's wrong with left they forgot how special it is to be an American. The Asian people love America and to be able to visit the white house and meet the president is an honor regardless who is this presiden
How many musicians visit the White House? Did Elvis Presley visited? Why not anyone else. Lol what's the big deal? Arnel is not political, it's about seeing the White House.
Journey fans and other young people should be trilled to be in the White House, it is a great honor to go. Haters may not like him but they have been deceived by liberals and media. Trump has done more good for Americans than any Pres. in a long time. The economy is good for all people. Give him a chance, i liked your music Journey but we are tired of HATERS causing problems.
I could care less who the POTUS is, I would visit the WH in a heartbeat given its rich history. Neal should be more understanding. Don't create that drama for such an historic band. Cmon now...
schon must have trust to arnel.. ap is not american citizen, or not voters in there country.. same as ordinary filipino or if u are ofw, we are fanatic in taking pictures, if we go in other place..that is WH and with the president of america..of course taking pictures is a souvenier of a lifetime
As a long time journey fan..i dont see anything wrong in visiting the white house..i mean c'mon..politics is politics..and music is music...i never thought schon to be such an egghead...with no yolk on it..youre ruining the band man.and if you care enough to know the problem..its not them(jon, arnel, and ross)...its you man..
@@mockingintercessor No, ever since the Left doesn't get to have their way with it and started criticizing it while throwing their political tantrums. The Left doesn't like when they're not in power so they'll do everything to screw everyone else over.
Neal Played a Romney event and when his own family called and said WTF he had to say to the public, "I'm a lifelond Dem, I only did this for the paycheck" . That wasn't necessary , and neither is apologies for visiting the White House . Just saying.
Visiting the White House and meeting the current President is a great privilege every Americans and foreigners enjoy.bit has nothing to do with politics. A person may not like the person who held the office of the President but they should respect the person who held that position.
Nothing to do with politics or religious beliefs with Journey? Well how about that, Schon sure has profited off of pseudo-spiritual beliefs through the likes of Journey lyrics in some of their biggest hits. Ever heard of Don't Stop Believin', Faithfully, or Mother/Father. Here's just a single sample of lyrics... nothing deep theologically, but it speaks of spirituality and faith, but in what? Whom? For what purpose? "Lord help this broken home..." (lyrics from Mother, Father) To which Lord do you think the mother in this song is praying/appealing? Have faith, believe. Are they appealing to some seventh son of folklore? If so, then Jonathan Cain should not be using Don't Stop Believin' in the church, especially if all that the members of Journey mean by having faith is believing and trusting in some folklore seventh son who is going to rescue them from their wretched circumstances. Now, Jesus, on the other hand, He IS someone Who can rescue a man from his wretched state, but that cost of salvation comes at a steep price. Following Jesus means giving up one's vestiges of earthly glory and prestige because that is something that is not worth offering up to God as an offering. Don't think so? Why not just inquire about two of Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, who offered incense with “strange fire.” The Hebrew word translated “strange” means “unauthorized, foreign, or profane.” God not only rejected their sacrifice; He found it so offensive that He consumed the two men with fire. You can't offer praise to a righteous and Holy God with something which was profane and wreaks of worldly re-gifting! King David certainly knew not to offer anything to Lord unless it cost him something; in other words a greater burden or sacrifice to be able to make it. Sometimes pure offerings to God will cost you something you desire greatly, but forego it in order to offer up your best possible offering!
There are photos online of an endless number of celebrities hugging up to Donald Trump before he ran for political office. You are an elite, wealthy star. I love your music but as a working peasant I agree with the outcome of President Trump's actions but wish he had 100% more finesse. Let's go back 10 years when people were mature enough to accept individuals with different political or worldviews. Forget it. Don't judge.
I'm not understanding the reason a band members (PERSONAL ASSISTANT) needs to be standing in this picture to begin with. He's no member of the band. He's like a piece of gum stuck on the bottom of Arnels tiny shoe.
Jan Sandman I agree. But his assistant Yul has rode Arnels coat tail everywhere he goes. He's not in the band. Why does he feel like he has to have his mug in every picture with Arnel? He's NOT a band member. JS
as i understand they were not there as journey but as wondering fan. its just so happened they are well known band members of the latter but as i understand again they where there again as individuals.
Jan Sandman I understand completely that they were not there as a official band. But if you look back on all of the pictures, Yul is in the pictures especially when it's a big function. He is his personal assistant which requires him to take care of issues behind the stage. He should not have even bèen in this photo. Like he is in every photo that Arnel is in that's a big event. He's an assistant, not his baby sitter. His job is to take care of him backstage. Not puting him self in official pictures they take. It appears this little visit is more likely to be the end of Journey. Too much disagreement and disrespect that bands name. IF they tour in 2018 I look for this to be the last of this band. As there is too much arguing amongst the band. I think everyone will go their own way and that will be the last of Arnel and a couple of others have different things going on. No one wants to see a pic of someone who works backstage to be up in Arnels business. Getting his picture taken every time Arnel takes a picture with bandmates. Just my opinion. If they tour in 2018 I think this will be the last of this band anyway.
